2. Brother vs Sister
"I'm done with you and your so-called love. Morning you promised nothing will change between us but now I can see the change." She said with teary eyes. It seems like she's holding back her tears.
I'm angry with my sister and my best friend looking at her. They made her cry. I have known about Abhigya and Ishaan for a long time and I support them. But I'm angry with them for a girl whom I don't even know.
"It's not like that baby.." Ishaan turned towards her.
"Baby? You called her baby in front of me?" Abhigya chided.
"Is this bitch so important to you?" Abhigya said irritated and raised her hand to slap her.
"Sweety..." There was anger in Ishaan's tone.
Even I'm angry with my sister.
"I'm done. I'm going home. " She said wiping her tears.
She turned to leave but her dupatta got struck to a nail. She turned back and pulled it which tore the dupatta.
"Cheeku.." Ishaan shouted.
"I'm not your cheeku anymore bhai. I'm going to inform everything to dad."
"Cheeku don't."
"You are still concerned about yourself after all this?" She asked angrily.
"Cheeku it's not like that beta."
"I can see how it is. Bye."
She turned towards me.
"Thanks for the invite Mr.Ratore and sorry for the mess I created." Saying so she started walking away.
I'm getting affected by her tears but I don't know why.
She walked a few steps when Dadi sa called her.
"Isha beta where are you going?" Dadi sa asked.
And all of us were dumbstruck. We know about Ishaan's little sister Isha but never met her.
So the girl at the temple was my best friend's sister and I thought I lost her. Well, it's my so-called best friend's fault. He never showed her pics nor let us meet.
"She.." Abhigya stopped mid-sentence.
"Yes. My dear little sister. And congratulations you have officially made my entire family your enemies with your words. " Ishaan replied.
"I didn't know."
"Then you should listen naa. You raised your hand on her sweetie. No one in our family ever raised their voice on her. Maybe you are from a royal family but for our home and business, she is the princess. Everyone in the family and office treats her with so much love and respect and you called her names."
"I'm sorry Ishaan I was jealous. "
"And now she's hurt. If Dad knows that his princess cried he's gonna kill me."
"Will she really say that to your dad?" Abhishek asked.
"I don't know. But she's hurt and she's not gonna help me now. I think she's not gonna talk to me."
"She doesn't look childish. " I said.
Ishaan just gave a disappointed look to Abhigya and left.
"Bhai what now?" Abhigya turned towards me.
"You created the mess so clear it yourself. And I warn you guys don't even help her." I warned my brothers and left to grab a drink.
She was looking like an angel out of heaven and my sister made her cry. I was angry with everything that happened in the event and kept drinking.
I asked Maharaj ji(cook) to cook dosa for me and waited for my breakfast. Bhai came and took his usual place.
"Ishu.."
I ignored him.
"Ishu please talk to me."
I ignored him again.
"Ishu, please. I'm begging you."
"Ayyo Mr. Ishaan Singh Raizada why are you begging shameless people? you shouldn't."
"Ishu she doesn't know."
"So? She can't just say anything she wants just because she doesn't know. And don't you dare cover for her,"
"Okay, baba. I'm on your team okay? I'll take you for lunch and shopping to make up for my mistake."
"Okay but if it repeats then I won't forgive so easily."
"I promise it won't."
He left for his office.
After some time I got a call from my dad.
"Hello, Dad,"
"Hi, beta. I want you to do some work."
"Ji papa."
"Can you please take the accounts file in my drawer to Ratore Inc. beta?"
"I'll dad. Come back soon. I'm missing you."
"I'm missing you too Ishu."
"Bye, Dad."
"Bye Ishu."
I took the file and drove to Ratore Inc.
I went to the receptionist and informed her about the file. She called Mr. Ratore and after confirming she asked me to go to his cabin.
I went into the cabin. Abhinav Singh is sitting in his chair. He is looking smoking hot. I didn't observe him yesterday because of that mess.
(Abhinav's look)
He looked at me and gestured for me to sit. I sat opposite to him.
He immersed himself in papers again.
"Dad asked me to give you this file."
I gave him the file.
"Okay." He replied taking the file without looking at me.
"Can't you say a thank you?" I murmured to myself.
"I don't say thank you." He said as if he listened to me.
"I'll leave." I got up to leave.
"Your dress looks good but that braid doesn't suit you." He said.
"What? " I turned towards him.
"Just saying." He replied without looking at me.
I came out of his cabin and left for home.
After a few hours, bhai sent me the location of the restaurant where we were going to have lunch. I changed my clothes and left for the dinner.
After a short drive, I reached the location. I went in and noticed my bhai was not alone. He was with Rathore siblings.
I went and saw a seat vacant beside Abhinav and sat.
We were sitting in a restaurant discussing how to convince Isha to talk to her parents about Ishaan and Abhigya when she entered. The only seat vacant was beside me as Abir didn't want to sit beside me and went to sit with Ishaan. I'm happy about that.
She is looking gorgeous in that dress. She removed her glasses and sat beside me.
"I thought we were having lunch bhai." She said.
"Yes, Ishu we all are having lunch," Ishaan replied.
"Ishu, do you want some sweets? It's your favorite na" Ishaan asked.
"Sorry, I hate sweets from now." She replied.
I covered my lips to hide my smile. She is too cute while sulking.
"Ishu.."
"What? can't I hate sweets just because you like them?" Ishani said looking at Abhigya.
Honestly, my sister deserves it.
"Okay, I'm sorry. I overreacted." Abhigya spoke.
"Ishu please forgive her," Ishaan added.
She looked at me. As if she is asking for my stand in this matter.
"It's up to you," I said. I didn't want her to forgive my sister because I know forgiveness can't be forced.
"Okay, but it will be the last time you speak like that to anyone," Ishani said.
"Thank you," Abhigya replied with a big smile.
After lunch, Ishaan took them shopping when we went to the office to finish some work.
