Chapter 21 Husband Cold Rejection

I cried for a long time that night before falling asleep.

The next day when I woke up, no one was on the reading chair.

I walked out to the living room.

I found the Husband sitting on the sofa. He gave me a cold glance before quickly looking away.

The sportswear boy squatted in the corner, looking at me eagerly.

The wild black-skinned man was still fiddling with the lighter that never lit his cigarette.

I ignored them and obediently sat next to the gold-rimmed-glasses Husband. "Husband."

The gold-rimmed-glasses Husband did not answer me.

I reached out for a hug but was ruthlessly pushed away.

Two burning gazes shot straight from behind.

The Husband curled a faint smile. "Is it that hard to reject her? Hmm?"

I felt sad about the Husband coldness.

But as his wife, lowering my head first was nothing.

After all, I loved him.

I blinked my sore eyes and took out the thing I had prepared long ago. "Auntie said quitting smoking is hard."

"So I made you a lot of nougat."

"If you want to smoke, just eat one, okay?"

From behind came the crisp sound of the lighter dropping.

"Damn damn damn damn damn. I can't take it anymore."

Then I saw the black-skinned Husband return within the time limit.

He lifted me up with one arm.

Without caring, he kissed me fiercely.
