All the employees who were passing by at that time were beyond stunned. The former young Miss of the Carson family suddenly came back and asked Harrison to marry her? What in the world was going on?
Harrison Whitney was one of the bodyguards for the Carson family and he was the most popular one.
Standing at a height of 6'2 with very handsome features, he was quite popular among the ladies,even Chloe had taken a fancy to him.
Unfortunately his grey eyes held no warmth at all as he gazed down at the young lady kneeling in front of him She wanted him to marry her?
What a joke! Does she know who she's talking to? Several women wanted to date him and the line could circle around the entire city more than ten times.
He simply replied "No" and turned away but he stopped in his tracks when she spoke "My dad asked me to marry you"
Really? It was her father that wanted her to marry him? What the heck was that sly fox William up to now?
Harper walked up to him and put her two hands together in a begging posture
"Please,I beg you. If I don't marry you my dad won't give me the money for my mom's surgery and...she might die! Please just help me, you're the only one who can help me".
Harrison paused at her words and he looked at Harper. She had several tears streaming down her cheeks and her hand was turning red as she held on to his sleeve tightly "Let go"
"I won't"
"Let go!"
"I said I won't!"
"But if you don't let go,how are we supposed to get married?" Upon hearing what he said Harper looked up at him with skepticism "I'm not kidding. Don't you need to marry me to save your mother? Now let's go"
