Chapter 6
"Here, have this" Harper raised her head and saw Harrison standing in front of her with a cup of steaming water in his hand. She reached out to take it and he simply stood there and watched her with his hands in his pockets. "Why were you walking in the rain like that? You looked like someone who's given up on living" "It's my mom" "What's wrong with her?" "The dean said he can't operate on her anymore" "Is that so? Then why-" Harrison was cut off by a phone call. He looked at the caller id and stood up, about to turn the door knob when he turned his head to look at Harper "I have something to do at the company so make yourself at home" "Will you be coming back?" "I don't think so"
Harper watched as Harrison left and she stared in that direction for a while before turning her head to look at the house. It was a simple and small that only had four rooms. The house was a bit dilapidated but,it was better than nothing.
But the black and white color scheme was a bit too dark for her liking so she had to spruce things up a bit. She had studied design so this kind of stuff wasn't difficult for her but it was a bit too late at night for her to go out now, she'd probably do that tomorrow. Right now she had to go to bed. She'd already formulated a plan and was going to execute it tomorrow, hopefully it would work.
