Chapter 8
"M-Mr Martin?! What are you doing here?" "Why do you look so troubled? It's not like I'm gonna eat you or something" "Are you the one who saved me? Can you please untie me?" "No can't do" "W-why?" "Do you really not know what's going on right now?" The hospital dean saw the look of confusion evident on Harper's face and shook his head then sighed
"Don't you want to save your mother?" "I-I do but what does that have to do with-" "Shh, I'm here to help with that" "How?" "It's simple really," The dean put his hand on Harper's face and revealed a sinister smile that scared Harper who began to struggle while trying to untie her hands from the rope. The dean held her hands to stop her while using the free one to remove his belt "You just need to let me take care of you,I promise I'll be gentle and as soon as this is over, I'll do the surgery for your mother myself"
"No please, don't do this to me!" "Shut up!" The dean slapped Harper hard and held her chin with force "Please, don't do this to me, I'm begging you!" "I said shut up!" The dean was about to rip off Harper's skirt when the door was suddenly kicked open and someone came in
"Are you deaf? She said you shouldn't touch her!" Harrison lifted the dean up by the collar and delivered a blow that knocked him unconscious. How dare he touch Harper?! Did he know whose woman he just touched?!
Harrison gently lifted Harper from the bed and held her in his arms while examining the mark on her face. The dean had slapped her so hard that there was a palm print left on her cheek. Upon seeing the print, Harrison boiled with anger. How could he have slapped his woman so hard? He was going to teach him a lesson he would never forget in his entire lifetime!
Harrison lifted his leg and was about to kick the dean when he suddenly heard someone sniffle. He looked at Harper in his arms and saw that she had opened her eyes and was now staring at him with tears in them. "What's wrong?" "I-I". Harper couldn't even say anything as she hugged Harrison's neck and sobbed while rubbing her face on his bodyguard suit.
Harrison was taken aback. He had a cleanliness obsession and couldn't stand such things but then he thought of how much the poor girl had suffered so he simply let her be and he gently patted her back. "Come on I'll take you to the hospital". He walked out of the room and signalled to his bodyguards before leaving.
A few hours later, Harper stared at Harrison as the nurse left the ward. He felt uncomfortable being scrutinized like that so he had to ask "What is it?" "How did you find me?" "Well,I saw your text and thought you were in trouble so I came over". Harper had sent a message to Harrison when she was about to enter the hotel room as she thought that something was wrong.
Clyde looked at Harrison and shook his head in his mind. Harrison literally ran out of the meeting room as soon as he got Harper's message and here he was pretending to be all calm. The boss was really good at lying with a straight face!
