Harper slapped Chloe's hand away from her dress "Don't you dare touch my dress!" "I didn't know my designer had such a violent behavior,seems like I'll have to find someone else". A young lady dressed in luxurious clothes that was standing at the door looked at Chloe with disdain clear in her eyes. She turned around and got into her car leaving Chloe to chase after her "Miss Miller, please don't go-". The car left and Chloe was left standing there looking like a mess. She was supposed to design a dress for the lady that just left. That design could have brought millions of dollars for her. She could even buy dresses more stunning than the one on Harper but her plans had been foiled thanks to Harper!
Harper watched as Chloe walked in dejectedly with a smile. She had done it on purpose! Chloe had said she was going to meet a client at the door so she deliberately made her look like a fool. She dared to insult Harrison? He was her husband! There's no way she was going to let that happen. Kaylie sighed and looked at Harper "I'm sorry Harper but I don't think you'll be able to get a job here,I think Chloe's been targeting you" "No need, it's okay" She picked up a cup from the table "Sister Kaylie,can I trouble you for some water?" "Sure thing, I'll be right back"
Harrison stood on the second floor while looking at Harper. A bodyguard beside him spoke "Boss, Miss Carson dared to try and stop Madam from getting a job,she also dared to insult her just now. Aren't you going to do something?" "There's no need for now". Harrison saw the scene that had unfolded downstairs and he wasn't surprised. Harper had always been someone who made resolute decisions,he admired that about her. She seemed to have everything under control and if she needs help,she should just say the word and he'll come running.
He was just about to leave when he turned his head "How are things going?" "Rest assured sir, everything's going well" "Good". The materials needed urgently by the company had been withheld, causing many sleepless nights for the CEO. All of this was done by Harrison of course,but he had no idea and even wanted to promote Harrison. "Make sure the word gets out. Anyone who dares deliver the materials to the Carson Group is going against the Whitney family!" "Yes sir"
