Chapter 50
Chloe dropped the broken bottle in shock as she looked at the figure that just came in. "H-Harrison-" Harper looked up at him and was stunned. There was a huge gash on his cheek and blood kept dripping, turning the collar of his shirt red.
Harrison slightly turned away after making sure Harper and Bethany were okay, he also let some of his bodyguards escort Bethany. Harper wanted to follow but Bethany stopped her "Mom!" "I'll be fine dear. You should stay here with Harrison, seems like you two have a lot to talk about" "Take it easy Mom" "I'll be fine Harrison, there's no need to worry"
Harrison finally turned slightly and stared at Chloe with no expression in his eyes. His bodyguards who were there couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat, because they only saw that expression if the boss is truly angry! "Harrison, it- this isn't my fault. You have to listen to me" He simply put his hands in his pocket and looked at her "Oh?" "That's right,it was Harper who tried to harm me, you should call the police!" "I usually don't touch women,but... today's an exception!" Harrison suddenly lifted his foot and kicked Chloe, sending her crashing into the wall of the hotel room. The force he had used was so hard that she felt like her ribs had broken.
Harper looked at Chloe in fright only to see Harrison staring at her when she lifted her head. She saw the gash on his cheek and couldn't help but feel heartbroken. Harrison walked towards her and he bent down to pick up the divorce papers and tore them into pieces. Harper watched his actions in panic but she composed herself when she saw him staring at her again.
"Why are you here? Look at your face, it hurts doesn't it? Come on, I'll take you to the hospital" Harrison sneered at her words "Weren't we acting? Don't you want to keep acting with me?"
Harper lowered her head before speaking with a small voice "H-how did you know?" Harrison moved even closer to her, and his refreshing scent wafted into her nose "You cried when you kissed me"
Harper looked up at Harrison with tears in her eyes. At that time her heart was in chaos and she was so engrossed in trying to stop Harrison from revealing his secret that she didn't even know that she was crying. "I'm sorry" Harrison gently wiped her tears with his thumbs "There's no need to apologize,but I want you to promise me something" "What is it?" "You should trust me. No matter what it is,you should tell me so we can face it together"
Harper couldn't bear it anymore and she threw herself into Harrison's arms, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist while sobbing gently against his chest. Harrison lowered his head and affectionately kissed her hair as he gently patted her back. "It's okay love, I'm here now"
He had thought about it for a while. Harper would blush anytime he looked at her,she could do so for days if he kissed her. He could tell she liked him a lot and didn't mind his status as a bodyguard so why would she say all that? So when he went out of the house,he hid behind a tree. Sure enough,he saw Harper walk out of the house dejectedly and followed her all the way to the hotel.
Chloe stood up and rubbed her sore waist. Upon raising her head, she saw Harper wiping her tears on Harrison's shirt while he affectionately patted her. That damn girl! She was so fierce while pulling her hair and now she was acting like this in front of Harrison?! Also Harrison could actually indulge her even after everything she had said?! That was unfair!
She was in love with Harrison so why wouldn't he even glance at her? She was definitely higher than Harper in status and could give him anything he wants!
Harrison probably hates her a lot now, and it's all Harper's fault! She was definitely going to teach her a lesson! Chloe picked up a bottle and was about to attack Harper when the door was suddenly kicked open again!
When Chloe lifted her head,she saw her dad coming in with a group of bodyguards, Ruby was also there with him. "Dad-" Chloe wasn't able to say a word when William suddenly lifted his hand and delivered a crisp slap to her face!
