Chapter 7 Smitten one
The moment Stephen reached his floor in the office, his secretary, David, followed him. It well acquainted him with Stephen’s working style, so he knows he has the permission to open his mouth only when Stephen asks him something; otherwise, he just has to follow him
When Stephen entered his lavish office, he found some unfinished files on the table. He gave a warning look at David., who got twitched by his stony gaze, so he tried to save his job

Stephen nodded at David.
After completing the signatures on the files, he ordered a black coffee for himself. He asked David about the day’s remaining appointment. To his relief, David informed us that the next meeting was in the evening. Stephen told him to not disturb him for a while as he wants to take some rest.
David's boss never announced this for the past 4 years, which shocked David, especially considering that Stephen is always known as a hardworking man and a workaholic, too.
David thought he must be worn out from yesterday’s traveling as he reached midnight. So he left the cabin, closing the door behind him, and then asked Stephen’s other secretary not to disturb him with any calls.
Stephen was enjoying his coffee, but he was getting distracted often by the girl who was lately in her thoughts.
Last night, when he felt her body beside her, her strawberry fragrance, and her soft skin, he could not forget the touch of her skin.
And when he saw her face, her beauty mesmerized him.
The eyes that were holding the innocence of the entire world, her shivering pink lips, her soft locks—when he caged her between his arms, he noticed her curves. She was the epitome of beauty.
Stephen never gets attracted to any girl.
He always witnesses girls who are ready to throw themselves on him, some money-minded greedy whores who never left a chance to earn Stephen”s attention, but he never glanced at them.
But something unexpected happened last night when Eva left the room, as did his mom and Steve.
Stephen felt a wave of need running in his veins.
He felt his member rock hard. He cursed his luck as he had to take another round of the shower.
The rest of the night, whenever he tries to get some sleep, a pair of innocent eyes appear in his mind.
Now he can’t deny the fact that Stephen Smith is getting smitten by a girl named Eva Johnson.
However, before he descends into the depths of obsession with her musings, he finds it imperative to scrutinize every aspect of her being.
He possesses only a rudimentary understanding of her familial connection as the daughter of his mother's friend, living in a small town. There is nothing further to discuss.
Stephen didn’t give a second thought and dialed the number. of his reliable man, who can find the details of any person who breathes on earth. Bob took the call in a single ring. “yes sir”
“Bob, I want you to find details of one girl; remember, I want every detail of her past and her present. I should miss nothing out, okay?"
“Yes, sir, it will be done in some days.”
“No, not that much time. Do it within a day; I am giving you only one day for this, so tell me now; you can do it, or should I assign this work to someone else?"
Bob knew Stephen very well, so he got scared by his tone. He realized the haste in his voice, so he did the wise thing. “Okay, sir, it will be done."
“Good, email me the report by tomorrow. “

Stephen took a deep breath to calm his heartbeat and tried to get some sleep now, at least.
At smith place
It was evening time when Eva was enjoying the swing on the lawn and also checking out the details of her classes.
She was trying to memorize the route of her classes from Smith's residence. Eva doesn’t want to bother the Smith family with her travel arrangements too, so she took a cab for the first day, and then she must look out for some other conveyance, too.
An unexpected video call from her friends disturbed her. She gleamed at the screen and took the call without wasting more time. All the friends squealed together and started talking about each other’s well being

This is the first time that some girl is accomplishing real talking with him without getting affected by his looks or his money status, and he likes that about Eva. .. He enjoys talking to her.
Before Steve could talk more, they heard an icy voice of Stephen from behind Eva. “What are you both doing this time in the garden?”

She slowly turned around and started walking inside the house, first in slow steps, then almost running. It shocked Steve and Stephen both to see her actions.

Stephen sighed and started walking towards his room. While he was unlocking the door, he glanced towards her room, which was locked. He entered inside the room and entered the washroom to have a shower., after changing into a comfortable set of t-shirts and trousers.
Eva becomes breathless by walking at speed.
She kicked her door first and then tried to control her heartbeat, which was beating in acceleration.
She never expected Stephen to return so early, as Rose and also Kathey mentioned about Stephen’s routine and also how he used to reach late at night, hardly attaining to have dinner with family.
Eva once again became worried about herself. She felt relieved that she only had one meal, breakfast, in his presence in the morning. However, now he is at home before dinnertime, which means she will have to face him throughout the entire dinner. She lost her appetite without even imagining this.
To her discomfort soon Kathey was standing at her door calling her for dinner; she didn’t have an option if she refused to have dinner because it would make Rose worried, and she doesn’t want to lie., especially to Rose. So she quietly followed Kathey to the dining room.

This time, in the chair that was placed in front of Steve, Steve again gave a smile at her, which she royally ignored.
Steve chuckled at her actions, as he was now enjoying her fierceness.
Rose smiled at the scene as she witnessed all the actions of both of them. Eva took a negligible amount of food on her plate. She was relishing her food when Steve commented
“You know you should eat more food, especially at night."
“Why?” Eva asked in irritation.
“As that will not make you famished till midnight and will save you from a midnight walk, I hope you remember my room.”
Eva just gave a glare at Steve, whereas Rose scolded Steve, and William chuckled then added, “Why do you keep teasing her like that? Trust me, if you keep doing this, then she will leave our place soon."
Steve pouted at this, whereas Rose and William shared a laugh. Eva also joined them
“Did I miss something? And who is leaving the house?"
A crisp voice again got their attention as Stephen walked towards his chair, which was placed between Eva and Steve.
Eva’s eyes got wide in surprise. She wanted this to be a hallucination or a bad dream, but to her misery, it was nothing like that.
As the devil Stephen was now sitting beside her.
