Chapter 61 The Defeat
Harry was observing his dad, who was busy reprimanding the legal team of his company.
It shocked Harry to know about how Eva stood in front of his dad. He always had a soft corner for Eva in his heart; he thought her to be a na?ve, sweet girl, but since he came to know about her real identity and her marriage with Stephen, his thoughts changed about her.
It’s difficult to say that Eva is such a money-oriented woman, but she already proved it by taking hold of the properties that rightfully belong to him and his dad.
Harry saw the leg team leaving the study room with an upset face, and Iiam was quick to make a drink for himself.

Richard smiled at her words, whereas a wave of relief washed over Michael listening to his daughter’s words, as at last she started accepting Stephen.
In the morning also, he saw how she rushed to embrace Stephen and their cute love moment too.
Michael was feeling relieved as he chose the right person for Eva, and they both will be delighted together.
“Eva, I want to ask you something. Where did you get the perfect attitude to deal with Hudson.? what I heard is you were a totally different person in the conference room.
“Well, that credit goes to Samantha. She gave me perfect tips, so I learned it from the best."
Eva stated while giving a smile to Samantha
“The reason for my confusion about the changes in you is this. However, Eva, please keep in mind that you should only focus on acquiring the knowledge that is essential. It is important to remember that Sam is a declared psychopath, as you know.”
“ Shut up, you jerk. and if someone needs treatment, than it’s you for sure, not me.
Samantha retorted back but before Steve could reply, William commented,
“Ok enough, Steve, now enjoy the dinner
“Why don’t you tell her dad?”
“Because he knew how you are,” Samantha teased him
. Rose interfered. William, do you not think that the way these two battles are reminiscent of how lovers fight with each other? I want you to know that if I see you two fighting again, I will be forced to contemplate the idea of you two being married to each other. “
Steve and Samantha both gaped at Rose in astonishment and the next moment, they got focused on their food. Every one present at the dining table chuckled at their reaction. The dinner got completed on a cheerful note.
After Richard and Samantha left for their homes, Michael let out his thoughts
“William, I think now it’s time for me to return home, too. I will leave tomorrow.”
‘What? But why dad?” Eva started in shock.
“Eva dear, try to understand I have to return home.”
“Dad, why don’t you understand? I can not leave you alone. You need someone to take care of you. How will you manage there all alone?

Eva broke the hug and gaped at him in astonishment
“What are you even saying? Dad has no one except me to take care of him, which he needs the most now. How can he expect me to leave him all alone in this condition? No, no that’s not happening.
Stephen sighed and dealt with this sensitive matter in a soft tone

The next morning Michael had his breakfast in his room. Eva wanted to talk to him, but Stephen told her it would be better if he discussed it with him.
Eva left for her new office, as they needed her presence there. The staff welcomed her warmly, and Mr. Miller escorted her to her new cabin. When she entered the cabin of MD, she spotted a big flower bouquet placed on her table.
Eva admired the bouquet and thought maybe Stephen had sent it for her when she observed the bouquet. When closely, a chit got her attention. She picked the chit and read it
