Chapter 21 Exposed
"What?"She asked again, putting down the apple that was in her hand to give me her attention.
I sighed." I think you heard me, Annabelle. I want a divorce." She broke out into fits of laughter, like a person that belonged in the mental institution.
I wouldn't be surprised if I found her in one a couple years in the future.
"You're joking, right?" She asked with a smile on her face.
I shook my head."No."
"You can't divorce me. I thought I made that clear when we got married."She chuckled softly.
She acts like we had a contract that bounded us forever for the rest of our lives.
"I can divorce you and I will. I'm done with you Annabelle and I'm done with your sickening games, " I stated blankly.
"You have no right, you have no right what so ever to divorce me you bastard," She yelled grabbing the nearest plate to her and throwing it on the tiled floor. The plate shattered into so many pieces I lost count." What did I do to deserve this?"
I returned my attention back to her." I know the only reason why you married me was for my money. I know you have been taking money from me little by little in order to run away with Justin." Her eyes widened the size of saucers." I know the only reason why you wanted me to be my family's tribe leader was so you could get more money and more power. I also know you, Luca and Naomi are all behind my sister's breakup with her husband. Is that not enough reason for you because I can go on about how much of a manipulative bitch you are and if you don't give me what I want I will expose you, Luca and Naomi."
She gasped as her hand made its way to her mouth." You wouldn't." She began breathing heavily and the waterworks began right after.
I chuckled softly."I dare you, Annabelle. Test me."I turned around and walked away.
I heard the tapping of heels against the tiled floor which indicated she was following right behind me.
"I won't let you get away with this."She yelled as I pulled the door handle of the garage open and then walked out.
Right, when Christopher left I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Lucas number."We have a situation. Meet me at my house in fifteen minutes," I stated firmly and then closed the phone.
There was no way I was letting Christopher get away with this. He knew too much.
