Chapter 22 Solution

I still can't believe Venus forgave Antonio for disowning their daughter and kicking her out all at once.
How could she be so ignorant. Antonio didn't deserve any forgiveness. He deserved to rot in the deep depths of hell.
If only Venus could see that. If only she could see Antonio was no good for her and that I was her perfect match but she wouldn't even be with me if Antonio wasn't out of the picture, for good.
After three long heart surgeries I was just about the retire for the evening when I received a call from Annabelle in the locker room. Without any thought in the process,I answered
"We have a situation. Meet me at my house in fifteen minutes," She stated firmly and then closed the phone without giving me any chance to answer.
What could possibly be that bad that she called me at 12:30 in the morning. I huffed a deep breathe and headed for the hospitals exit.

I made it to Annabelle's house, sorry mansion in record time. I walked up to the anciently designed, big mahogany door and rung the door bell.
While I was waiting I couldn't help but examine this place throughly. This place was huge. No huge was understatement. I'm pretty sure a whole village can live here and there will still be space for more people to settle in.
Why the hell does she need such a big place for just her and Christopher? I mentally rolled my eyes.
I don't know why I'm shocked, truthfully. She always did this with my parents. Her motto was go big or go home. All her birthdays were as big as weddings and cost ten times more. She went clubbing literally every night and had a new man toy every week. When she dropped out of college it was the last straw for my Dad, so he cut her off completely. Of course Anna was in raged but I believe she deserved it because she wanted to spend without consequences.
That's probably why she trapped Christopher in this marriage, so she can have a never ending bank account and I had to admit she did pick them well because Christopher was that exact definition. And threatening him with the virginity card was even smarter because his Dad was super traditional. He believed man and woman should only lose there virginity after marriage and if Annabelle shed a few tears his Dad would have believed Annabelle despite the fact our families were life long enemies and Christopher knew this fact very well. My sister was a world class actor.
The door finally swung open stealing me from my train of thought." Finally, What took you so long?" I rolled my eyes.
"Don't over exaggerate sis, it only took me half an hour to get here," I stated while walking in." What's so important that you had me come to your house this late in the hour?"
She placed her hands on her hips."Christopher knows everything?" My figure tensed.
My eyebrow quirked up in curiosity."What do you mean? Can you please elaborate?"
There's no way that idiot found out about everything. Maybe I had this wrong.
"He found out that we're responsible for breaking up Venus and Antonio. He knows what each of our motives were," She practically yelled, her face paling by the minute.
You had to be kidding me. Venus will never be with me if she found out I knew about their plan and I stayed quiet the whole time just so I could get with her.
"How?"I yelled, clenching my right fist.
" I have no idea."
I tried to calm down. This wasn't the end of the world. We still had hope.
I pinched the bridge of my nose."As long as he doesn't have the video evidence we're safe. Where is it? Did you burn it yet?" I asked impatiently.
Her eyes widened the size of saucers. She shook her head." I -didn't uh..didn't um..I don't have it," she mumbled.
"What?" I asked, not fully comprehending what she said.
"I don't have it."She was looking everywhere but me.
"How the fuck could you screw up something like this?"I gritted on my teeth.
"When he left, I went to go check for the envelope. It wasn't there. The only possible conclusion is that he took it and that's how he found out," she rambled.
" Annabelle he knows way too much, at any time he can expose all three of us," I stammered looking directly into her brown eyes.
She ran her hands through her hair." What do you propose?"
" We get rid of him for life."
