Chapter 12

Nina

I was getting my pussy ate for the fifth time this morning, and we hadn’t even been up for two hours. Cole was a monster, and he loved the way I tasted. I could tell by the way he stayed locked in, like he couldn’t get enough every time I said, “I’m coming. I’m coming. I’m coming.”

Once I finished on his tongue, he rolled onto his back, satisfied because he had satisfied me.

I truly had fun last night, and I never thought I could have fun with someone else besides Hawk.

“So, do you have plans today, baby?” he asked.

“Not really. I pretty much do what I want every day. My businesses run themselves, but I do step in if need be.”

“I like that. Girls back home don’t really be about their business like they should.

The most motivated female I ever dealt with was a bitch that did hair, and even then, she was always closed on the days she should’ve been open and making money.

She always wanted to be too involved with the crowd and left her business lacking at times. ”

“Yeah, a lot of females are like that.”

I replied, rolling onto his chest.

“Well Nina baby, if you don’t have shit to do today, then you're stuck with me.”

“Says who?”

“Your man, that’s who.” Cole placed a kiss on my lips before he moved me and got out of bed.

I laid there smiling because it felt good to feel wanted again after Hawk.

I’d been down on myself for so long because Hawk didn’t want me, that I really started believing I was actually undesirable, and that is insane with the way I look.

Men call me beautiful anytime I step out of the house, but because the caliber of man I wanted hadn’t approached me yet, I still took those compliments with a grain of salt.

Cole might not be as rich as Hawk or even as fine, but he is already undoing what Hawk did to my pride. That may be what I needed. Someone who would align with what I wanted.

We got dressed, and I put on a pair of jeans and a cropped shirt I’d packed on my quick trip back to one of my penthouses before coming here.

I was never the type to spend the night somewhere and throw on the same clothes.

If I stayed over, best believe I had a to-go bag, or someone was bringing me one.

Once he and I got dressed, he took me downstairs to hop into the back of a black truck driven by one of his homeboy slash drivers.

“So where are we headed?”

“Going to pick up my car.”

“You have a car here?”

“Yeah. Up North Car Detail is the best custom car wrapping company in the country. We are on our way to pick up my car, take it to the freight company, and ship it back home. They have had my car for about three months now, and I'm ready to see it. I paid some good money for it.

“Oh well, yes, they do good work. I had a Bentley wrapped by them back in high school.”

“Damn, your ass was even doing it big in high school. What color did you get it?”

“Pink. Hot pink. You could see me coming down the street from a mile away.”

“As fine as you are, I probably would’ve seen you coming with or without the car.

He kissed my neck.

“But that's what's up. Glad to know you used to shit.”

“Yeah, I am. Used to everything but being treated right.”

“Well, don't worry about that. I got you now.”

Once we pulled up to the Up North warehouse, he grabbed my hand and walked in proudly, like I was a piece of jewelry and a part of his outfit for the day.

“Hello! Welcome to Up North.” We were greeted by the owner.

“What up. I'm Cole. This is my lady, Nina.”

“Yes, Nina, the beautiful Nina. Nice to see you again.”

He recognized me because of my trips in high school, but it was also my several trips with Hawk that really made us familiar with each other. I didn't bother mentioning that to Cole, though.

I was actually glad Carlos knew Hawk because he was known for running his mouth whenever anyone came into his shop. I actually hope that me walking in with another baller got back to Hawk in some kind of way.

“So, where is my whip? Let's see what you've come up with.”

“Of course, let me show you, this way,” Carlos replied.

Carlos walked us to the back and pulled the cover off the car sitting nearest the door.

Underneath the cover, it unveiled a Porsche 911 wrapped in army print, with gold handles and gold rims. It was flashy and looked expensive as hell just from the rims alone.

Would I drive something so flashy? No, but it still screamed that whoever was driving it had money.

“So, what do you think, my friend?” Carlos asked because Cole hadn’t said a word.

“What the fuck do I think?” Cole replied so aggressively that I looked at him, trying to understand where that came from.

“I told you I didn’t want gold handles; I said gold on the panel and gold rims, but with black handles.”

“Are you sure? On the order we wrote down gold door handles, my friend.”

“Are you saying I’m fucking lying? You are really going to argue with me right now and waste more of my fuckin time?”

“I’m not wasting your time, I’m being honest, my friend. We don’t make mistakes at my shop.”

Cole reached into his pants and pulled out a gun, unexpectedly catching me and Carlos off guard.

“Cole, what are you doing?” I asked, completely confused by him pulling out a freaking weapon.

“Listen to me, and listen to me, good nigga. If you don’t get this shit right before I leave Vegas, you are going to have a problem bigger than your fuckin loud ass mouth. I thought the customer was always right!”

“You’re right, you are right,” Carlos said quickly, with his hands up.

“I’ll fix it. I promise I will fix it.”

“Alright, I’ll be back later today, and this shit better be right.”

“Today? I don’t know if I can get the handles changed by then.”

“I said I'll be back today,” Cole cut him off. “I don’t give a fuck what you have to do, make my shit right bitch ass nigga. Now come on, Nina, let’s roll.

” Cole grabbed me by my wrist and led me through the doors to go back to the black truck waiting outside.

His homeboy opened the door for us, and Cole let me slide in first, then climbed in behind me.

As soon as the door closed, I slapped him across the face.

“Girl, what the fuck was that for?” He touched his cheek and looked at me sideways.

“That was because you went in there tripping and pulling out a gun. Don’t do that type of shit with me. I have a business. I have millions of dollars that could be gone if that nigga sues me.”

“Why would he sue you? Sue because I got on his ass?”

“Yes, with a gun. There are other ways to make people listen besides pulling out a fucking gun. All that shit is going to do is land you in jail.”

“That nigga is not going to call the police for that, trust me.”

“You don’t know what he will do. And I’m telling you right now that if you’re going to be doing shit like that, you can take me home and delete my number.”

Cole looked out the window and shook his head.

“Listen. I understand what you’re saying, but you need to hear me out.

You may have your ways of running things, but I have my ways too.

I don’t let anybody play with me. Nobody, so I did what I saw fit.

He was getting ready to fuck me over and try to charge me for a mistake he made, and I had to stop that shit. I know what I told that mutha fucka.”

He leaned closer to my face.

“Look, when people think they can play with you, that’s when they do the grimiest shit to you that you’ve ever heard of. Just like that nigga Hawk or whoever he is, fucked you over.”

“So, what the fuck does that have to do with anything?”

“If you had stood up for yourself a long time ago with that nigga and been about your fuckin respect, then maybe that bullshit wouldn’t have happened to you.

I don’t let anybody play with me, and I’m not about to let anybody play with you either.

My problems are my problems, but yours are mine too.

The same way I handled that motherfucker is how I handle everything in my life.

I get shit done. I get shit accomplished.

And you will reap those same benefits of my protection if we are together. ”

I didn’t interrupt him because I could see how passionate he was about respect, and honestly, I respected that. He made a good point. If I had stood on ten toes with Hawk a long time ago instead of trying to please him, I wouldn’t have run into that sneaky bitch in the first place.

“So, do you get what I’m saying, baby?”

“Yes, I do, Cole. Just make sure shit like that does not happen when I’m around. I would prefer it that way, okay?”

“Okay, I understand, I'm sorry.” He kissed me on my cheek.

Cole's arm wrapped around me, his lips brushing my forehead, his hand rubbing my shoulder like he adored the hell out of me. It was crazy how a man could be a complete lunatic one minute and so soft and gentle with you the next. Not only was that slightly a turn on to my damaged mental, but it also put ideas in my head. Ideas I shouldn’t have but couldn’t help but too.

“Can I ask you a question, Cole?”

“Yeah, shoot it, baby.”

“So, you said anybody that disrespects me disrespects you, right?”

“Right.”

“Okay, so I know it might sound crazy, but I’m still not over what that girl did to me with Hawk.”

He sighed heavily, rubbing his hand across his face.

“Man, why you keep wanting to talk about that nigga?”

“It’s not about him. I’m over him for sure, especially now.”

I grabbed his dick through his pants to stroke his ego.

“Then why can’t you just let them be about their business and let us handle ours? If you over this nigga?”

“Because I can’t stand the thought of her spending money that belongs to me. She was my friend, and she snaked me so bad.”

I lied just a bit while grabbing his chin.

“Alright, so say what you're trying to say, baby?”

“You know.” I took a deep pause, gazing out of the window.

“I can’t even say it out loud because it sounds cruel, and I’m not the kind of girl to do these types of things to people.”

“What kind of things?”

“Bad things.” I bit my lip.

“Well, I’m that kind of guy who doesn't give a fuck, so what do you need to happen? You want me to rob them?”

“No. Robbing them wouldn’t do anything. I already know how Hawk moves, and he does it carefully and doesn’t carry much cash. Taking jewelry or a little money wouldn’t satisfy the anger I have embedded in me anyway.”

“So, what do you want? You want the bitch to die or something?”

I looked him dead in his eyes, because I couldn’t even say it, but those were my thoughts exactly. I’ve wanted Cyn to die ever since she took my man.

“Baby, if you want her or him gone, then just let me know. Don’t hesitate or sugarcoat shit with me. If I’m your nigga you can tell me exactly how you feel. You don’t have to hold yourself back like you once did with that nigga.

“I mean, the day I found out she snaked me, I wished I had the guts to pull the trigger.”

“Well, you don’t need guts because I got all of that. I’ve dropped someone a few times, and taking out some rich bitch definitely won’t move my moral compass one bit.”

He leaned closer.

“So let me know what you need. If you want her gone, she’s as good as ghost, especially for you. I’m trying to build something with us. A lifetime, an empire, so I’ll kill both of them for you.”

He replied, and I took a moment to respond. Almost swallowing the words, I was about to say, but I eventually pushed them out.

“Yes. I want her gone, and only her for right now, but safely. No irrational shit, and I’ll make it worth your while. I promise we will be even happier after that.”

“Alright, say no more, baby.” He put his fingers up like a gun and made a shooting motion. Cole and I started kissing in the car like teenagers, and I eventually climbed on top of him like we weren't in the back seat with his driver.

I’m about to give him more of what he needed to fall even deeper for me to really get my revenge on this bitch.
