Chapter 25
Flynn
It was damn near three in the morning when we got back to Riverton, and we were all exhausted and emotionally drained.
Holden didn’t argue when Bailey said he was going to drive his car back and crash with me, but I saw the twitch next to his eye that said he wasn’t totally happy with the arrangement.
Bailey was his youngest brother—practically like a son to him—and he’d just shacked up with an ex-con. Holden was trying, and hell, he hadn’t fired me or threatened to have me mauled by Axel’s dogs, so I was calling it a win.
Bailey slept in my arms, and in the morning, we had a sleepy make-out session that finished in the shower.
“Not a bad way to start a birthday,” Bailey said with a smile.
“How are you doing?” I asked. “I know how much you care about what Holden thinks.”
Bailey shrugged one shoulder, wearing a pained smile. “I can’t live for him. I have to accept that.”
“No, you can’t,” I agreed, picking up a loofah and rubbing it over his back. “If he loves you as much as I think he does, he doesn’t want you to do that, anyway.”
Bailey nodded, closing his eyes as water poured over a swath of smooth, supple skin.
I could caress him for hours, just pet him and absorb the softness of him, and let it heal old wounds.
There had to be some magical properties running through his veins, because everything was better when he was in my arms.
“So, uh, given what Holden said about no more secrets…”
Bailey turned to face me. “Yeah?”
“Should I tell your brothers about my stepdad? How I…killed him.”
It was still so hard to say it out loud. Even though Bailey already knew.
“Do you want to tell them?”
“Eventually,” I said. “But last night was just a lot. I didn’t want to overcomplicate all that.”
“Yeah.” Bailey smiled wryly. “Holden’s head might have exploded.”
“And today’s your birthday. I really don’t want to ruin that with a bunch of drama.”
“You could never ruin it,” Bailey said. “But yeah, maybe not the best time. Look, you don’t owe them your truth.
Holden was asking me not to keep secrets from him, and I won’t.
But this isn’t about me. You should tell them when you’re ready.
When the time is right for you, okay? My brothers will understand. ”
My stomach tightened with unease. I wasn’t so sure they’d take it as well as Bailey had. He’d already given me his heart when he found out, so he was a biased audience.
I must have looked skeptical because he laughed and kissed me.
“Flynn, you’re not your past, okay? And whatever happens, I love you, and that won’t change.”
I rested my forehead on his shoulder. “I love you too. So much. I’m afraid to lose this.”
“You won’t,” he assured me. “And speaking of my birthday, you’re still coming to Ball Breakers tonight, right? Dinner with my scary brothers?”
I chuckled. “You know I wouldn’t miss it.”
“Good. I’ll have a surprise for you after,” he said.
“But it’s your birthday,” I protested. “Shouldn’t I be the one with the surprise for you?”
He smiled enigmatically. “You can give me anything you want, but please know that you’re already everything I want.”
I kissed him for a long time then, heart near bursting, and went to my knees to show my full appreciation for the beautiful soul who’d chosen to love me.
Bailey’s head thumped against the back of the shower. I was nowhere near ready to go again, but he was twenty, and he had the recovery time to match. His cock thickened on my tongue, growing hard as steel as I laved it with my tongue, then sucked him deep.
“Fuck,” he whispered. “That’s so good. I want to fuck you again. Can we do that?”
I swallowed around the cock in my mouth, remembered the way it felt spreading me, filling me, punching deep and hard. Hell yeah.
I drew back and swiped the water from my face. “Anything you want, birthday boy.”
“It’s not only because it’s my birthday, right?”
I smiled. “No, baby. I’d let you inside me any day of the year.”
He laughed a little. “Well, hopefully, you can get inside me at some point too.”
“If that’s what you want.”
His eyes flared with heat. “Oh, yeah. I do. I want to feel you deep in me. Want you to pin me down and just fucking take everything, you know?”
I groaned, my cock plumping at his words. Maybe I could go again. “Don’t tease me, babe. I want that too.”
He bit his bottom lip. “Tonight?”
I pushed to my feet and grasped his face, kissing him hard, sucking the moisture from those succulent lips, and drinking down his needy sounds.
“Only if you’re ready,” I rasped. “You know I’ll take you any way I can get you.”
“Mm.” His eyes were glazed. “I’ll be ready. But for now…”
I turned off the faucet and reached for the towel. “Let’s move this to the bed.”
We dried off quickly, our skin still tacky as we came together in the middle of my bed. Bailey was heat and intensity, cock urgently hard against my thigh.
I got on my knees, taking hold of the headboard, and glanced over my shoulder. “Supplies are in the nightstand.”
Bailey grabbed what he needed, lubed up his fingers, and slipped one in. I closed my eyes, relaxing, letting him loosen me with far more finesse than the first time we’d done this.
He really was a quick study.
Bailey made a meal of my neck and shoulders while he fucked my hole loose with his fingers, then notched his cockhead into place.
“Ready for me?” he murmured into my ear.
“Always.”
He pushed in, much more slowly and gently. Maybe we’d taken the edge off in the shower earlier. Maybe he’d just learned a little something from our first time together. Either way, he had found the perfect tempo to spread and fill me.
My body warmed, bloomed like flower petals, opening for him.
When Bailey was in balls-deep, he grasped my pecs and squeezed. “Fuck, you feel so good.”
I trembled a little, pinned as I was to the headboard. It was rare for me to feel vulnerable or weak, but something about this position did it.
“Love you,” I murmured.
“Oh, I fucking love you too,” he practically growled just before he drew back and slammed into me.
I cried out as the shock reverberated through my body. Bailey might not have my girth, but goddamn, the man knew how to move.
He fucked me hard and fast, then slowed to a sweet, languorous pace that had me begging.
“Need more,” I said with a groan. “Please, please, Bails. Take me hard.”
“Fuck yeah,” he whispered, as if that’s what he’d been waiting for. He snapped his hips, his stamina seemingly unending.
My body lit up as he hit my prostate.
“Yes!” I reached down, grabbing my dick and stroking as the pressure mounted. “Fuck, baby,” I gasped. “So good.”
“Yeah.” He breathed harshly near my ear. “Gonna make you come first this time. Do it, Flynn. Fucking do it.”
He bit down on my shoulder, the flash of pain just what I needed to fly apart. I shouted as my cock pulsed in my fist.
“Thank fuck,” Bailey mumbled before he went rigid, shuddering, flooding the condom as he pushed as deep as he could get inside me.
Like he wanted to stay there forever.
And I’d let him, if I could. Anything to have the sweet, warm contentment that Bailey gave me. The feeling that with him, I really could shed my past and start new, fresh and untainted by life’s ugly mistakes.
Bailey and I napped, had lunch, and then I sent him on his way to see his brothers and friends with a promise to meet up for his birthday dinner.
It was tempting to keep him all to myself for the weekend, but he needed some bonding time with his brothers—and especially with Holden.
I had the Redemption Road meeting. Thankfully, Snake wasn’t there. Then I headed over to Ball Breakers, meeting up with Bailey and his family outside.
“Hey, Flynn, I didn’t know you were coming,” Gray said in surprise.
“No one ever tells me anything,” Axel complained.
I cast a confused look at Holden. He shrugged and smiled. “It’s not my news to share.”
“What news?” Emory asked, looking painfully curious. Shiloh just smiled. Clearly, he’d gotten the inside scoop.
“Surprise!” Bailey said. “I got a boyfriend for my birthday.”
Gray’s eyes widened and flicked to me. “Flynn?”
“Yep,” Bailey said, sounding proud. “He’s fucking perfect, so keep your trap shut unless you have nice things to say.”
“Only nice things,” Axel said, leaning forward to slap Bailey’s arm. “Way to go, baby bro. You’re finally a man.” He pretended to wipe away a tear.
Bailey groaned. “Please stop.”
Axel smirked. “Can’t a guy just be happy that his little brother is finally getting some?”
Holden grimaced. “All right, enough of that. Let’s go inside and sit down. Shiloh’s freezing over here.”
Shiloh was, in fact, shivering quietly.
“Me too,” Emory agreed, reaching for the door. “We can tease Bailey about his big, hot boyfriend inside where it’s warm.”
The boyfriends led the way inside, Gray, Axel, and Holden following.
“Where’s your man?” Bailey asked Axel as we went in behind them. “I owe him a thank-you for last night.”
“He should be here soon. Why? What did he do?”
“He got them to pull me out of the cell,” Bailey said. “I got to hang out in the break room.”
“And they decided not to charge him,” Holden added as he pulled out a chair at two tables pushed together in the center of the room. “They told me when I tried to bail you out. Wasn’t necessary.”
Bailey blew out a big breath. “Well, that’s a fucking relief.”
“Yes, it is,” Holden said. “You got lucky.”
“What exactly happened, anyway?” Gray asked as he and Emory took their seats.
Bailey sank into the chair I pulled out for him, and then I sat down beside him.
“I did some work on this street racer’s car,” Bailey said. “He’s the guy in that pool video that went viral.”
“The one you stomped?” Axel asked with a laugh.
“Yeah. He was pissed. Tried to jump me in the parking lot. I did some fast talking about helping him with his car, and then…” He scrunched up his face. “I kinda got addicted.”
