Chapter 10 #2
“Yeah, so. I plan to do it again soon. I want you so full of my cum that everyone within a fifty-mile radius with a cock knows you’re mine.”
His voice was growly, and she saw his eyes flash amber.
“You don’t wanna put your mouth there with your … you know.” She tried to say with her eyes what she was too embarrassed to voice aloud.
“The fuck I don’t,” Monster snapped his left arm forward, pulling the ring free from the wooden bed frame. The hand went to her throat, and he spoke with finality. “Pixie, there will never come a time that I don’t want to feast on your beautiful pussy.”
His words, the hand on her throat, the husk in his voice—they were a trinity of arousal. Carys did another thing she’d never done, at least not in front of anyone else.
One hand found her clit and started the perfect rhythm. One she knew would push her over the edge in under thirty seconds, especially with his body under hers.
“Fuck, Pixie. That’s hot.” She kept her eyes on his face, while he was intently watching her fingers. She wanted to touch him, but she was so far up his chest that trying to give him a hand job behind her back with any finesse would be impossible.
Her fingers sped up, and in no time, she came. A whispered, “Arden,” left her lips as there was a pounding on the door.
Carys squeaked and half jumped, half tumbled backward off Monster, landing on his legs and bed.
Monster barked a curse. She understood why—she felt his dick at her back as she forced it backward. That caused her to laugh hard. With equal parts concern and mirth, she tried to ask if he was okay.
“Yeah,” he shouted at the door while he grabbed the little bag and handed it to Carys. Understanding his meaning, she unlocked the cuff at the headboard before unlocking the other one and removing it from his wrist.
“Pigs at the gate,” someone yelled through the door. “Asking for you by your government name.”
“Gimme two, Prez.”
Monster strode to the dresser. After pulling a fresh pair of jeans from a drawer, he donned a black tee.
Sitting on the foot of the bed, he pulled on his boots.
He stood and shrugged on his cut, before turning to her.
“This will only take me a few minutes. Then I want to tongue-fuck that sweet cunt.”
He kissed her hard and left the room.
The second he was gone; she jumped up herself and hastily got dressed. Cops at the clubhouse looking for Monster couldn’t be a coincidence. Either something went wrong with their story or the clean-up, and she refused to let Monster or his club pay more than they already had because of her father.
Carys didn’t have a clue what she could do, but she had to try.
When she walked through the main area, it was all but deserted, so no one tried to stop her.
Opening the door, she made her way toward the front but stopped to take in the scene.
Monster and his president stood just inside the gate, arms folded across their chests in similar stances. Todd and his partner stood just outside.
Todd was yelling and pointing at Monster, while Officer Davis seemed to be trying to diffuse the situation.
What the hell?
Had he gone back to the house and realized something was amiss? If that were the case, he’d be looking for her, not Monster.
Their voices rose, and she could hear them from the corner of the building where she stood, trying to decide her best move.
“You talk a big game from the other side of a fence,” Todd taunted.
Monster laughed. That was his response, just a laugh. It sent the clear message that Todd and authority in general didn’t intimidate him.
She shifted her gaze to Todd. He was beyond pissed.
If someone had told her back when she first got engaged to him that Todd lost his temper, she would’ve laughed in their face.
Todd was even. Not too passionate about anything, never overly emotional, just very even.
However, once she moved in with him, she’d been shown how wrong she’d been.
But the version of Todd outside the gate, he was worse than that even.
“Why don’t you come with me to the station, and we can handle it there,” Todd gritted the words out as if he was having a devil of a time controlling himself.
Carys shifted her attention to his partner, who laid her hand on his arm, leaning in close to say something just for his ears. He shot her a death glare, then shook her hand off so violently that she stumbled away, barely maintaining her balance.
Definitely more than work colleagues.
“Do you have an arrest warrant for him?” Prowler asked. “Until you do, he’s not going anywhere with you. If there’s anything further, you can contact his lawyer,” Prowler held out a white card, feeding it through the fence.
Todd leaned into the fence and spoke to Monster, ignoring the card.
“Stay away from my fiancé or I’ll be back … and I’ll be taking one of your fucking criminals with me every time I do.”
Carys was shocked, but she didn’t miss the hurt and anger that crossed his partner’s face before she turned on her heels and strode back to the squad car.
The situation was out of control. She had to do something before Monster or his club suffered anymore because of her. She stormed toward the fence, but her approach was shielded from Todd’s view by the Kings broad backs.
“Smile, Officer Glenn, you’re on Candid Camera,” Prowler said as he pointed toward the guard shack.
She couldn’t see Todd’s face, but she could imagine it. He’d basically admitted to a camera that he wasn’t there on official police business, but he was pretending to be.
Monster stepped closer to the fence, nose to nose with her ex, and growled at Todd. “She’s not your anything, pig. She’s mine, and I protect what’s mine. If I see you again, I’ll consider that a direct threat and react accordingly.”
Carys got to Monster’s side just in time to see him spit through the fence into Todd’s face.
“You fucking s—” Todd raged, but when his eyes landed on her, he abruptly stopped. His entire attitude shifted in less than a second.
“Carys, sweetheart. What are you doing here?” His tone was sickly sweet; it was that total shift that was scary though.
Even his eyes went from furious to happy, his posture more relaxed.
Todd was literally two different people.
“Why don’t you head over to your place, and you can get packed up. I can arrange for movers tomorrow after our cake tasting.”
“Movers? Cake tasting?” What was he talking about?
“Oh, yes. I called that bakery you loved, and they can fit us in for a cake tasting tomorrow.”
He rubbed the back of his neck in a shy way she used to find attractive, but now it was scary as shit. “I wanted to show you I can share the burden of planning our big day,”
Carys’s face went pale; he was fucking delusional. Monster wrapped his arm around her, shifting her behind him as much as he could with her clinging on for dear life.
Monster rattled the gate, demanding Todd’s attention. “If you don’t leave right fucking now, I will grant your fucking death wish.” Monster spoke with an air of calm menace.
Todd glared at Monster before shifting his focus back to Carys. “Are—”
“No,” Monster roared. “You don’t look at her, you don’t talk to her, you don’t even fucking think about her.”
There was more to Monster’s threat, she was sure. But it was his partner’s pained voice that caught their attention.
“You promised.” At some point she must’ve came back from the car, but Carys hadn’t noticed her standing there. She was too caught up in Todd’s craziness to care.
Todd looked from his partner, then back to Carys. “Fine,” he mumbled before dropping his voice to a whisper that was almost inaudible. “Melody, it is.”
Turning on his heel and catching Melody by her elbow, he practically dragged her to the car.
Carys let out a shaky breath, and Monster wrapped her in his warm embrace.
“That … that is not the same man I knew.” Even she heard the disbelief in her voice.
“Yeah,” Prowler agreed. “That one isn’t done. We need to bring this to the table ASAP.”
Monster raised his chin as Prowler pulled his phone from his pocket and strode toward the door.
Monster turned Carys in his arms. After he kissed her thoroughly, he held her throat in that way he did. “Next time I tell you to stay, you stay.”
“You didn’t tell me to stay, but even if you had, this is my mess and I can’t let you—”
He shut her up with another bruising kiss. “Ours. Got it? There is no yours or mine, it’s ours. Besides, that fucker is an annoyance, nothing more.”
Carys thought there was a touch of uncertainty in his eyes, but she let it go.
“Come on, Pixie. I don’t think we finished what we started.” He led her back inside and to his bed.
Monster had taken her six ways to Sunday, and she’d taken him. Since only one eye hook was left in the headboard, they made do. She felt so powerful with him restrained and dying to touch her. It wasn’t the cuff that did it. It was how absolutely feral he got when she touched and teased him.
The man could snap his fingers and have any woman he wanted, but he wanted her—her. That was power, one she vowed she’d never abuse.
Carys was awakened from her sex-induced coma to Monster getting dressed. The sun was peeking through the window between the blind slats.
“I’ve got church. After, do you want to grab a bite?”
Stretching, she relished the slight soreness she felt in her muscles. They’d gotten pretty acrobatic last night. She made a mental note to start working out if she had a chance to keep up with him.
“Can’t.” She threw the sheet off. “I wanna go see my mom.”
Monster frowned. “Grab Zach to go with you.”
She rolled her eyes, and Monster got that wicked gleam in his before he grabbed her throat.
“Did you just roll your eyes at me?” he asked with feigned indignation.
It felt good, she couldn’t lie, but she was feeling cheeky.
“Is holding my throat like your wooby or something? Because you seem obsessed with it.”
There it was. That rare Arden smile he was so stingy with. He stared intently at his thumb as is caressed her pulse.
“I can feel your heart here.” He tightened his grip and slowly mimicked the sound of her pulse. “It’s like I’m touching your very essence. It flows under my fingers but eventually returns to your heart. I’m touching your heart and yeah, Pixie, it soothes something inside of me. Ulf too.”
She reared back out of his hold. “Say it.”
“Say what?”
“Say I’m your wooby,” she teased. “I wanna hear it.”
Monster stepped back and shouldered on his cut. “Only if you say you’re my ol’ lady.”
“I’m already your mate.” She turned to her shoulder where her mark seemed to sense Monster near. He stepped up and kissed it, wrenching a moan from her throat.
“Not enough. Say you’re my ol’ lady.”
Carys grabbed him by the cut, pulling herself up on her tiptoes to peer up at him. “You go first.”
He let out a frustrated growl.
“You’re my wooby,” he said through gritted teeth. “Now say it.”
She threw her arms around his neck and spoke with a haughty, bored tone. “Fine, I’m your ol’ lady.” But she felt anything but bored. She was giddy. Monster still hadn’t said the three words she wanted to hear, but he’d said them in other ways. So many ways.
Now I just have to win his club over if I have a shot at that happily ever after. Considering who her father was, that was going to be an uphill battle for sure.
She couldn’t wait to share the news about her and Monster with her mom.
Thinking of her mom soured her mood.
“Hey, babe. What’s that look for?” He lifted her chin with his knuckle.
“My mom. I don’t know what I’ll do …” Threatening tears choked off her words.
It looked like Monster had something to say but held back.
“Spend the day with your mom, and I’ll meet you there after church. But Zach is going with you.”
A smile broke through her sadness. “Really? You want to meet my mom?” That meant something to her.
“Of course, babe. I wanna meet the lady who put razor blades on a classic car.”
Carys jumped into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist. “I love you, Arden.” Monster’s eyes flashed with his wolf, and he kissed her soundly. She couldn’t resist rubbing herself against his denim-clad erection. Just as she thought he would take her back to bed, he ended the kiss.
“If you don’t stop rubbing that sweet pussy of yours against me, Prez is going to strip my patch for missing church.”
She pouted but untangled herself from his sexy frame and padded into the bathroom to take a shower.
“Fine, but you owe me one,” she said over her shoulder, catching his grin as he left.
