Chapter 12 – Jasper
“How’s he doing?” Kimber asks as she hands me a mug and pulls out the seat opposite me.
“Pissed,” I reply.
“He has every right to be. If I ever see that bitch, well, I’m not going to be responsible for my actions,” Kimber states.
Charmaine had been wrong, and it hadn’t gone away as quickly as we’d hoped.
Otis’s clean-cut image was going against him.
The press suddenly had this piece of gossip, and had run with it.
They had even gone searching for some of his previous girlfriends.
There weren’t many, which pleases me more than I was willing to admit, but each of them stood behind Otis.
They all said that his only downfall was how much he loved racing.
Other than that they describe him as a true gentleman.
“You know, I have loved having you both here the last few days, so you are welcome to stay however long you want,” Kimber adds.
“I think that Otis has enjoyed being here,” I reply. Watching the friendship blossom between Kimber and Otis had been heartwarming. “Not sure how I feel about him getting involved in the business.”
“You’re kidding right? Considering I thought he was just a petrol head, only interested in cars and racing, he has come up with some brilliant ideas for this place. Plus, I think the clients like having that chance to see a celebrity.”
“I’m not a celebrity.” Otis’s voice sounds from the doorway.
Shit, I had wanted to get back to bed before Otis woke up.
After last night, I didn’t want him to find the bed empty.
Last night we had played with the butt plug some more.
I had tied him to the bed and teased him.
Last night for the first time, Otis had disobeyed an order, and so I had denied him his orgasm.
It was one of our most intense and wonderful scenes to date.
“Sorry, I was coming back to bed,” I say quickly as I get to my feet and rush over to him and place a quick kiss on his lips.
“It’s okay,” Otis says.
“No, it’s not. I’m not taking care of you,” I tell him.
“Believe me, you are,” Otis says.
“Guys, no offence, but I don’t need a front row seat to your sex life,” Kimber says over to us. “Coffee, Otis?”
“Thanks Kim,” Otis replies.
“Um, Kim. Since when are we shortening names?” I ask, looking between the two of them.
“Since we became friends,” Kimber retorts back, and when I look over to Otis he’s smirking at me.
Otis pulls out the chair next to me and sits down, and I don’t miss the small wince he makes.
Otis has taken to his training beautifully; in fact I don’t even think of it as training anymore.
He has listened to all my instructions. When he’s in submissive mode, he’s simply spectacular, but I still haven’t been able to take that next step with him.
When we were at his mum’s, Otis was okay with us playing with the plug, and giving each other silent blow jobs, but at Kimber’s, Otis was different.
I know that it was the surroundings. The fact that most nights you could hear what was going on in other rooms. Kimber could never completely soundproof the rooms.
“Actually Otis, I wanted to talk to you,” Kimber says as I take my seat next to Otis. “One of the clients is a lawyer, a good one. He has offered to look into the ex for you.”
“What’s the point? If I take any legal action it gives her more limelight. I don’t want to do that. I just want her to go away and leave me alone,” Otis adds.
“I’m not sure that’s going to happen any time soon,” Kimber says gently, “and I want to make sure that you’re protected. You’re important to us.”
Yes, Kimber has really taken to Otis. I’m not sure if I should be concerned that in the space of almost a month Otis has become this important, not just for me but for Kimber too. She has already told me on multiple occasions that I’m not to let him go, ever.
“I think I’m going up for a shower,” Otis says as he gets up, picks up the coffee mug and walks out of the room. I notice that he hasn’t responded to Kimber’s words. I think that the whole situation is getting to him more than he’s letting on.
Kimber waits for a few minutes before looking over to me. “You haven’t had sex yet, have you?”
“We’ve had plenty of sex,” I tell her, but I know what she’s going on about.
“You know what I mean. What the fuck is holding you back? I don’t think I have ever seen you hold back this much.”
“You’re sounding like Marcus,” I retort.
“It’s because both of us have never seen you like this,” Kimber tells me. “So, you going to tell me what the fuck is going on? Is he not that good in the bedroom? I could have sworn I heard you the other night and it sounded like you were enjoying yourself.”
“Seriously. You’re my sister. I can’t believe that you just said that.” Wishing that the ground would open up and swallow me whole, because she isn’t wrong. What Otis can do with his mouth? Well, I’m getting hard just thinking about it.
“And? Sex is a beautiful thing. Hell, I made a business out of it and it’s not the first time I have heard you. I think your problem is who I heard you with. You care for Otis, a lot.”
“Otis is becoming very special,” I confirm, because there is no point in lying to her.
“So what?” Kimber pushes.
“It’s just…” I start.
“Oh fuck, this is because of that prick Clive. Isn’t it?” Kimber says.
“No.” But now I am lying.
“Jasper. Otis is nothing like Clive. He is in fact the polar opposite. He introduced you to his mum, after what, three weeks? You have in theory been living with him for the last week and yet you still hold back.”
“What if he hates it? What if he then decides that this isn’t for him?” Voicing the doubt that has been gnawing at the back of my mind.
“Sometimes Jasper, you really are a twat,” Kimber retorts.
“Hey!”
“Look, there is no simple way to say this, but he has had your dick in his mouth and from the wincing I have seen, you have had some arse play and he is still here. He wants you. That is crystal clear. You are the one risking this, if you don’t get your head out of your arse.”
“You think he could leave because of me?” It never occurred to me that my actions could be the one thing that pushes him away.
“No I don’t, because that man is completely besotted with you. But he will start to question what you think this is. To Otis, this is a relationship. You’re his boyfriend, but he will question if you just see him as a sub. Someone to have some fun with.”
“But he is my boyfriend.” And the word falling from my mouth pulls me up short. This is the first time that I have called him that. It’s the first time that I have said this word out loud.
“Finally,” Kimber mutters. “Now, I’m going out for a few hours. The house will be empty. Do you have to go into the office today? Does Otis?”
“Vincent has told him to stay away for a few more days. I have only been going in because no one knows about me and Otis,” I tell her.
“Give me your phone, unlocked please,” Kimber demands, and I hesitate. “That wasn’t a question.”
Pulling out my phone, I unlock it and hand it over to Kimber, who taps the screen before putting the phone to her ear.
“Mr Montague, my name is Kimber Knight, Jasper’s sister.
” And I’m getting out of my chair, trying to grab the phone out of her hand.
What the fuck is she up to? But she manages to side step me and now the table is in between us.
“I apologise for being the one to call, but Jasper isn’t feeling too well.
” Kimber stops talking while Vincent replies to her.
“That was my thinking too, Mr Montague. With Australia coming up I wanted him to rest and make sure that he is fully fit for travel.” Kimber stops again.
“Oh no, there is no need to send a doctor to his place, I made him stay with me. I’m sure that in a few days he will be fine. ”
Oh I am going to kill her once she is off the phone. I can’t believe that she just called in sick for me. I’m sure that Vincent is not going to be impressed. I haven’t even been with the company for a year.
“Thanks Vincent,” Kimber adds. “I’ll make sure that Jasper or myself will keep you updated. I know that Jasper feels that he has let you down.” Kimber stops talking again and now I wish I had demanded she had put him on speaker. “Oh, thank you. I will tell him. That will make him feel better. Bye.”
Kimber hangs up the call and hands me back my phone.
“I can’t believe that you just did that,” I say.
“Vincent is really cool. You really need to introduce us. He told me to tell you that your health comes first, and to get better soon.”
“Vincent?” I question.
“Yeah, he told me to call him Vincent,” Kimber says, “that Jasper’s sister didn’t need to be so formal. So now that you have the day off and the house to yourselves, maybe go and show your boyfriend just how important he is.”
“But he’s sore,” I counter.
“Why not ask Otis what he can cope with? He might not be as sore as you think? If you’re still not ready, spend some time with him, but more importantly talk to him. Communication is key.”
“I will talk to him. Thanks Kim,” I say, shortening her name just like Otis.
“Hey, it’s Kimber.”
“So Otis can call you Kim, but I can’t?” I state, giving her a smile.
“Well I like Otis,” Kimber replies, and is still chuckling to herself as she leaves the kitchen, before she shouts, “have fun, little brother.”
I know that I’m going to have to talk to Otis. Talk to him about my fears. Tell him why I’m holding back, but my God I am nervous. What will he think? In every other aspect of my life I am confident.
“Where’s Kimber?” Otis’s voice sounds, making me jump. I hadn’t heard him come back into the kitchen.
“She’s popped out,” I tell him.
“Okay. What about you? I’m guessing that you need to get to HQ?” Otis asks as he takes the seat next to me again.
“Actually no,” I start. “Kimber called in sick for me.”
“But you aren’t sick?”
“No I’m not. Kimber wanted us to spend some time alone together,” I explain.
