THE IMPOSSIBLE BOND
The world seemed to stop.
Aria stared at the Alpha King, certain she had heard him wrong.
His… mate?
The words echoed through the clearing, leaving the entire pack frozen in disbelief.
For several long seconds, no one reacted.
Then the whispers began.
“That’s impossible…”
“A wolf can’t have two mates.”
“The Moon Goddess would never make such a mistake.”
Even the Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack looked stunned.
Kael’s expression turned sharp.
“What kind of game are you playing?” he demanded.
The Alpha King remained completely calm.
“This is no game.”
His golden eyes moved briefly to Aria again.
She still looked pale from the pain of the rejection, her breathing uneven as she tried to recover.
The Alpha King noticed immediately.
His expression darkened slightly.
The pain of a rejected mate bond was never small.
Especially when it happened so publicly.
Kael stepped forward again, his voice colder now.
“You’re saying the Moon Goddess gave you my rejected mate?”
The Alpha King raised one brow slightly.
“That is one way of putting it.”
Kael’s jaw tightened.
“But I felt the bond with her first.”
“Yes,” the Alpha King replied.
“And you broke it.”
Those three words carried quiet finality.
The crowd shifted uncomfortably.
Several wolves were now watching Aria with entirely different expressions.
A moment ago, she had been the rejected girl.
Now the Alpha King himself was claiming her as his mate.
Aria could barely process what was happening.
Her chest still ached from the broken bond with Kael.
But beneath that pain…
Something else had begun to stir.
A strange warmth.
Much stronger than before.
Her fingers pressed lightly against her chest again.
It felt different.
Deeper.
Like a second heartbeat slowly awakening inside her.
The Alpha King noticed the small movement.
His golden gaze softened slightly.
“You feel it, don’t you?” he asked quietly.
Aria looked up at him, confused.
“I… I don’t understand.”
Before he could answer—
Lila’s voice cut through the clearing.
“This is ridiculous!”
Everyone turned.
Lila stepped forward, her face flushed with anger.
“This girl is wolfless,” she said sharply. “She can’t possibly be the Alpha King’s mate.”
Her words carried the same cruel certainty many in the pack had believed for years.
Several wolves nodded slightly.
The Alpha King slowly turned his gaze toward her.
The temperature in the clearing seemed to drop instantly.
His golden eyes were suddenly cold.
“Be careful with your words,” he said quietly.
Lila stiffened.
But her pride pushed her forward.
“With respect, Alpha King,” she said, “everyone in this pack knows she has no wolf. The Moon Goddess wouldn’t give someone like her to the most powerful Alpha alive.”
A heavy silence followed.
Aria lowered her gaze again.
She had heard those same words countless times growing up.
But before the silence could stretch further—
The Alpha King suddenly stepped closer to her.
His large hand gently lifted her chin.
The touch was surprisingly careful.
Not forceful.
Not rough.
Aria froze as his golden eyes studied her face closely.
Something ancient flickered within his gaze.
“Who told you that you have no wolf?” he asked softly.
Aria blinked in confusion.
“That’s… what everyone says.”
The Alpha King’s expression turned thoughtful.
Then slowly—
A faint smile appeared on his lips.
“That,” he said quietly, “is because your wolf hasn’t awakened yet.”
Gasps spread through the clearing.
Even Kael’s eyes narrowed.
“Impossible,” someone whispered.
But the Alpha King’s attention remained on Aria.
“There are rare wolves whose power sleeps longer than others,” he continued.
His thumb brushed lightly against her cheek as he spoke.
“And when they finally awaken…”
His golden eyes gleamed under the moonlight.
“…they shake the entire werewolf world.”
The crowd stared at him in stunned silence.
Then suddenly—
A sharp pulse of energy exploded from Aria’s chest.
She gasped loudly as a powerful heat surged through her body.
The ground beneath her feet trembled slightly.
Lantern flames flickered wildly around the clearing.
Every wolf felt it.
A burst of raw, untamed power.
Aria’s eyes widened in fear.
“What’s happening to me?”
But the Alpha King didn’t look worried.
Instead…
He looked satisfied.

STOP SCROLLING.
Yes… YOU. ??
You’ve been reading silently, screaming at my characters, catching feelings, getting angry… and yet, we’ve never actually talked.
Doesn’t that feel… wrong? ??
I’m done with that.
I want more than readers.
I want a circle. A space. A little chaos-filled family where we can be unfiltered, loud, and completely ourselves ????
So I created a private WhatsApp group… not for everyone, just for those who really want to be part of us.
And here’s the catch—
I can’t drop the link here.
So if you want in…
DROP YOUR NUMBER
I’ll be the one adding you myself. Personally.
Inside?
?? Raw story discussions (even the crazy theories ??)
?? Real-time reactions and spoilers
?? A chance to promote your own stories/groups
?? And a space where you’re not just a reader… you matter
But don’t take too long…
Not everyone gets in ????
I’m watching. I’m waiting.
Are you coming… or staying silent? ??
