Chapter 9 Late Night Talk

"Uh-huh." I responded instinctively, standing awkwardly aside.

"Sit, I'll change clothes."

"Huh?"

I was stunned, Lu Xuchen ignored me.

He went straight to the storage room behind the store to change.

I didn't understand why he changed clothes at this time.

Half an hour later.

He finally came out.

Changed into a suit, specially styled his hair.

Refined and handsome.

He pulled a chair for me to sit.

"No need, I'll leave soon."

"Soon?" Lu Xuchen seemed displeased, obviously not satisfied with this answer, "Last time didn't get to say, can you stay a bit?"

"Okay then."

"By the way, what's your name?"

"Shen Yixin."

A light laugh came to my ear.

He smiled and said, "Nice name."

Today his temper was restrained a lot, speech became polite.

I felt a bit flattered, but still panicked.

I glanced at him carefully.

Lu Xuchen was tall and slim, also tall in height.

The dim yellow light shone on him, as if plated with light.

"By the way, money for you."

I took out cash from my bag, put it on the table aside.

"Meal money, I forgot to give you."

Seeing my evasive eyes, Lu Xuchen stared at me.

Suddenly pulled his lips and laughed, "You afraid of me?"

"Not really, just... you're too handsome, I dare not look."

The amusement in Lu Xuchen's eyes deepened.

"Look as you like. Couldn't contact you, thought you disappeared, had to post a notice at the door. You won't blame me?"

So it wasn't a wanted poster.

"No, no. But..."

I tilted my head, puzzled, "We never added each other on WeChat. How could you have contacted me anyway?"

Lu Xuchen's expression froze slightly.

A few seconds later, he realized something.

"Oh, forgot to say, you probably don't know my identity yet."

Identity?

I felt half confused and half understanding, but his voice seemed more familiar than ever—it was exactly like the strange call from Master tonight.

I looked up, asked Lu Xuchen joyfully:

"You know my Master?"
