Chapter 69

CHAPTER

SIXTY-NINE

DARE

“Harder,” she demands, but I don’t give it to her.

I grip her hair harder, but I’m not fucking her harder. Not right now. Pulling her head back, I look down between us. I watch as my cock moves in and out of her sweet pussy. She stretches for my invasion. I don’t think there’s a prettier sight in the world than how she takes me.

“Please,” she whimpers.

I laugh softly, folding over her back. My lips touch the side of her neck, and I reach out, lacing my fingers with hers as she grips the headboard. Her body trembles, and I know that she’s close, but I also know that she needs more. Just a little more, but more nonetheless.

“Let go, sweetheart,” I murmur against her neck.

She does, gasping when I guide her hand between her legs. Without hesitation, I feel her fingers move against her clit, rubbing circles there, and I can’t move my hand. Straightening my back slightly, I give myself just enough space so I can continue to move inside her.

I don’t fuck her hard and fast the way my body and hers crave.

This isn’t a fast fuck. This is taking my time and showing her just how I feel about her while also caring for the life inside her.

I don’t know much about babies and pregnancy, but I’m not going to fuck her so hard she’s seeing stars when she’s growing a life inside her belly.

“Amos,” she cries, and I feel her pussy flutter around me

Sinking my teeth into the skin of her cheek, I roll the flesh back and forth as I move, climbing higher myself. I’m close, too. So goddamn fucking close. I can feel my lower back tingle and my balls begin to draw up. I try to bite back the release, try to rein in the control, but it slips.

“Fuck, you feel so damn good, Skel. Are you going to come all over me?” I ask in hopes that she does… soon. “Keep playing with that pretty clit, sweetheart. Bring yourself to the edge. Fall over for me.”

She does.

And when she does, her cry echoes around my room, and I have no doubt that it was heard in the hall and possibly in the bar, too. I’m not mad about that. In fact, I think that’s goddamn fantastic.

She hangs onto the headboard with one hand, the other still between her legs, and I feel her muscles twitch as she whimpers. I don’t stop fucking her, though. Slow and steady, consuming her the way she always seems to consume me.

Then my orgasm begins to take over. I feel her cunt squeeze and release, pulsing around me, and it draws my own orgasm. I thrust in and out of her a few more times before I bury myself deep inside her and allow myself to come, filling her with my release.

Chassis trembles beneath me, and I know she can’t hold my weight much longer.

As much as I want to stay where I am, I gently ease myself out of her body and lie on my back beside her.

I wrap my arms around her, guiding her against my side with her belly resting against me and her arm sliding around my waist.

“I love you, Amos. I fell in love with you before I ever saw you. The moment I found out you were willing to marry me, to take us on—and then again when you said you would protect and provide for me, asking nothing in return.”

I grunt at her words. While I was saying all those things to her, all I could think about was how much I wanted to be inside her—right where I am at this moment. I don’t say that, though, and she continues.

“Then I fell in love with you again when I discovered your heart, your soul, and your true kindness.”

“You need to stop,” I growl.

“Never,” she whispers.

Turning my head, I touch my mouth to the top of her hair, closing my eyes as I inhale her scent.

She falls asleep almost instantly. I can feel the weight of her the moment she drifts off into dreamland.

I’m glad for it. She needs her sleep. She’s been through a lot the past few weeks and needs to recover.

When I know for certain she’s deep in sleep, I slip out from beneath her body and grab a pair of jeans from the floor before heading for a drink.

Walking out into the bar, I look around and am surprised to see Cake sitting at the end, a beer in one hand. I head toward him and climb onto the stool next to him, motioning to the prospect for a drink.

“Whiskey,” I call out.

He dips his chin, and a few seconds later, there is a glass of whiskey in front of me, the bottle next to it. I jerk my chin in a silent thanks, then clear my throat before I swallow the contents, then pour another.

“It’s been a tough road,” Cake mutters.

“It has,” I agree.

“Gonna get tougher. A baby, a wife, the Russians, and not to mention that asshole in your back building.”

I snort, lifting the glass to my lips before I swallow the second shot. “Yeah,” I murmur. “Baby and the wife ain’t tough at all, brother. Russians can be reasonable,” I state.

“The asshole?” he asks.

Turning my head, I look at him. I know what he wants, and while I want to be the one who does it, I decide to let my father-in-law handle it. “Let’s go take care of that, Cake.”

“Yeah?” he asks.

“He’s yours to deal with. Consider it a thank-you for letting me claim your daughter.”

It’s Cake’s turn to snort out a laugh. “If she didn’t want it, she’d let me know. Seems like it was a good fit. And I know if you fuck it up, I’ll be right here to take care of it.”

He has no fucking clue. I would never fuck this shit up with Chassis. She’s fucking perfect for me in every way a woman can be, and if Cake ever tried to come between us, let’s just say it wouldn’t end well for him.

But that’s beside the point.

It’s a couple of what-ifs that’ll never happen.

While I love Chassis, I know Cake does, too. Neither of us would hurt her, which means both of us need to stay breathing. For now, we have a backstabbing, betraying cop who used to be on the Iron Flame payroll to take care of.

After Rustik killed Rocky, he handed me Officer Lee as his somewhat olive branch. I gladly accepted. Mainly because he’s just another one, I want to make sure never walks this earth topside again. And honestly, can you even trust that a job is done unless you do it yourself?

Sliding off the barstool, I reach over and curl my fingers around the neck of the whiskey bottle and slide it across the scarred wooden top. Cake lifts his hand, motioning for a new beer, and then together we walk out of the bar and head for the building where I know Lee is being kept.

I’m barefoot, the ground still warm from the sun as I move across the grounds and toward the building. It doesn’t take us long to get there. Both of us slip into the building, and then I close the door behind us as Cake flips the light on.

There, sitting in the middle of the room, tied to a chair, is Lee, the backstabbing cop asshole. He’s been there for a few days, but nobody has been looking for him, mainly because I burned his fucking house to a crisp.

I made sure to put a body inside that fit his description. Though they’d have to do some serious DNA testing to know if it was even him, considering I pre-burned the corpse before I placed it in the bed. Nobody is going to do shit, though. Everything was ruled accidental by the investigators.

So that’s that, and now we can dispose of him without anyone being the wiser.

“You tried to fuck with my daughter’s life,” Cake announces.

Lee can’t speak. The tie around his mouth prohibits that, but I hear him mumble as he shakes his head from side to side.

Cake doesn’t give a shit, and frankly, neither do I, because even if he hadn’t fucked with my wife’s life, he did try to fuck the Iron Flame MC, and that right there is enough to kill him.

Flicking my gaze to the side, I someone else sitting right next to him. It’s Samuil. Another one that Rustik offered as a gift. A peace offering and I accepted it, almost fucking gleefully.

Rustik was going to send him to Russia—or at least that’s what he told all his men he’d planned on doing.

He prepped him for departure, then he called me to come to the airport in the middle of the night, before the plane even arrived.

I don’t know who was loaded onto the plane heading for Russia, but it wasn’t Samuil.

He knew I would never be able to work with them long term if Rustik hadn’t sweetened the deal beyond just sending Samuil off to another country and handing me Lee. I’d never let it rest. It would be at the back of my mind always. And I would always wonder when the fuck he was coming back.

This is the only way I can trust him.

“Are you ready to put this shit to bed once and for all?” I ask, shifting my gaze from Samuil to Cake, to Lee.

Cake smirks. “Hell fucking yes,” he growls. “Born goddamn ready. I should have done this months ago. But hey, the revenge will still taste just as sweet.”

He takes his time with Samuil, so much so that my mind drifts off to my woman. Honestly, I should have thanked Samuil before he went unconscious. If it weren’t for his scheming, I would have never ended up with Chassis.

I wouldn’t be married to her, and I sure as fuck would not have fallen in love with her.

He saved me.

His being a complete piece of shit worked in my favor. I fell in love with my fake wife—my very pregnant fake wife—and I can’t wait to spend every single fucking day until my last breath showing her just how goddamn much I love and appreciate her.

And I do. Chassis was made just for me—molded and created in a way that I don’t think I could have even done myself. Meant to be mine. That’s what it is, plain and simple. Chassis was meant for me, and I’m going to work every single day to earn that—to earn her.

And today, that means watching her father kill the fucker who manipulated her. And then taking care of the backstabbing cop who tried to ruin my life myself. And enjoying every fucking second of it.
