RONNY

It was hard to watch her leave for work. She was over thirty minutes late and I couldn’t bring myself to feel guilty about it.

This morning was a huge turning point for us. The way she fell apart, the way her body jerked and convulsed as I sucked her clit deep into my mouth.

Fuck, that was the best thing I ever saw.

It kills me the things she had been through. It hurts me that she doubts herself, and how she thinks she is not enough for me and that I deserve better.

I know she can’t help but feel that way, she has been through so much trauma in her life.

But I’m in love with her.

Fuck, how I love her. One day I will make her see how important she is to me. All of the men that hurt her are all dead, and it pisses me off that they are dead and I can’t hurt them over and over for what they have done to her.

One person that I can make sure is kicked out of town is the fucker that tried to hurt her in high school.

It kills me that someone almost hurt her again in the worst way. Though it was years ago, I still think of the fucker and the fear on her face that day he touched her. I will never fathom why men do this sort of thing to women.

She is so precious, so tiny, and I will never know why anyone would want to hurt her. She is an angel, someone I will protect until the day I fucking die.

I will kill for her.

I would die for her.

I would burn down the whole entire world to make sure that sliver of fear in her eyes is never there again.

I go into our bedroom, getting dressed and throwing on my cut. It’s time to see my brothers and start my life.

* * *

I never make it across town to the club because my mom texts me that she has breakfast ready.

I grin at her text and make a hard left down the road to my mom and dad’s house. I will never forget the first time they brought me home.

I was surprised that people actually had unlimited amount of food, clean clothes, and never had to worry about getting cold or burning up.

Or someone hitting you for just being alive. My bio mom was horrible to me, and I thought it was normal until my mom and dad showed me different.

Growing up, I wanted to adopt, to help kids in a bad home situation and to give them another chance at life. I’m not sure what would have happened to me if it wasn’t for my parents.

My mom is out on the porch before I even park. I walk up the steps and she hugs me tightly. “I’m so glad my baby is home.” I laugh and she tries to wrap her arms around me, but her arms don’t touch.

“Your dad is inside too,” she tells me, taking my hand and dragging me inside of the house. The house always smells like cookies, she always has a huge stack on the counter at all times.

Dad looks up from the newspaper he is reading. I try not to laugh at the sight because at one point in time, the fucker turned into an old man. “Dad.” He stands up and hugs me before I take the seat next to him.

Mom grins at both of us. “I missed having my best guys home together.” She runs to the kitchen and we don’t bother trying to help her, because this is what she wants to do and we can’t fight her on it.

“How was your first night home?” Dad gives me a smirk, and I laugh at the suggestive look.

Mom comes back, holding three plates on a tray so we can all sit down together. My siblings are at school, I’m assuming.

I wink at my dad and he chuckles. My mom eyes us both, wondering what is so funny. “Olivia is such a wonderful girl, I love her.”

“She loves you too, Mom,” I tell her and take a bite of bacon.

“I would not be mad if you decided to make me a grandma,” she says so easily, I choke on the orange juice I’m sipping.

My dad thinks it’s hilarious. “Mom, please don’t tell Olivia your thoughts,” I warn her, not wanting to scare her off.

She rolls her eyes. “We go out for lunch all the time, she knows all about how much I want a grandbaby.”

My dad snorts. “Yes, son, I’ve had to drive them around more than once because your mom wanted to take her shopping.”

I rub my forehead. “Mom, you could have scared her off.” I growl at her playfully, but she just laughs, covering her mouth.

“Son, you think I can scare that girl off? She loves you so much, and you love her.” Mom points her fork at me. “You have done right by that girl, I’m so proud of you.”

Fuck, that warms my heart that my mom thinks that. “She has been through hell, and you made sure not to add to it,” she finishes, and I smile at her, happy she thinks so.

Dad claps me on the shoulder. “She’s right, son.”

“But I found out that the fucker that tried to attack her in high school is a mechanic in town at one of the shops.” I arch an eyebrow at my dad.

This fucker has spewed his hate all through high school and after to some of my family members, but he never dared to say any shit directly to her.

I don’t like the fact that he is in the same town as Olivia. She drives around by herself all the time and the thought of her being so close to him makes me feel enraged

“Oh really?” My dad clenches his jaw. “Let’s go find out if he still has the same obsession he used to.”

My mom tunes us out, she has gotten used to all of our violent tendencies. We finish our food and set out on our bikes.

We ride down the road to the clubhouse, loving the sight of all of the brothers’ bikes lining in front of the building.

God, how I have missed this place.

I loved to play hockey, but I love my family more. I love my Olivia even more; these years away from her were so fucking hard.

I recognize Christopher’s bike. Lane, Smiley, Mason, Reid who is Aiden’s son, and the twins, Granger and Everett, who are Christopher’s brothers, have parked their bikes out front too.

I step through the doors of the clubhouse, my brothers all yelling at seeing me. “It’s good to have the first of the newest generation home!” Christopher lifts his beer and walks over to hug me.

“How’s Elle?” I ask him.

Christopher is in the same boat as me. Elle had something horrible happen to her at a party, where she was roofied, and that ended up with her becoming pregnant. It fucking wrecked everyone in the club because bad shit happened to one of our girls. We all know about the bad things that happen in the world, but when it happens to one of our own that shit hits you hard.

She just had her baby a few months ago. Christopher has been there throughout the whole pregnancy, never left her side once.

He is taking after me.

He is letting her heal, and learn to be a teenage mom, and he makes sure she has everything she needs with all the financial shit.

He is so fucked when it comes to her, and now the ball is in her court when it comes to their relationship, just like it was with me and Olivia. He is letting shit go at her pace until she is ready for more.

There’s a sharp cry coming from a baby. I swing my head over and spot a small basinet in the sitting area, and I grin at Christopher who’s walking over to it. He stares down at the baby like his whole world revolves around her.

He picks her up, her little head resting on his shoulder. “Fuck, give me that baby,” I tell him, and he laughs. I take the little angel whose name is Miracle.

She yawns, having a sleepy little grin on her face. “You look just like your mommy,” I tell her like she is going to understand me.

“Did you know that Holden works at a garage in town? We own all of them in town, so my best guess is it’s one of ours,” I tell all my brothers with Miracle in my arms.

Christopher tilts his head back. “Fuck! I didn’t even know he still lived here in town.”

“Olivia went to get her oil changed the other day and when she saw he was in the shop, she left before he saw her. I just don’t like the fact that he was so close to her. He was insane then, so I can’t imagine he has changed that much. He also has kids and they’re in foster care.”

That shit pisses me off. I will never fucking understand why anyone would choose anything other than their kids.

Miracle is starting to get fussy. Christopher takes her from me and holds her tight. “I can watch her while you go do what you boys do.” Amelia, Christopher’s mom, is grinning, dying to get her hands on Miracle.

He hands her over reluctantly and we all walk out to our bikes. My dad, Christopher, Lane, Smiley, Reid, and Harlan get on theirs too.

The sounds of all the bikes revving at once is intoxicating. I missed this. I missed the brotherhood. I had my hockey team but it’s just not the same. No one has your back like family.

The garage where Holden works isn’t far from the clubhouse and like I thought, it’s one we own.

The garage is a newer one and run by Tiana, the Devil Souls MC princess who is a mechanic wiz. The club hired her to get shit started. I can see her car parked by the office.

I look at Lane and Smiley, their eyes glued to Tiana’s car. I know they’re not going to like that shit, and neither do I.

Lane and Smiley don’t wait for the rest of us, throwing open the door to the garage. I follow close behind with Christopher, Reid, and Harlan.

Upon entering the office, we find Tiana sitting behind the desk, confused as she eyes all of us. “Is Holden here today?” I ask her, anxious to get my hands on that fucker.

“Yeah, I’m fixing to can his ass because he’s a shitty mechanic,” she tells us. “What’s happening?” she asks, confused as she walks over to join us. “Who is Holden, exactly?” she asks us.

Does she not remember him?

“Remember the guy that attacked Olivia in high school? That was him.”

Her mouth opens in shock. “What the fuck?” she screeches, and she takes off toward the garage bay. We run after her, and my best guess is that she is going to beat his ass.

In the garage bay, all of the guys working in the garage turn to look at us, confused to see all of us here. Then his fucking head pops up to look at all the commotion.

He plays it cool until he sees me standing there. He looks stunned, his face paling, and I can’t resist the urge to smirk because I can see he still fears me.

He looks behind him, like he is thinking of taking off running, but some of the mechanics move to stand behind him, stopping him from running away.

“Who the fuck do you think you are, working for the club after all you did?” I growl at him, splitting the distance between us. “Do you want to die? I can choke the life out of you with my bare hands.”

My whole body is about to go up in flames with how pissed I am, I want to kill him. All the rage I felt back then when he wanted to hurt Olivia comes rushing back. “It has been you pinching my ass when I inspect everyone’s work.” Tiana’s face is red, and that sets off the rest of us.

“What the fuck!” Lane roars, and Holden’s face pales further to a ghostly white.

“I couldn’t figure out who it was, but it was you.” Tiana marches over and gets in his face, while I make sure I stay in front of her in case he tries something.

“I’m sorry, you can’t stick your ass in front of me and expect me not to tou—” He doesn’t get to finish his sentence before my fist is busting out his front teeth. He falls back into a car, and I grip him by his neck, practically lifting him off the ground to where his toes are just barely grazing the ground.

I squeeze as tight as I can, causing his face to change colors, his hands trying to dig into my forearms to pry my hands loose, but no matter the pain he causes or what he does to me, he can’t stop me from watching the life drain from his eyes.

I watch every second, every moment, and it gives me pure fucking enjoyment. It’s the best high. Once his body goes slack, I loosen my hands and he falls to the ground, his head bouncing off the cement floor.

“Well, shit, he is still breathing.” I growl, almost hoping I killed him, but it’s probably not a good idea with all these witnesses around.

Lane stands next to me, looking down at the fucker. “I will call some prospects and have them take him out of state. We have kids and our ole ladies to think about. No fuckers like him will work or live in our town.”

Lane turns around and looks at Tiana. “Don’t tell your dad, mom or brother until he is out of state, or dead.”

She laughs. “I think we are shit out of luck.” She looks toward the office and her brother Zach walks in, glaring at the fucker on the ground.

“What the fuck did this bitch do?”

“He pinched my ass,” Tiana says without an ounce of mercy and in that moment, Zach turns into his parents’ son. He gets his name from his temper and therefore everyone calls him Slaughter.

We all bust out laughing, none of us caring whether this fucker lives, and honestly, I would love to end him myself, but we have people that work for us here and we don’t know where their loyalty truly lies yet.

Zach walks over to him without an ounce of emotion and stomps on his right hand, the same hand that was shattered before by me all those years ago, and I don’t think there is any going back from that.

Holden lifts his head, waking up and screaming at the top of his lungs. We wait for the prospects to show up, and they drag him out of the place.

“His kids okay?” Lane asks me, and I nod.

“Olivia said they were doing good in care, but I will have her check in.”

They nod and I look at the clock, noting it’s getting close to lunch. It’s already been too long since I’ve seen my woman.

“Well, I’m going to go see Olivia for lunch now that the fucker is out of our town.” I grin at my brothers and my dad before I leave.
