Chapter 23 Jude

Being in the same space with all of my siblings was one of the best feelings in the world. I never knew how much I missed our non-existent relationship. Now that we saw each other a few times a year, I couldn’t imagine a life without them.

“Is it just me, or is Forest getting more handsome?” Camila, my brother Luke’s wife, asked their girlfriend Genevieve.

“It must be all that muscle from working outside,” Genevieve said as she craned her neck to follow Forest, who went into the kitchen.

“He looks better riding a horse,” I said, cause I couldn’t help but chime in.

“Is that the only thing he looks better riding?” Luke asked.

My eyes grew wide.

“Oh god, can you imagine him all tied, gagged and riding someone?” Genevieve said, fanning herself.

I don’t know about gagged, but all tied up? Sign me up.

“Or maybe bent over, that ass all red,” Camila said, fanning herself.

Jesus Christ, what were my brother and his women into? My face grew hot as I pictured Forest in the compromising position.

“Shit, sorry, Jude,” Luke said.

“He’s a big boy.” Genevieve grinned at me.

“He’s my baby brother,” Luke defended. “We don’t need to scar him with our kinks.”

“Hey, no kink-shaming right?” she purred.

“Yup,” I said, feeling like Genevieve’s prey.

I shivered under her gaze.

I didn’t know what it was about this woman, but I always felt like saying yes ma’am and being a good boy for her. Was this how Luke felt about her? Oh god, I didn’t want to think about that.

“Jude, you're so adorable,” Camila said.

I rolled my eyes.

“So innocent,” Genevieve said. “You know, if you ever need a wild night, I have a few friends who would rock your world.”

“Ohhhh, he gets his world rocked,” Theo said, sitting next to us.

“Oooh, by whom?” Camila asked. “Oh, please say it's your best friend.”

“What?”

“Oh yes, you guys have needed to fuck it out,” Genevieve said. “Plus, he’s a big ol’ hockey player with those big thighs and juicy ass.”

“Excuse me?”

“I was hoping it was by the ranch hand,” Luke said quickly.

“What the hell?”

“How about the ranch hand and the best friend,” Theo grumbled.

The girls gasped and Luke slapped my shoulder, “Hell yeah, Jude.”

“Damn, Jude, look at you go,” Camila said, as my face grew even hotter.

“I approve,” Genevieve took a sip of her wine. “So, how’s the sex? Ranch hand looks like a closeted Daddy.”

“Oh, like a Vincent Jr.?” Luke looked into the kitchen. “Yeah, I get that vibe. Does he like to get called Daddy?”

“Who likes to be called Daddy?” Iris sat on the floor in front of me.

“We’re talking about Forest,” Genevieve said.

“Oh yeah, he gives daddy vibes,” Iris agreed. “He’s got BDE.”

“Seriously?” I glared at her as she shrugged in return.

“I don't think I want to have this conversation about my ranch hand,” Theo grimaced.

“Just say yes or no to him being a daddy,” Camila said.

My face felt like it was growing redder by the second. “No comment.”

“Oh, he’s a daddy for sure,” Luke said.

“Luke!” I didn't know what else to say to my oldest brother because it sounded like he knew way too much and like he might be appreciating Forest.

Was Luke bi? Was our entire family a part of the alphabet crew?

“Can we talk about Webber instead, safer topic,” Theo grumbled.

“Awww, sweet Webber.”

“Let's not talk about my sex life.”

Camila and I spoke at the same time.

“Webber looks like a freak in the sheets,” Iris said.

“Iris!” I scolded.

“I say he’s a fantastic switch,” Genevieve said.

“He looks like a brat,” Iris added.

“I was gonna say the same thing,” Theo said.

“Really, Theo?” I glared at him and just shrugged.

“Naw, Jude here looks like brat,” Genevieve smirked.

My cheeks grew hot again.

“Yup, I agree,” Camila said. “The perfect dynamic. The daddy, the switch and the brat.”

I covered my face wishing hell would just take me now. I needed a hole to open up so I could fall in.

“Is it serious?” Luke asked.

“No, it isn’t,” I said immediately. “Webber might go back to hockey.”

“You could always go with him,” Theo said, as I uncovered my face. “You could follow him. I mean you were thinking about moving before, maybe it’s time you did it.”

I shrugged. “I don’t think this is serious.”

“Hey, it could be. You guys have been friends forever, maybe this was the push you guys needed,” Luke said.

“If it comes to it, I think you should do it,” Iris said. “We all know you’ve been in love with each other for forever, maybe Forest was the catalyst you needed to get together and now you guys can start your happily ever after together.”

“I… I don’t think it’s that serious,” I denied again. “And we haven’t been in love with each other forever.”

I didn’t need them teasing me about my feelings for them because knowing my luck, one of them would hear about it, and I didn’t know if I was ready to admit how hard I was falling.

“You sure about that?” Iris asked.

“Yes.” I lowered my hands to glare at her. “Who knows, I might find a man at the rodeo.”

Her eyes widened a little.

“Hey, I didn’t know you knew Nash Yarbrough,” Theo said.

Iris’ head whipped to the side so quickly I thought she was going to crack her neck.

“What do you mean?” she squeaked.

“Yeah, when we got to the rodeo, we saw you two talking,” Theo said. “Colt and Nova said you guys were arguing, but I don't know.”

“Um… we met at a bar in Lubbock one time,” she said, licking her lips and I knew she was lying.

“That's kind of cool. Is he cute?” Camila asked.

“Gorgeous,” I said, fanning the fire, at least we weren’t talking about me anymore.

I pulled out my phone to search for Nash. I pulled the first video and I watched it. Damn, he was very good looking.

“Here he is,” I said, passing the phone to Camila and Genevieve.

“Oh!” Camila said.

It was Iris’ turn to glare at me, and I just smiled at her. Two can play this game.

“Damn, those chaps.” Genevieve took the phone and zoomed in.

“Really?” Luke scowled.

“Hey, I was just looking so Cammy can make you a pair.” Genevieve winked at him.

I fake gagged, not wanting to picture my brother in chaps.

“Oh, shut up, you know you wish you could see either of your men in assless chaps,” Luke said.

“No comment,” I said, grinning and salivating at the thought of them in assless chaps.

Sam’s ass would look fucking delicious.

“Oh, Jude’s got it bad,” Iris teased.

“Whatever,” I said, getting up. “I’m thirsty, does anyone else need a refill?”

Everyone shouted what they needed, and I got up from my chair, desperate to get away from the scrutiny. Forest and I ran into each other as I walked into the hallway to the kitchen.

“Oh, shit!”

He grabbed my waist.

“Damn, I didn't see you,” he said, holding me close.

“I’m better now,” I said, looking up at him, smiling, but he looked uncomfortable. “Hey, you ok? Did I hurt you?”

“I’m fine,” he said dismissively, letting me go and he turned to walk away.

“Forest, what's wrong?” I grabbed his hand to stop him.

“Nothing,” he said quickly, not looking at me.

I didn’t believe his answer, but I didn’t want to force him to spill his guts if he didn’t want to. Something just didn't feel right.

“Did you have enough to eat?” I asked, leading him into the kitchen that was thankfully empty.

He nodded as I grabbed the refills I needed.

“Need a drink?” I asked, holding up a beer from the fridge.

Forest was looking out the window at the cold landscape. It had snowed a little this morning and it looked like it might snow again today. If I didn’t know any better, I would think he looked heartbroken. I set the beer on the counter.

“What happened?” I asked, hugging him. “You don’t have to tell me, but if I can ease the burden on your mind, let me.”

He sighed and it felt like he was carrying the world on his shoulders.

“I’m ok,” he said, turning around, finally putting his arms around me, hugging me tightly.

I sighed in his warm embrace, wishing—

“Did I miss the call for a group hug?” Sam said, hugging Forest from behind.

It’s almost like he knew Forest was the one who needed the attention.

Forest chuckled as we squeezed him a little tighter.

I kissed his neck, enjoying his closeness after trying to keep my distance.

It was a stupid thing to do, but sometimes I felt like a needy little gremlin and I had never been around people like this.

“There are children in this house!” Theo called out and I laughed.

“Oh, calm yourself!” Sam yelled back.

“Ugh, they’ve been teasing me,” I murmured against Forest's chest.

Sam chuckled. “Uh, your family is the poster child for poly families.”

Forest finally laughed. “I don’t know if they’re exactly poly, but I get what you mean.”

“They are talking about sex and placing us into categories, and I found out way too much about my brother Luke than I wanted,” I said shivering.

“Luke gets on his knees a hundred percent for his women, no doubt about it,” Sam said quickly.

“What do they say, if a white man is getting yelled at by his latina wife, he’s there because he wants to be,” Forest chuckled, holding me tightly and kissing my forehead.

I laughed, my worry fading away now that Forest was talking.

“Luke won the women jackpot.” Sam nodded. “I’m not into whips and chains, but they could make me excited for them.”

“I’m sure I could arrange that.” Forest’s voice deepened.

“Oh, hell yess, Daddy,” I whimpered. “I wanna see.”

“I think we’ve socialized enough.” Sam grabbed our hands, pulling us to the door.

“Bye! Thanks for inviting us!” Sam yelled.

I laughed as Forest threw my jacket at me.

“Don’t be late for breakfast tomorrow!” Luke yelled.

“Stretch!” Nova yelled.

“Make sure it's slippery!” Colt yelled.

“Stay hydrated!” Camila yelled next.

“We’d love to watch!” Genevieve shouted. “By we, I mean everyone not related to you!”

Sam cackled as Forest led us out of the house. My face was so red by the time we left, the cool November air felt so damn good. All their comments were long forgotten as I was shown just how much of a daddy Forest could be.
