Chapter 30

Chapter Thirty

Creed

We’re surrounded by close friends and family as we tie the knot in an intimate venue in Monaco. It seems only right that we married here, after all, it’s where our love story began.

I sit at the head table, with Royce to my left as I look on at my wife, dancing with Nora and Rue and I feel like I have won in life.

Luke approaches me, pointing his finger at me with a huge smile on his face, chuckling away.

“Congratulations, man.” He claps his hand into mine, the other squeezing my shoulder and I laugh.

“Thank you.” I roll my lips, and he raises a brow.

“I think you owe me something.” He winks and I shake my head.

“I think I do too.” I sigh blissfully, my eyes flitting to her for just a moment.

“Lucky man, you are.”

I nod. “I know.”

“I’ll chase you up after the break. Enjoy your honeymoon, man,” He gives me another squeeze and Royce narrows his gaze on me.

“I’ll explain later.” Reaching for my champagne, I take a mouthful, focusing on my wife.

“You look happy, Dad.” Royce’s words tug my attention as I look at him with adoring eyes.

“I am blissfully happy.” I nod, wrapping my arm around the back of his chair.

“You deserve it.” He raises his glass at me.

“So do you.” I look over at Rue and smile at how he goes all giddy when he settles his gaze on her.

“I’m not sure if she’s the one, but…” He wiggles his brows and I laugh. “I do think I’ll get world champion next year,” he boasts, and I give his shoulder a squeeze.

“There is no doubt in my mind, son, no doubt in my mind.”

We finished fourth in the Constructors’ Championship, and I am so proud of my team. Kai has secured a seat at Red Force, and I know he will do big things. Cowan is all set for the new season, and I really am hoping that next year is our year.

“I’ll be back.” I smile as I stand, the DJ calling me to the dance floor, making my way to my bride with the biggest fucking smile on my face. Forever and Ever and Always by Ryan Mack croons through the intimate room and all eyes are on us.

Snaking my arm around her waist, I pull her close to me. Her smile is wide, her eyes glistening, and my heart leaps in my chest.

“I can’t believe you’re mine,” I whisper against her lips as she brings my left hand to her mouth, kissing over the gold band on my ring finger.

“Forever and always.”

“Forever and always.”

Her hand skims around the back of my neck as she kisses me, our bodies moulding as we begin dancing.

“I love you, Ace.”

“I love you more, stud.”

I shake my head. “You’ll never love me more than I love you.”

“Wanna bet?” She crinkles her nose, and I roll my eyes.

“Seems I am no good at bets.” She tilts her head in question. “I’ll explain after, but right now, I just want to dance with my wife,”

“I can do that.” She smiles before kissing me again and I know I am rich beyond my means and it’s all because of her.
