Chapter 9 Schoolyard Bully

To protect Wen Yu, I went to the same school as him.

I ran into the illegitimate son, as expected.

The illegitimate son was Wen Qi.

The wound on his forehead had healed, leaving a pink scar hidden under his hair.

He glared at Wen Yu with hate. He looked at me with fear.

See? Wen Yu didn't hit him, so he hated Wen Yu. I hit him, so he feared me.

Bullies always picked the soft target.

My Wen Yu was the one everyone wanted.

The international school's classes were too hard. I couldn't keep up.

I stayed busy fighting Wen Qi.

He badmouthed Wen Yu, so I slapped his mouth.

He pointed at Wen Yu's face, so I kicked his legs.

He paid a bunch of minions. We had group fights all the time.

After fights, parents got called.

He had money. I didn't. But I had Wen Yu, and Wen Yu had money.

Wen Yu wiped medicine on me, frowning as he scolded.

"No more fighting from now on."

I rubbed my face pitifully against his palm.

"I can't help it."

For some reason, I wanted to hit Wen Qi every time I saw him.

Wen Yu sighed.

"If there are too many, run. Don't fight head-on."

He poked my head.

"This is for thinking, not taking punches."

Final exams came. Wen Yu took first, perfect scores across the board.

Wen Qi and I fought over last place.

This time, even Grandpa got involved.

Grandpa picked me up and sent Wen Yu away.

He sighed as he looked at me.

"Fights need smarts too."

"Hit them where no one can catch you."

I didn't get it.

"No cameras in the bathroom."

"Oh."
