Chapter 2 Resentment
I glared back, pissed.
Truth was, all of it was baseless guesswork.
I only said it to stir trouble for him.
I’d hated him for years.
The guy lorded his height over me, outscored me in everything, got more love from our parents, and never once called me Older Brother since high school.
Worst of all—he treated me like a grandson even though I was the older one. Total role reversal.
Back in school he’d drag me away from dates and force me to study.
After he took over the company, the entire Ji household became his kingdom.
If I went out drinking with friends, I had to report to him. Home by ten, or he’d come fetch me himself.
I was twenty-eight and had never spent a night away from home.
What kind of useless heir lives like that?
He was an arrogant, controlling freak.
