Liv's POV
Max left my hands immediately and opened his eyes in shock. He held his hand in front of him and saw the dark red blood stain on his hand and he slowly backed away from me. His eyes had stopped glowing, he was back to his senses.
He looked at Callum, and then to Ryder and he slowly turned to me. His mouth moved, but words didn't come out.
There was no explanation, he had simply lost control.
"And that's what happens each time you let your emotions get to your fucking head!" Callum gritted at Max. Max looked away and opened his closed fists. His lips parted in confusion and eyebrows furrowed remorsefully about what he had done.
"I'm sorry" he said slowly. The look of desperation in his eyes read if i didnt accept his apology, he might pass out from the guilt. "I didn't mean to. It was my wolf__" he shook his head. "No i shouldnt have, forgive me Liv, i dont know what the fuck came over me"
I raised my hand and the sight was not pretty, my skin throbbed, where his claws had dug into and my hand had turned purple where he had clamped down on me. Apart from the blood, my hand was in a bad state and it hurt as hell.
"L—let me see your hand," Max took a step forward but Ryder blocked him.
"I think you have done enough," Ryder snapped as he looked his brother in his eyes. There wasn't any malice behind it, he had simply just said it. "I think you need to take a breather," he continued. Ryder looked back at me and to my hands.
"Now that's bad enough," he spoke up.
I held my hand and gritted my teeth. My wounds weren't healing fast, one of the perks of being an Omega.
I didn't notice that Callum was already beside me. I turned and nearly gasped in shock. He looked at me and held out his hand.
"Here, let me see that," he beckoned.
I felt reluctant to give him my hand. His brother had almost mangled it off in rage, there was no telling what Callum would do. Come to think of it, he was also angry when I came in a while ago.
"No," I shook my head at him.
Callum sighed. "I'm just going to heal it alright. You know it'll take a while to heal? We both know you're going through varied degrees of pain, so I'll ask you again, bring your hands, let me heal you," he commanded, but his tone wasn't fierce, it held a bit of desperation as if begging me to follow his orders.
I looked into his eyes and I saw that he was himself, there was no strange glow in it and he looked human enough. There was some concern behind his voice when he asked me and I felt my fear slowly dissipate.
I held out my hand and Callum nodded at me. He looked me in the eyes as he took his hand and he gently laid his palm on mine.
"You will feel a bit funny, but it won't hurt," he said to me and gave me that look again.
His palm felt very warm on my skin.
It was comfortable, and smooth.
I felt a strange sensation in my arm and I watched like magic, my tissue regenerating where I had gotten injured.
The wound closed up immediately and the purple skin started turning pale pink as blood started circulating like it used to do.
I held my hand as the sensation spread to my body. So this was the power of the future alphas? It was amazing, compared to my slow healing.
Callum looked at me again, but this time, his eyes was glowing. He slowly brought up his free hand and ran it along my neck to my face. I was suddenly terrified by the change of events.
Callum brought his face closer to mine and whispered. "You know we'd have to mark you one day, you know that right Liv?" His voice rumbled on the low tones.
I knew he wasn't the one talking from the fact that his eyes had changed. My fear was strange, I wasn't really scared that they would mark me.
I was scared, because I knew I wanted this.
Even though I suppressed my feelings better than them, I was also strongly attracted to them because of the mate bond, and Callum being this close to me wasn't helping at all.
Ryder suddenly drew closer to me and cupped my face gently. "Look at you, you were pale a while ago, but now you are red," he smiled at me. His eyes gave the same distinct glow that Callum's had.
I knew I was in trouble. I was stuck in this room with three of them, I was going to get marked by them. There was no one to hold them off today since they had already lost it.
Callum brought his face closer to mine, as if he wanted to kiss me but he turned and kissed my neck instead.
My face flushed, but I wasn't kicking him away, I wanted more, I wanted to feel his warm kiss again even though I was scared. I held the wall for support, because I was getting carried away by the heat of the moment.
Ryder came from the other side and brought his lips towards my left cheek. He smelled intoxicating when he was close to me, I wanted more of it. He bit my ear gently, and my legs trembled. He gently slid his hands towards my waist and kissed my neck.
On my right side, Callum teased my with his lips, while on my left side, Ryder planted gentle kisses on my body.
I wanted to fall to the ground, weak from pleasure. I wanted them to claim me then, I wanted to satisfy those alien feelings I had never felt before.
The door suddenly slammed shut and we all came back to our senses. We all turned and saw that Max had left us. I was surprised, he was the one that was mostly desperate out of all of us to mark me, but he didn't join in today, he left.
"Why did Max leave?" I asked. I felt a tingling sensation between my legs but I ignored it.
Callum pulled away from me, and tucked his hand into his pocket. He had a deep scowl on his face as he tapped the floor with his feet.
"What happened?" I asked him.
Callum looked at me, and then at Ryder then he went out of the room, slamming the door behind him. He seemed furious, I wondered if I was the cause of it too.
"Liv," Ryder motioned to me. He was suddenly normal. It seemed as if the past one minute of our life hadn't existed at all.
I slowly nodded my head at him and sat down on my bed. Ryder sat down beside me, but he kept some distance between us as if he didn't want to touch me.
Ryder looked at me for a while after I had sat down. He was contemplating whether to tell me or not, because he was flexing his finger.
"For everything in this world," Ryder started. His voice was calm, but a bit shaky. "There is something opposite or equal to it," he said. He flexed his wrist and rested his hands on his thigh.
"I don't get it," I said to him.
Ryder sighed and looked at me. "Max has the Rival wolf," his tone sounded irritated.
"what does that mean?"
"It means his wolf won't fucking let us get close to you or let you as much breath close to another man, even us," He gritted his teeth in anger.
