Liv's POV...

Frank opened the door of the car, standing aside as he gestured me in.

I walked towards the car, avoiding his gaze and I slipped myself into the seat, then he slammed the door and turned around.

He plopped onto the driver's seat and turned his gaze towards me. I took a deep breath to steady the anxiety churning inside of me.

"Liv" he called out. Bracing myself up, I looked at him.

"This atmosphere is awkward but I won't ask you any questions because it might only make things difficult for you" he let out, his eyes clouded with a belated concern.

"Why won't you ask me any question?" I queried as a loud sigh escaped his lips, and then he leaned the back of his head on the car seat.

"I trust you Liv and whatever conclusion you make, it will always be the best" he muttered inwardly.

"I'm glad you do but it's best if things are this way because I won't be answering your questions Frank" I responded in a panicked state, adjusting my dress which exposed my thighs.

Frank's eyes followed my hands which were on my thighs. He watched me without blinking and then a smirk appeared on his lips.

I curled my toes, sighing deeply from the pleasure that unknowingly consumed me.

I was aware of the feelings I had towards Frank because I wanted him and everything suddenly became extremely difficult to control since he kept on showering so much affection on me.

Then the connection I had with the triplets was the mate bond.

At that moment I was totally confused about who I really wanted for myself. Whom did I want to keep for myself? They were all soon to be Alphas and I wouldn't get to lose anything if I chose someone amongst the four.

"Your seatbelt" Frank's voice came through, drawing his body closer to mine and taking the seatbelt from the side.

He crossed it around my body, clicking it shut with the feel of his hot breath on my neck as I tilted my head sideways with my heart racing.

He pressed hard on the brakes, zooming off with speed and the dust that covered the air.

************

We arrived at the dark moon pack and the memories that I wanted to forget slipped their way inside of me.

No matter how hard I tried, one thing or the other would always remind me of where I came from and my identity.

I could see the omegas standing outside the mansion.

I guessed one of them was going to lead us inside the hall but the looks on their faces made one thing clear to me, they had a lot of questions in their head.

They might be wondering how a nobody just like them was able to get so lucky. Firstly, I trapped the triplets and if that wasn't enough, the future Alpha of the Darksky walked by my side like a protector

All those were going to be gossiped amongst them but nothing really mattered to me because I had two main goals I was aiming for.

Firstly I needed to make sure I played my card well around the triplets to get an upper hand.

Secondly, I needed to unravel more secrets concerning my identity.

A guard moved towards us, bowing his head in respect.

"Sir Frank, please permit me to take you inside the hall," the guard said with utmost respect

Frank sucked air through his teeth, his warm fingers touched my hand and his palm slid under mine, forcing my hands apart and he intertwined his fingers with mine.

"I can feel your anxiety, relax Liv" Frank muttered. Folding my lips, I nodded my head in approval, breathing in deeply.

The guard led the way and we were taken into the hall for the ceremony.

My eyes darted around the hall, looking for who I wanted to see but it seemed as though they hadn't arrived yet.

Just when I was about to turn my head, I caught a glimpse of Ryder and I looked into his eyes.

He couldn't help but smile at me. A smile which indicated he was surprised to see me. He sauntered towards me, but his legs brought him to a stop as Frank stepped out behind me.

I could immediately notice the burning bitterness inside of Ryder as jealousy reared through him.

Frank glanced at me, disentangling his fingers from mine then he stepped aside.

Just as Frank could read me like an open book, I understood him also and the reason behind every action he took.

I knew he didn't want to banter words with the triplets, especially at a time like this. I watched him turn his back against me and I followed behind him as we sat down close to each other.

I had been seated for so long and I was beginning to be impatient when Callum and Max came into view.

They had a stoic expression on their faces. They exuded the looks of royalty dressed in black suits and hair hair perfectly done. I couldn't help but gaze at them with admiration. It looked like they were made for it_ to be the Alphas

The casket was being carried from the door alongside the elders of the pack following its trails.

The triplets and Luna Rebecca were being protected by the guards who walked behind them with powerful guns and weapons attached to them.

I instantly became disgusted at the sight of the Luna and I couldn't hide it anymore as my countenance portrayed it.

Her eyes were swollen from crying a lot but I knew those tears were fake.

She had finally become victorious in the end after proving me wrong in the hall when I had informed everyone the Alpha's drink was poisoned.

Anyone who saw the Luna would be under the impression that she actually loved her husband immensely but she functioned like a witch, one who didn't value her husband and children.

For her, everything was a game of power, fame, and wealth.

They all walked towards the casket which was dropped on a platform and then two guards forced it open.

Just like she was being controlled, Luna Rebecca slipped to the floor, crying profusely. Two of the maids rushed to her side, holding her firmly, trying to comfort her.

I watched Max clench his jaw. It was certain he couldn't stand it. He was the first to walk towards his Father's Casket. He stared at it for a while and then he walked out.

The others followed suit. Callum walked towards the casket, but he didn't leave as quickly as Max. I noticed how he stiffened for a few seconds. He brought his hand and touched the tip of the casket. There was this look in his eyes that I couldn't decipher no matter how hard I tried to

Staring at Luna Rebecca who was back on her feet, cleaning her tears. "What are they going to do to the person who did this Frank?" I asked.

Frank tore his eyes from the scene in front of us. "You mean the maid who poisoned him?"

I shook my head slightly. "It wasn't a maid

Frank narrowed his eyes at me. "Words reached dark sky saying it was a maid who served him Wolf's bane and instead of getting help immediately, she watched him die. We both know wolfbane is strong but not so fast to kill a man especially an Alpha on the spot"

I tore my eyes off Luna Rebecca. Even with the explanation Frank gave me, a lot of things weren't adding up. Especially after I watched her plan Arthur's death and his death happening a few days later, but the blame was put on somebody else.

A loud voice distracted me and I brought my eyes back to the stage. It was one of the Elders standing before everyone.

"The Alpha is dead. The 6th Alpha from the Windsor bloodline. Although you might think it's early, but a pack can't be without an Alpha. It will only show weakness" he looked around and then he continued.

"Shall the three sons of the Alpha step forward" he called out

I watched Callum, Ryder, and Max step forward. Staring at Callum, I worried deeply. He looked absentminded and at the same time drained. He walked just behind Max who walked behind Ryder.

The elder spoke up. "Behold the future of our beloved Pack"

"Maxwell Windsor, step forward" the elder spoke and Max walked towards him. He knelt with one kneel without being told. He already knew what to do.

"I proclaim you the Lord of the Warriors, the Bellator Alpha" the cloud cheered as one of the guards presented a wrapped blade.

The elder took it and once again without being told, Max raised his hand. I watched the elder slit his wrist and I cringe at the sight of the blood.

Max guided his hand to a bowl that was brought before him and there his blood flowed through.

"It is sealed!" the elder chanted and so did everybody.

Max was taken away by the guards. My eyes followed him, but he soon disappeared into the crowd.

I watched the elder take the same blade which he had used for Max. I could see the fear in his eyes, but I couldn't understand it.

He brought the blade up and then to his neck. "What is he doing" I panicked, looking at Frank who remained as calm as possible.

I watched him glide the knife through his neck. Blood spewed out and the old man dropped to the floor, bleeding profusely.

"What is going on Frank" I called out as horror overwhelmed me.

"He was going to die anyway" Frank replied plainly.

"Why is that?" I asked shakily, the smell of blood feeling my nose. The hall was too big for me to smell anything, but it felt like the elder died right in my arms.

"This is to make sure he doesn't go about saying he ordained the Alphas. He had seen them in their vulnerable state. They knelt before him and an Alpha isn't supposed to kneel before anybody"

"Then they shouldn't kneel!" I shot out in disbelief.

"That's how it has always been"

I instantly felt more sicker than I felt before. I watched Callum turn to me. It was almost as though he could read my mind, but I tore my gaze off his. I knew the same Elder who would ordain him would die like the first did

"Ryder Windsor" another elder called out

I watched Ryder do the same as Max. He knelt down.

"I proclaim you, the Lord of Wealth, in charge of the finance of this pack, the Divitiae Alpha"

They slit his hand and he was taken out by the guards and just like the first Elder, the second Elder used the same knife to slit his throat.

I clenched my fist by my side and shut my eyes

"Finally, Callum Windsor" Another Elder even older than the other two called out

Callum walked in and he knelt down before him.

"I proclaim you, the lord of the Pack, the leader of all commands and degrees of this pack, the Dux Alpha"

Callum brought his hand and it was slit

Even without asking, I knew immediately Callum was slightly higher than Max and Ryder. Weren't they all supposed to be equal?

I tore my eyes off the stage because I didn't want to see the elder kill himself. Even when I knew it was over I still didn't look.

"This is when the war begins," Frank said and I turned to him in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" I looked to the stage where I found three guards taking the bodies of the elders away.

"Have you ever seen a pack with three Alphas before?" Frank asked

I shook my head. "But what does have to do with anything?"

"One of them is going to rebel. They can't all lead. One of them will surely want everything for himself"

"But they are triplets"

Frank turned to me and he spoke "Yet they all have different blood coursing through their veins"
