Chapter 54
The drive took hours, and we’d only stopped once to get gas. About an hour ago, blankets of beautiful snow began to make a showing.
The coat made a lot more sense now.
“Where are we going?” I finally broke my silence.
“We wanted to bring you to the cabin,” Elias answered. “To get you away from all the bullshit.”
“Plus, with your heat coming, it’s perfect to hunker down in,” Kyan added.
“You’re keeping track of my heat?” I was stunned.
“Here we are.” Elias rolled up a cleared road, leading to the front of a two-story home.
Dried-up trees braced the front of the simple cabin.
The engine shut off, and I had to wait for Kyan to get out of the car and open my door.
I hopped out, the snow crunching under my feet.
As close as I was to these mountains, I’d never actually been here before.
I crouched to scoop some of it into my hand.
I squeezed it in my palm, and it crunched in my grip.
My hand was already numb, the chill stinging my face.
Logically, I understood snow was ice, but it was icier than I had anticipated.
“And I’m ready for your heat,” Sinclair announced as he rounded the car. “I brought energy shots to keep up with yo—” Snow hitting him on the face stopped him mid-sentence. I looked down at my now-empty hand.
“Brat.” He crouched down, scooping snow into his big hand. It whirled toward me, and I froze. Before it smacked into me, I was enveloped.
“I have you,” Elias breathed into my ear. I snorted, the snow smacking into his corduroy jacket. “Grab more and toss it.”
He didn’t need to tell me twice. I picked some up, rounding so my chest was against Elias, I poked my head out and threw another ball of snow at Sinclair.
Laughing, I collected some more of the white powder by our feet, and as I nestled close to Elias, a wave of heat swept over me.
“Oh, fuck,” I croaked, clutching onto his sweater. He stilled and peered down at me, eyes widening.
“Let’s get you inside,” he said gruffly and swept me up into his arms, carrying me against his chest. Another wave hit me, and my pussy throbbed.
“Elias,” I moaned, yanking at his jacket.
“Almost there, Briar.” He kissed the top of my head.
The inside of the cabin blurred past in a mix of browns and wood, then he was climbing stairs that turned to the left.
He passed the room at the top and entered the second bedroom.
I couldn’t hold myself back anymore—the haze took over.
I pulled at the collar of his sweater and shoved my nose against his pulse.
Chocolate filled my senses, and I moaned.
“Fuck, Briar,” he groaned, and his hand squeezed my ass.
My back hit the edge of a bed, and he yanked his sweater off, along with his shirt, then he started working on his jeans.
I tugged at my sweater, shoving it off, and then got out of the workout set, not caring where I tossed it.
Just in time for Elias to be finished. Footsteps entered, the pair slowing, but it was too late for me to focus on much.
I widened my legs, and he glided into my slick channel.
Sinclair grabbed my waist, and Elias scooped me up. Together, they hoisted me enough for Sinclair to slide behind me. His cock prodded Elias’, the rub of his piercing scraping into my entrance. Elias gasped, tensing.
With slow pumps, he worked inside me until his cock was flush to Elias, and I couldn’t stop writhing. An orgasm wracked my frame, ripping a gasp from my soul. I dragged my nails over Elias’ shoulders, my vision blurring. I was mid orgasm when Kyan approached Elias’ side, nude and cock hard.
My release tapered. I was so wet and needy for more. Elias hooked his hand under my knee and hoisted it wider, while Kyan grabbed the other, spreading me. Sinclair’s cock flexed inside me.
Elias propped his foot on the edge of the bed, angling as he thrust into me. His head fell back, mouth dropping open. The angle let Kyan fit next to Elias.
Kyan propped his foot on the edge of the other side of the bed, and he guided his cock-tip into my pussy entrance.
My eyes widened at the stretch. He shoved inside another inch.
I tensed, the pressure stealing my breath as Kyan slid his cock in beside Elias and Sinclair’s. He gave another pump of his hips, fitting more of him inside me. So much pressure. Sinclair gasped, hips twitching.
“You can take it, baby,” Kyan encouraged, hand caressing my leg. A purr rumbled from his chest, and I became liquid, my sex dripping with so much slick around their cocks.
My eyelids fluttered, and I sank my nails into their skin, turning into a rabid Omega, panting and clawing their skin as I arched into them, taking their three cocks.
They were mine.
My Scent Matches.
And I was made to take them.
Pleasure rippled through every facet of my veins.
Their knots in me swelled, and my ability to move or think ceased. Pressure at my entrance expanded, and I screamed from the utter bliss of the stretch to lock me in place. My orgasm lashed through me, tensing every single limb.
“Breathe,” Elias snarled, nipping my ear.
I let out a ragged breath.
“Such a sweet cunt,” Sinclair groaned.
I dozed as the haze of my heat faded. Harsh breaths left my Scent Matches as they caught their breath.
Our scents coated the room: Chocolate and sugar cookies. A perfect combination. Each of my movements required crazy effort, but there was something I had to do before I let myself pass out.
I hadn’t claimed Sinclair.
Enough time had passed and as much as he tried to hide it, he struggled. I rolled onto my knees and hoisted myself upright.
“I’ll be back,” Kyan mumbled, dragging himself off the bed. Sinclair tossed his arms out, his chest heaving and a blanket tangled with his legs. Elias lay on his back across the other edge of the mattress.
The sound of the shower turned on.
Slowly, I crawled between Sinclair’s legs and dropped on his chest. He kept his eyes closed, but a smile spread on his mouth.
“Gimme a moment, sweets, and I’ll be ready for you,” he mumbled.
I snorted. “I really doubt that.”
His smile widened.
I ran my hands over his hard chest and lowered my cheek, rubbing against his silky skin. A rumbling purr vibrated his chest and butterflies exploded in my stomach. I inched higher, nuzzling into his skin until I kissed the little divot between his neck and shoulder.
Not letting myself think about it longer, I sank my teeth in, claiming him back.
Sinclair gasped, the line of his body going taut. I bit down harder and blood coated my tongue. The final layer of warmth flooded outward from my chest. An intangible binding to each of them. Slowly, I retreated and kissed the spot.
The restless sensation in my gut finally settled. Everything was complete and right.
Elias exhaled in a rush. I hadn’t realized their pack bond was also feeling the effect.
Sinclair’s breathing had become jagged and disjointed. “Thank you,” he whispered. He clasped my head and littered kisses all over my face. “I love you.” Kiss. “So bloody much.” Another kiss.
His arms wound around my back, squeezing me tight in his arms. Exhaling, he shuddered.
I stifled a yawn against his chest.
“Get some rest, sweets,” he murmured gruffly, rubbing my bare back in soothing caresses.
I lay on his chest, dozing. The shower shut off and Kyan padded back into the room.
So much had happened to me. To them. All around it had been a shit show to bring us to here, but experiences made them who they were.
There had been small hints of their past, but there were a few pieces that were still confusing to me.
“Can I ask a few questions . . . about Jennifer?”
He stopped breathing, and a spike of fear slid through the bond. I smoothed my hand on his chest, dragging them to his sternum. I lifted my head to prop my chin on top.
“Ask your questions,” he muttered gruffly.
I was well aware that Elias and Kyan were listening.
“This . . . Jennifer, took you in after your parents died. Where does Elias come in? Does that mean it was just you and Kyan?”
“It was just Kyan and me with her for a few years before she adopted Elias.”
“So before you arrived, it was just Kyan?”
Sinclair’s breathing bounced me on his chest.
“Yes.”
“Kyan, did she hurt you?” I didn’t have the strength to look at him. I hoped he’d say no, that it only began with Sinclair.
The bed dipped and I forced myself to push out of Sinclair’s embrace. I sat on my ass and tugged a pillow to my chest as I leaned back against Sinclair’s thigh so I could see Kyan and Elias better.
Sinclair sat up and curled his arm around my waist, nuzzling my throat.
“Yes,” Kyan finally said, turning his torso to look at me.
Beads of water fell from the tips of his wet hair and down the sculpted lines of his chest. My stomach sank and I bit my tongue to stop my urge to yank him toward me.
His brittle smile remained. “She touched me once.” He paused and I struggled to swallow.
“The next time she did it, I fought and she beat me.”
My heart cracked for them.
“After that, she settled on beating me. Then Sinclair arrived and it stopped.” He cleared his throat. “I never saw her with you Sin, but I knew what she had to be doing. I should have said something.” Guilt riddled the bond from his side.
Sinclair reached past me and clamped his palm on Kyan’s shoulder.
“We were just kids, mate,” he comforted gruffly.
“So when Elias arrived, it stopped for you Sin?” I asked, dreading their response.
Sinclair grunted an affirmative. “Not abruptly, it was a slow retreat into her obsession with Elias.” He swallowed hard and he buried his face into my throat. “At one point, I tried to tempt her back to me, so she’d give Elias a rest,” he exhaled. “It didn’t work.”
“We lived under her thumb for years.” Elias finally spoke. He rolled onto his back and folded his arms behind his head. “Meanwhile we planned to get rid of her. Since we’re older, we had to be smart because we didn’t want Kyan to end up shoved in an orphanage.”
“But it worked in the end because she left Elias her fortune,” Sinclair added.
“And so began the rat poison,” I said absently.
Elias was so tense, I could see his muscles bunched under his skin. I reached to touch his leg.
“I’m sorry.”
He exhaled and rolled onto his side to face me, tucking his arm under his head. With him laying like that, his hair fell into his forehead.
“It’s okay, Briar.” Elias caught my hand and kissed my palm. “I’m going to rinse off.” Elias scooted off the bed and disappeared from my line of sight.
Sinclair’s arm banded around my waist and tucked me against him. “You need a kip.” I stifled another yawn. Kyan inched up on the bed, facing me. He tucked my messy, half-bleached hair behind my ear.
It didn’t take long for him to become blurry.
