801 THE LIGHT TO THE SKY

The light that came from her was brighter than the one the Serafim had. It illuminated the entire tent, as if there were hundred of luminous pearls inside.

From the outside, people stopped with whatever they were doing and watched the ten was shining under the first light of the sun, it was a breathtaking sight to see, very beautiful.

They wondered what happened, but then some of the warriors said the Serafim was inside, thus for the people, who didn’t know, they assumed the light came from the Serafim.

She must have done something and knowing the gamma was sick, it was not something that was questionable, especially when Grace came inside to with Jace.

The knights and warriors were trying to take a look inside the tent, but the bright light prevented them to see what was going on when Grace and Jace flipped the curtain and they lost their chance to peek once the entrance was already closed again.

The moment Grace saw the bright light from inside the tent, she knew it must be the luna, not the Serafim.

Because after all this time she worked together with her to heal the sick warriors and knights, she realized the Serafim was not that strong.

The rumor was true to say she was the weakest Serafim in history.

Meanwhile, Lou stared from the distance, he just had another dispute with Zale the moment they saw each other, but their bickering died down when they saw the light from the tent. Both of them was flabbergasted.

"I bet all of my money, that must be the luna," Zale said proudly.

"You don’t have a single penny brat," Lou brought him back to the reality, reminded Zale that he was poor. "Shut up!" he hushed him when the boy was about to talk back to him.

With that, the two of them watched the light like the rest of the people around the campsite. They stopped whatever they were doing and watched how the light reached the sky and it got brighter and brighter.

The sun was just appeared, but it felt like they were in the middle of summer afternoon.

Not only the people in Cane’s campsite, the light could be seen in the Silver River pack too. Alpha Derick and the rest of the warriors there wondered what was that.

"Find out what happened in the alpha Cane’s campsite!" Alpha Derick gave an order. He stared at Cezi. He became restless when he found out his son was being infected too.

This was not right, if something happened to him...

"You take rest. I will write to prince Kellan about the situation here."

"Do you want to rely on him again? How do you think he can help us?

" What Cane said about Kellan bothered him so much and the more he thought about it, the more he found it was disgusting for someone around his age to see a sixteen years old girl was attractive, no matter how mature the way she was thinking.

Not to mention, he knew Arella. She was his sister after all. The worse thing he could say about his sister was; she was kind, but obviously she was not the sharpest. She was a child!

The fact prince Kellan kept three little children by his side didn’t make sense too. Why he needed children when they were in the middle of the battle? He supposed to send them away if he really cared about them.

"That person, who healed his legs must know how to heal this disease," alpha Derick said. It did make sense, even if it didn’t, he wouldn’t sit idly and watch his firstborn met his demise.

Meanwhile, the light lasted for an hour and when it gradually disappeared, the sun was already up in the clear sky.

For other people, they would be amazed by whatever Serafim had done inside the tent, whether she managed to heal the gamma or not, it showcased the power she held.

However, for the people inside the tent and a handful out there, they knew it was actually Iris.

The luna had this stubborn look on her face when she stared at the burning scar on Ethan’s chest. It was still there. If anything, it seemed a little bit bigger now. Whatever she was doing earlier didn’t affect it.

Yet, Iris refused to give up and call it a day.

"Grace!" Iris called for the healer. "Explain to me what do you know about this disease!"

Grace was startled when Iris called her with stern voice. The healer had never seen the luna had this expression before.

"This..." Grace came closer and started to explain about the disease in more detail to her.

The disease started with the lowborn in the Silver River pack, the weird thing was; those highborn were not affected at all by this disease.

"So, it must be something about those lowborn ate?" Iris drew conclusion. There were a lot of things that made it different from the lowborn and highborn, but the crucial one was; the food.

When Iris mentioned it, all of them had this look on their faces.

"I want to see the food storage and the poison the Silver Warrior had used to poison the warriors and knights!

" Iris immediately stood up and rushed out of the tent, she staggered a little bit, but Cane caught her arm to steady her.

After that, she went out with Grace and Abby. Liam followed behind them.

She lost a lot of power back then when she tried to heal Ethan with no avail, but there was no way she would say this was all she could do...

"Jace, go with her," Cane ordered his beta to go with his mate. He was not going to stop his mate. He believed Iris knew what she was doing.

Meanwhile, the alpha didn’t follow them to the food storage, instead he looked for Zale. Some people might have forgotten that this young boy came from Silver River pack.
