806 THAT WAS HOW THE FIRST SERAFIM DID IT

"That one is still alive, I want you to question him to find out where the rest of the Silver Warrior," Cane said, pointing out at the one man, who looked younger than the rest, he must be at the same age like Joel.

Not too far, Zale was dumbstruck to see so many dead people on the ground, he was amazed of how strong the alpha was.

He knew all the alphas were strong, but the previous alpha of the Silver River pack knew nothing, but indulged himself with women and alcohol, if there was something in him that was strong, it must be his loud voice when he gave an order or his strong tendency to be very violent.

However, seeing alpha Cane... it was different. Zale hated to admit it, but he looked up to this alpha.

The interrogation lasted for three hours before the young Silver Warrior agreed to bring them to the other warrior. He looked terrified, though the torture that Dean and Pax gave to him was pretty ’mild’ for their standard.

Yet, this warrior was pretty stubborn enough to hold out for three hours.

Once they got the information, the sun had set and their surroundings started to be dark, some warriors returned with torches and luminous pearls to illuminate this place.

"Alpha, there is news from the luna." Joel approached Cane. He just rushed here to inform this to the alpha once he confirmed the news. "The luna managed to heal the warriors and the knights."

A small smile rose on his lips. He stared at the distance, as if he could see his mate by doing so. "I know she can." He had never doubted her the moment he saw the determination in her eyes.

Cane knew how close his mate and his gamma, there was no way she would give up on him without trying her best to find a way to cure him.

She could cure Joel’s legs, something that Grace thought was impossible, when she just learned about her power, even more now when she already had a good grasp of her power.

"The luna is very awesome, alpha," Joel said, he couldn’t help himself not to praise the luna. "All of the warriors are talking about her and we can brag about it to the knights!" Joel looked very ecstatic with this.

Despite for them fighting alongside each other in the battleground, there was this small altercation here and there between the shifters and the knights, after all the two creatures were clashed with each other.

There was cultural barrier between them and their point of view for each other was not really good as well.

That was why king Aeon was very irked to know there was a black magic in his kingdom, because it was a way for the Holy Kingdom people to get involved in his court.

"Tell her not to skip her meal and let someone tasted it first," Cane said and with that, he brought the warriors to get to the Silver Warrior’s base. Cane had hunted them down ever since the food poisoning incident, but it was hard to capture them.

Who would have thought they would show themselves, thinking it was the right moment to attack him when he was away from the campsite and was outnumbered.

"Yes, alpha," Joel said. He watched Cane and the other warriors shifted into their beasts and went deeper into the cliff. This place was like a maze. "Where are you going?"

Joel caught Zale’s cloak and dragged him back toward the campsite. Needless to say, the young boy wanted to follow the alpha to fight the bad wolves.

"Let me go, I want to go!" Zale struggled against Joel, but the latter didn’t want to let him go and keep his grip tightly around his cloak, while taking him back to the campsite.

"You are coming with me," Joel said.

"I want to fight too!"

"That will be a suicidal for you to go with them," Joel said. He knew the gravity of the situation, it would be dangerous even for him, since he was lack of experience, as he was still very young, let alone Zale. The alpha didn’t say it, but he would have brought Zale with him if he wanted to.

"Let me go! I want to go and fight!" Zale protested, but no matter how hard he tried to escape Joel, he couldn’t, even when he shifted into his beast and tried to trick him, it didn’t work.

Once they were in the campsite, Joel immediately went to see his luna, but Jace told him the luna was still inside Ethan’s tent and he supposed not to disturb her.

"But the alpha said for the luna not to skip her meal," Zale said first before Joel could relay the message. He was still pissed, because he was not allowed to follow the alpha and watch the real fight between the beasts! "He also said to taste the food first before the luna could eat it."

Joel raised his brows, he was not really happy because the message supposed to be delivered by him to the luna.

"I will make sure she will not skip her meal," Jace said. This was close to dinner, so it seemed, he should prepare it for her, since Aliana didn’t move from her place since this morning. His sister barely ate and drank. "But for now, you can’t bother the luna."

With that, Jace could get the two of them away, while inside the tent, Iris was still racking her brain of how to heal Ethan. She had tried the same method, but it didn’t work. The poison had disappeared, but the disease was still there.

However, something suddenly clicked in Iris’s mind. She had this moment of revelation when she realized she really had overlooked something really important!

That was why the Serafim could do it. That was how the first Serafim did it. Haco had mentioned about it before...
