Alexander figured out pretty fast where Melanie was going. The field she liked dancing in. My mate jumped into the pond there and I followed her in. I watched in astonishment as her fur turned white again the second she hit the water.
Melanie swam out and just sat at the water's edge. Her eyes and the feelings I felt from her told me she was in shock. Oden linked me, “I know you want to shift back, but let me just feel Freya in wolf form first.” I urged, “Go ahead.”
Oden gently nuzzled his mate for the first time, and Freya put her head on top of his. My wolf linked, “Ok, we can shift back now to comfort mate.” I shifted back and talked to my mate. My fiancée was adorable in and out of wolf form. Oden purred, “Our mate is perfect.” Yes, she was.
EJ linked me, “THE WHITE WOLF IS MELANIE?!” I teased, “You’re so late to the party, but at least you’ve caught on.
” EJ shouted, “IT’S TRUE?! Dylan is right?
Well, mom and dad knew too. Plus, Travis, KJ, Fowler, Chason, Lucas, Paige, and Emmaline seem to know too.
” I told him, “They are all right. I need to get her to shift back so bye.” I closed our link.
Suddenly Melanie was back in human form. In her clothes, that were perfectly intact. Alrighty then. My mate panicked over that details, but I was pretty sure that clothes were the least of the concerns. It was clear her mind was clinging to that detail. I hugged her.
Melanie’s feelings switched from shock to lust so fast I nearly fell over. My mate kissed me then told me to mark her. What? Now? Oden growled, “Fuck yes, now. Mark mate!” Wasn’t she overwhelmed? Oden reasoned, “You want to.” More than I could express.
Melanie pointed out everyone was going to want to talk to her. Who knows when we’d make it our room, but we were alone right now. I popped her into my treehouse and got consent. I felt her complete sincerity in her answer too. Thank god.
Oden was howling with joy as I pushed her onto the bed. My mate’s excitement was combined with my own. I said, “You healed Oden and Thor.” Melanie reasoned, “Well… I mean Freya did. I just chose who to heal with you. Apparently, we can always heal Oden.”
I kissed her and pulled back, “You’re amazing. My fierce Dancing Warrior, legendary mate.” Melanie blushed as I kissed her neck. I nibbled where my mark would soon be. It occurred to me that Melanie might not be ready for meetings after this.
It was highly likely my mate would be wiped out after I marked her, but honestly, I didn’t care. Not one bit of me gave a shit. They could all chill the fuck out. Melanie was mine, and we’d both been denied being able to mark each other. I wasn’t waiting for one more damn thing.
I started to kiss down her body. Melanie shook her head, “No… I need you inside me… then I need your teeth buried in my neck… please, Xander… I feel like I might explode if that doesn’t happen. It has killed me inside that we couldn’t mark each other.”
I looked into her eyes while sliding my fingers down and found her dripping wet. I agreed, “Well, only because you’re so ready for me. I’d have had to prepare you otherwise.” Melanie snorted, “I heard Black Path wolves tell she wolves that’s what lube was for… often.”
I growled, “They are motherfucking assholes who could take the time to prepare a she wolf and use lube. They are seriously a bunch of pricks who we are not discussing right now.” I kissed her and lined us up.
I slowly slid into my mate. I groaned, “Fuck, you are so damn wet and tight.” She gasped once I was all the way in. Melanie begged me, “Move my Alpha… please.” I thrust my hips which had her arching her back off the bed.
I leaned down to kiss her as I began to move inside her. Oden told me, “She’s already going to be close.” I asked, “What?” Oden answered, “Mate’s a different kind of wolf. Plus, she just shifted and now she’s being intimate with us, it’s intense for her.”
Melanie screamed my name, “XANDER!” As her walls clamped down tightly on me. I let Oden come forward and sank my teeth into her neck. Her legs locked around my back as her nails dug into my shoulder, while her orgasm came again and again.
I couldn’t help but come myself because she was clamped down so tightly around my dick. I felt her teeth on my neck and a thrill went through me. When her teeth pierced my skin, I roared her name, “MELANIE!” I began thrusting into her over and over.
I saw literal stars. I pulled my teeth out and licked her neck. She did the same to me, and then we went at each other again. I made her come before I marked her with my Hackura teeth as well. We were dripping with sweat when we fell apart. Melanie laughed as she laid across my chest.
I intertwined our fingers. Freya came forward, “Come with me, mate.” I answered, “I will always follow you anywhere you go.” She put her forehead on mine and suddenly we were in a forest. I looked to my side as I heard a yip.
I gasped, “Oden?” My wolf happily yipped and chased Freya.
I felt tingles on my arm and turned, “Mel.” My mate smiled, “Yeah… I guess this is my place. Freya said it was our plane. She showed me how to bring you with me. My wolf can bring the wolves… I bring the people.” I laughed, because it was awesome but crazy.
We both ran after our wolves, who were frolicking and playing. Melanie jumped into a lake and went in after her. When we surfaced, I told her, “It’s a beautiful place.” She put her legs around me. Melanie whispered, “What do we do?”
I told her, “I will protect you.” Melanie grumbled, “I just want us to have a second, and we will never get it.” I told her, “I’m sure EJ brought Trevor,” I growled his name, and my mate put her hands on my chest.
I continued, “back to our territory. Trevor had no idea you were the white wolf. We will protect that knowledge as long as we can. No one is going to believe it was a person in any pack. Hell, some people will believe we were drugged, and the other side needed a reason for their losses. Even once it’s discovered, I am not a man people want to cross. ” Melanie agreed, “That’s true.”
EJ linked me, “So, there’s a whole lotta people who want to talk to you two. Did Ladybug pass out? Dylan says she won’t.” I answered, “We are in some plane the white wolf has access too.” EJ grumbled, “Great. Can you get back?” I didn’t actually know.
Phil linked, “You take your time. Gage and I have got you.” Gage linked, “Yeah, our Alpha finally marked our Luna. It’s a whole moment.
Take it.” I replied, “Well, I’m in the white wolf’s plane.
” Gage snorted, “Well, since your mate likes to avoid things, I’ll just be planning for you to be gone for a while.
” Phil snorted, “Team try to keep everyone from losing their minds activate, Gage.” It probably would not work.
I laughed while asking Melanie, “Can we get back? I’m being told the group is impatiently waiting for us.” Melanie cringed, “What if I faked passing out from being marked by an Alpha? That feels like a thing… that could work.” Oden snorted, “I love mate but she can’t pull that off.” I agreed.
I teased her, “You want to act? You would turn red when they asked about you passing out from me marking you. You might be worse at lying than me.” Melanie frowned, “That’s not possible… I can at least attempt to lie. You literally can’t tell one.”
I smirked, “But I can evade without blushing or rambling.” Melanie opened her mouth and closed it before sticking her tongue out at me. Melanie yelled, “Freya… apparently… we have to go.” Freya and Oden came up to us.
My wolf shot me a pouting look. I snorted, “Don’t get mad at me, buddy.
The group wants to talk because our mate just made a legend come to life.
” Melanie sighed, “I mean… I… that…” I kissed her and linked, “How do we get back?” Melanie grabbed my hand, walked to a creek, laid down, and pulled me with her.
When I opened my eyes, we were back in my treehouse.
I linked, “Oden?” My wolf asked, “Where else would I be?” I snorted, “You say that, but I tried to link you earlier and nothing happened.” Oden sighed, “The second that drink hit your tongue, it was like I took a nap.” I assured him, “Paige and Corbin can look into it.”
Melanie asked, “Do we really have to go? Can’t we just…
hide out here? Possibly until they all just leave?
That’s just a thought… I could come up with a better plan.
” I laughed, “No because your family won’t leave.
Dylan Frost quite literally will set up camp and my dad will lose his mind. Come on.”
I snapped her into my hoodie and leggings because I wanted her to be comfortable. Plus, she looked damn good in my clothes. I snapped myself into sweats and checked my connections. My parents and EJ were close by.
Which probably meant Elise was there as well waiting. I popped us down and started walking. Melanie ran, jumped on my back, giggled, and kissed my cheek. I saw my dad before Melanie did. Dad declared, “Quite a few people want to talk to you two.”
Melanie slid down my back and buried her face in my shirt.
I asked, “Who might that be?” My dad snorted, “Dylan because of course he’s here.
Jayden, Finn, Lacy, Emmaline, Lucas, Dalton, Dakota, Nick, Peter, the rest of the Kyle’s, their mates, and all the McAlister’s.
Our family is here too. Along with KJ, Fowler, and Chason.
I told them to join us as this affects them. ”
I nodded, “I assume Phil, Gage, Toby, Tory, Gia, and Genevieve are there too.” My dad nodded, “Along with Sierra, yes. Valentina, her brother, and his mate joined the group as well.” Oden pointed out, “That’s a lot of people.”
Melanie asked, “Ummm so is there any chance… we could not talk about it?” EJ answered, “Not really. It’s a rather large deal.” Elise urgently said, “Well, now that everything is all established let's get to it and move on with our evening.” Melanie snickered.
