"Great so now that you both made up..
.are you going to tell me what really happened in the north?
" Cam asked.I just glared at him.
"What do you mean what really happened in the north?
" Jace asked.
"Viola just said that something happened with Violet in the north and we should just be careful with what we say to her.
And then today she referred to Stephan as alpha Stephan but referred to alpha Ian as Ian not alpha Ian so something is going on there.
"
"Damn do you not have a filter.
.."I muttered."
"Violet you know you can talk to us.
"
"And I will."
"WHEN?
" They both asked simultaneously.
When I am ready
"Tomorrow at breakfast."
Oh what have I gotten myself into.
I don't know what's wrong with me I have been missing breakfast this whole week, just because I didn't want to meet people.
I was never the social butterfly but I never thought I will be skipping food just to avoid people.
Yet here I am on the training grounds training six year old instead of stuffing my face with a home made omelette .
"Violet!" I scrunched my face up knowing that hell was going to break loose.
I turned and smiled at my approaching alpha and beta.
"Cameron , Jace hey, how are you?" I asked fake smiling.
"Cut the crap you need to tell us something." Cam said standing in front of me.
"You told us you will tell us this morning."
I smiled," nope I told you that I will tell you at breakfast...I didn't come to breakfast so I don't have to tell you, now can you please move I am trying to train our future warriors ." I exclaimed tightening my ponytail.
"Go home children your lesson is cancelled today, I need to have a word with your teacher." Jace stated using his alpha tone before tuning back to me. He set the basket that he was carrying down. " I knew you were going to pull a trick like that so I decided to bring breakfast to you."
I stared down at the basket filled with breakfast sandwiches and juices.
"Why do you want to know so badly." I asked ..they were going to find out today and nothing was going to stop them.
"Because you and Viola always tell us everything but suddenly now what ever happened you both can't tell us, we want to protect you Violet, yes your my pack warrior but your also my like my sister and I want you to come to me if you have any trouble.
" Jace said staring at him, his grey eyes almost searching mine for my answer.
"Are you in trouble with the werewolf council?" He asked.
"Or are you pregnant?" Cam asked quickly.
Both Jace and I turned to look at him," no you idiot, both of you no."
I opened my mouth to speak but shut it again tuning towards Cameron, " pregnant?! Really?"
He shuttles his shoulders and picked up a sandwich.
"I understand that your worried but I am afraid to tell you besides, I know it will trigger your protectiveness and then hell will reign." I reply.
"How about we promise not to go alpha and beta after you tell us." Cam bargained.
"Okay," I turned and made eye contact with both Cam and Jace before I looked down at the ground." So everyone knows that Viola met her mate but I did not.."
Both Jace and Cam just nodded looking already so enriched by the story, like a couple of pre-schoolers listening to their teacher read them a book on dinosaurs.
" I went to her pack for her marking ceremony , it was painful to watch but before the Luna got marked I met my mate."
Both Cam and Jace gasped simultaneously.
Hiding a smile at their girl like response I carried on," he was the Alpha, Ian .
But before I could make a move or before he could make a move the pack with under attack.
Viola in so much pain couldn't fight but you know me I love a good fight.
So I got my arrows and started firing. However when the fight was over, he ignored me and went back to the hand of who he chose to be his mate.
But that's not the worst , he told me that I must stay there that he will lie and say that I lost my mate and want to with my sister but I must act like his little mistress , I must be his sort of power but she will be his Luna .
I must carry a pup but give it to them as it is born, so I disagreed and he rejected me to my face. " I exclaim popping my lips thereafter.
Jace stood up, his eyes flashing red, with each raging breath you could feel his alpha aura explode into the air," I am going to kill him."
But with that I stood up, "no you aren't you told me you wouldn't,"
his eyes went back to their usual colour," he rejected you, what the hell is wrong with him, he wanted to keep you as his little slut , you deserve so much better and he deserves the pain coming to him."
"No , I am fine , I am strong I don't need him I have everything I want and no one is going to take it from me and you're not going to fight him as that will just make Viola's life harder."
"She has a point Jace, if we do wave war, Viola is going to have to pick between love and family we can't do this to her." Cam states.
"You are right , you're strong, you are my pack warrior and no one will take it that from you ok. I won't start a war but when I see him I will break his nose, every time I pass him." Jace stated his jaw and teeth clenched.
"Jace go for a run."
We four used to always say that, when one of us got to angry we would make them go for a run to burn it of.
I knew Jace wouldn't take this news lightly, he swore to always protect me and never hurt me.
We were four when he swore it to me. He was chasing me down a mountainside when I fell and landed at the bottom in a heap.
My lip was bleeding from the impact and being a young wolf my healing was taking very long.
When he saw the blood he couldn't stop apologizing and that day he swore to never let anyone hurt me again.
"He took that well." Cam said standing next to me." I am sorry Violet." He stated before leaning in to hug me.
"It's ok , I am just happy that we won't be seeing them anytime soon so Jace has a chance to cool off. "
"Well that's where your wrong little butterfly, we are seeing them the day after tomorrow remember, to have that giant meeting where we talk about rouges."
Damn I completely forgot about that..
"Are we all going for that?" I asked
"Well there will be representatives from each pack there. You and Jace are going. "
"What why not you?"
"I am going to stay as beta and guard the pack while your gone . Jace as alpha and you as pack warrior are more fit to attend."
"So your saying I have to calm beast mode Jace down every time he sees Ian?' I asked swallowing nervously.
"You did it before.."
May the moon goddess be with me.
Later on that day ,after Cam made me tell my parents what happened as well ... the news then spread like wildfire.
Everyone in the pack knew about me now. Some just let it go while others whispered about it behind my back.
The girl rejected.
Poor Violet.
Viola's sister got rejected by violas new alpha.
I was fine with all the attention until I stumbled up upon Sean's group.
"Ah the beloved rejected pack warrior." Mike , one of Sean's friends spoke up first.
I ignored him and carried on walking.
"Is it true that a couple of hours after you were rejected you took on Sean and won?"
"That's right."
"That's because Sean took pity on you." Mike said.
"Shut up Mike. I did not say that Violet." Sean rushed to cover up his best friends words.
I nodded at Sean, he accepted me having the title and there was no lies in his eyes.
"You seem to be a big talker , do you think you would do a better job?" Yes I know that I am leading him on right now.
" better then you, a girl? A rejected girl? Why yes. I could take you on even thought you don't have your bow and arrows." He stated not breaking eye contact.
"Lower your eyes mike." I stated.
"I don't need to."
"Just like I don't need my arrows to tear you apart. I said bringing out a dagger from my boot. "I don't even need this. Now if you don't lower your eyes , my wolf will take it like your challenging my position. "
"Maybe I am."
I felt Hope stir within me , she wasn't happy with his tone or with how this pup was acting.
"Fine." I gave Hope control of my human side, planning to take him down without going wolf.
"Bring it on pup," hope spoke from my mouth.
Mike took his jacket off before turning into his mediocre rusty wolf.
Sean yelled at some to go get Jace, but my mind was fully focused on mike.
His wolf ran towards me, but I easily dodged him, sending flying into the tree behind me. He shook it off and charged at me again, I watched his step after every three steps he swiped his paw at me , one two swipe, one two swipe.
On his third chance to swipe Jace appeared , he looking like he was going to stop us but hope just shook at him.
Mike swiped his paw at me, but hope caught it midair and then though him across back into the tree. He was up within a second , he started coming at me , fast with the speed of a true wolf. He growled, he was going for a bite. His jaw was wide open.
Hope did something no one had the guts to do, she put her hand in his mouth and before he closed it she started to pull it in opposite directions, the upper jaw up and the lower jaw down. She continued to pull them apart , until mike gave out a whine on submission.
She then pulled away and gave me control back.
"Does anyone want to take me on?"
No one replied not even human mike.
"Violet, my office now." Jace said walking with me to the pack house.
He closed the door behind me before taking a seat.
"Jace he was questioning my title I had to defend it."
"I know vio I never call you here for that." Jace said, his grey eyes penetrating mine," I told you that no one is going to take this title from you. I called you her to talk to you about the function happening, you were supposed to go with me but I understand if you don't want to."
"No I will go, I going to show them that nothing if wrong with me and he lost something good , not me."
"That's my girl."
