Late Night Dances
Violet POV
Jace offered us his cellars to keep both Zain and Phillip in until I go back and hand them in to the EA.
Reece is organizing Adam a funeral.
It's almost hard to believe, Adam was the normal twin, the good one, the one who got pulled in this because of his brother. Zain was the one seen Outside Russia , then Philip gave him the 101 about us , then he did a infamous twin swop and became his brother to watch us at the party.
They were always one step ahead until he tripped. Then we soared to the finish line.
I stepped out of the shower, the hot steam filling our hotel room.
Cierra left earlier today to spend the afternoon with Cam.
I'm not sure what's going to happen their, if Cierra accepts Cam, she will have to move here.
..part of me thinks she won't. She won't leave her sister half way across the world nor will she give up the agent job she trained for four years for.
It's our plan to go back home tomorrow, we need to get back to the agency and find someone who knows something about supernatural and try to find out what the hell happened here.
I wrapped the towel around my body and walked out the bathroom walking over to my phone to put in some music as I dug around for my pajamas.
There was sharp brisk knock on the door.
"One second." I shouted over the music grabbing an over sized shirt only to put on.
I quickly ran over to the door opening it, the cold air of the air conditioned hallway rushed into my room.
" Xander?"
The tall alpha stood before me, his one hand leaning in the door frame as he looked at me.
"We need to talk Partner."
I quickly rubbed my arm, it was starting to get really cold and I wasn't exactly covered up.
"Could we do this some other time Xander, it already late at night, I'm not even dressed and it so cold."
Xander removed eye contact and looked down before looking back at me.
"I can see that you are cold." He smirked he infamous smirk.
I looked down to see my body did infact react to the coldness, I cover my chest with my arms not uttering a word more.
"I'll give you five minutes, meet me by the beach."
I shut the door quickly pulling my top out and getting dressed into something more warmer for the night.
I quickly tied my hair back and slipped in my shoes before running out the room to meet Xander.
He was standing alone at the shore in his usual black outfit, with his jeans rolled up to his ankles as the sea water gently roles onto the sand separating when reaching his feet.
"You love this life hey, the life of constant adrenaline, constant fear of the unknown , a life with fights yet no time for love."
I was far enough away but close enough to hear him. His head was tilted away from me and towards the bright moon. His eyes closed and his face was illuminated by the moonlight, each facial bone highlighted naturally in the moons blue glory.
"You spend the mornings training the afternoons planning, and the nights dancing. Why make tonight different."
"Xander..." I interrupted, I needed to explain to him why I kissed Ian- hell let me rephrase that I have to explain to him why Ian kissed me.
I walked towards him but stopping dead in my tracks as he spoke again , his voice cutting through the air like sharp knives.
"I don't want to know Partner, I know you want to explain that Alphas actions but I don't want to know."
Xander turned around coming face to face with me. He reached up and grabbed each of my hands in his pulling me close to his body.
"I don't give a damn what that spoilt kid Alpha does. I don't give a damn if he kissed you or if his kiss brought back your wolf , I just want to know whose kiss you prefer."
He spoke so fast I barley heard what he was saying.
I think I took too long to understand his words when he quickly let go of my hands stepping back.
"God dammit Violet. Tell me."
"yours."
He stopped.
"What?"
I looked up at him through my lashes.
"Your kiss Alpha Bloom, your kiss was the one to make my toes curl, your kiss was the to set out a whole zoo in my tummy. Your kiss was the one to flip my world around , YOUR DAMN KISS WAS THE ONE THAT LEFT ME WANTING MORE AND MORE."
I don't know when or where but somewhere there I started screaming at him and walked out towards him. Staring him deep in his dark dark green eyes.
"You are the one I want."
He didn't say anything.
But his actions were telling me everything.
He grabbed my waist and pulled me close to his body.
He looked into my eyes and I could just return the stare.
His eyes traveled down my face to my lips then back to my eyes, I also couldn't help steal a glimpse at him biting his lip.he leaned down and grabbed my face gently then slowly leaning in and kissing me.
I pushed my body up so my weight was resting on my tippies and pressed more into the kiss. I placed on hand on his bicep to balance as the kiss hit a whole new level.
Xander pulled away and I slowly opened my eyes.
His eyes flashed red as he looked down at me.
I smirked , " you know Partner..after a kiss like that boys tend to not be able to keep other things down you can't keep your wolf down."
Xander leaned down and reached for my hand leading me over to the water. He stood behind me resting his head on my shoulder so his mouth was in line with my ear.
"I'm not a boy sweetheart, I'm an alpha."
He tilted my head so I was looking down at my reflection in the water, my own eyes shining a yellow with a hint of Violet.
I reached up and touched the outline of my eye before looking up and at Xander.
"But how.."
His eyes returned to their normal green.
"I , like everyone else though that the kiss you had with Ian is what made your wolf shine through, but I think I was wrong."
I smiled up at Xander.
"Thank you."
He sent me his infamous smirks.
"For What Partner...kissing you? Cause sue me but that was the best thing I did for someone in my life and I would happily do it again."
I smiled, " no Xander, thank you for everything, for standing up for me the first day we met, for helping me through my hardest time, thank you for sneaking me away and keeping my secret for so long.
Thank you for showing me your Taylor Swift side, thank you for always saving me for putting a smile on my face.
I can't feel Hope yet, but she is close and it's all because of you. "
I leaned up and captured his lips again, our kiss mixing up with my salty tears.
Tears of happiness.
We pulled away.
"Dance with me Partner."
"There is no music."
"Shooo, listen carefully."
I listened to nothing at first but slowly it came back , the sound of wind, the sound of the waves and the sounds of both our hearts beating at its own beat.
"Dance with me."
I took his hand and we moved carelessly over the sand and the water , not a formal dance but a mixture of moves. We didn't speak just danced to the sound of our hearts .
"What's going to happen now." I asked in a small voice.
He leaned down. " you tell me. My life is now in your hands."
I titled my head up catching the moonlight.
"What does that mean alpha?"
He leaned down and sealed it with a kiss.
