Chapter Twenty

Flushed and still out of breath, I smile.

The guys are breathing just as hard, if not harder.

Holy shit, that was amazing. I never knew it could be like that. Then again, I seem to think that a lot where the three of them are concerned.

And watching Levi and Walker together?

Holy five-alarm fire. I never saw that coming.

They looked so fucking good together. I’ve never thought about watching two people be romantic and never realized just how hot it could be.

Is it too soon to ask to watch them again?

Just thinking about it makes my blood heat despite the numerous orgasms I just had.

Hell, I didn’t even know I could orgasm that many times in one sitting.

Walker lets go of me, backing away. I swear I saw the love shining in his eyes. It scares me, but not enough to stop it.

“I need a nap.” I yawn.

“We need to clean you up.” Levi says.

I laugh softly as he leads me toward the bathroom.

All of us are well and truly fucked.

If I could bottle up this moment and bask in it forever, I would.

Then again, maybe I can.

Levi cleans me up before pulling me back to Walker’s room. I’m surprised to find Walker and Hudson already lying in the bed as if waiting for us.

Levi leads me to the bed, letting me lie next to Walker before taking the spot next to him.

Hudson rolls over and props himself up on his elbow. He reaches down and brushes a piece of hair off my face. His gentle touch is so contradictory to what we just did.

“What are you thinking about?” he asks softly.

“I was wondering how you guys would feel about me staying here tonight?” I ask quietly.

Levi sits up and looks over at me. “You want to spend the night?”

“Only if you want me to.”

“Yes,” Walker says.

I smile to myself. Thank God. I didn’t figure they would say no, but you never know. I just really want them close right now. I need them close. Especially after that display. It was intense. Intimate in ways I have never felt before.

“How are you feeling?” Levi asks from over Walker’s body.

“Satisfied.” I say, making them chuckle.

“Us too, but that’s not what I meant. I was talking about with everything that happened before we came back here,” Levi says.

Hudson grabs my hand and squeezes it. “Did I scare you?”

“No, you didn’t scare me. That’s not what I had a problem with.”

Hudson visibly relaxes.

“What was it then?” Walker asks.

Sighing, I try to figure out how to explain it.

“The violence didn’t bother me. Growing up in foster care, I’ve seen my fair share of fights. Hell, I’ve even protected myself a time or two.”

“Really? Do tell.” Hudson says, sounding impressed.

“The story time can wait,” Levi says, trying to keep us on track.

“What part didn’t you like?” Walker asks.

“Did I hate that he approached us and tried to turn things between us ugly? Absolutely, but I’m used to Troy’s fits of rage.

He’s like a toddler who throws a fit when he doesn’t get what he wants.

He has no concept of self-regulation. I genuinely didn’t care what he said about us.

I didn’t necessarily have a problem with any of it. ”

“You can’t tell me you weren’t feeling a certain type of way. It was all over your face,” Hudson says.

“Yeah, but that wasn’t disgust or fear. I was worried about you.”

Hudson frowns. “You never need to worry about us. We take care of you.”

“And as your woman, I take care of you too,” I sass back.

Walker laughs. “You worry about us?”

“Yes! I know Troy. He likes to run his mouth, but he’s also the asshole who wouldn’t think twice about calling the cops and trying to make himself look like a victim and make you look like the villain.

Add in the fact that his father is a cop, and I knew it would have spelled trouble for all of you.

I would have had no idea how to bail you out or anything. ”

“You were worried about having to bail all three of us out?” Levi says slowly.

“Well ,yeah,” I say like it’s obvious.

“Huh,” Walker mutters.

Levi shakes his head. “Okay, first of all. That’s nothing you need to worry about. If we were to ever be arrested, we have a plan in place. Our lawyer would have us out within a couple of hours, and if bail is needed, he has access to that money.”

Wait, they have a lawyer on speed dial? I’ve heard of that in movies and whatnot, but I didn’t realize it was a real thing. Then again, if you are part of an MC, it’s probably smart to have someone on standby. I’m sure they get accused of crazy shit all the time.

Which should worry me but doesn’t.

“Second, if it would have come down to handcuffs, we would have found a way that at least one of us would have been with you and only two were taken in. It’s why I did not participate, no matter how much I wanted to.

Can’t arrest a man for standing aside and protecting his girl.

Third and final, Troy can run his mouth all he wants, but that’s it.

Trust and believe people see through him.

It’s clear he’s a bitter ex-boyfriend who’s jealous you’ve moved on. ” Levi says.

“You could probably get a restraining order against him if you wanted. I know a cop or two who would be willing,” Walker says.

“Is that something you want?” Hudson asks quietly.

“Can I think about it? As tempting as it is, I don’t want to do it in a fit of anger. That wouldn’t make me any better than him,” I tell them. “Besides, it would only be a piece of paper. I don’t think it would stop him.”

“He brought it on himself, though,” Levi points out gently. “The paper wouldn’t stop him, but we would have documentation because he wouldn’t ever get to you through us.”

“I know, but still,” I mumble.

“Okay, let us know what you decide,” Levi says.

I smile at him softly. “Thank you.”

Hudson sighs. “Are we done with the deep shit now?”

Laughing, I shake my head. “Yeah, why?”

He jumps off the bed and scoops me up, into his arms.

“Because I’ve had this fantasy of taking you in the shower since I met you, and now it’s a possibility,” he says as he slaps my ass.

“Put her down before you get in the shower, I don’t want you dropping her!” Walker yells, scrambling off the bed.

Shaking my head, I laugh.

How is this really real life?

I used to dream of slow mornings like this, but I didn’t know they could be this good.

I woke up next to the woman of my dreams, coffee is brewing, and bacon is cooking. It doesn’t get much better than this.

The sound of footsteps coming down the hall makes me smile. I don’t even need to turn around to know it’s her. She walks so much quieter than the other two.

“Good morning,” she says softly.

I turn away from the stove, and she steps into my arms, wrapping hers around my waist. Leaning down, I kiss the top of her head.

I take in her outfit. She gave up on the dress, wearing one of Walker’s XXL T-shirts instead. It falls to her knees, making it cover more than her dress did anyway and yet it is somehow sexier.

I want to see her in my shirt.

“Morning. How did you sleep?”

“Like the dead. You?”

“Same.”

She pulls away. “What are you making?”

“I have a French toast bake in the oven, bacon’s almost done, and coffee is ready, and there is orange juice in the fridge.”

She reaches up and rubs her hand over her heart. “You did all this? For me?”

“Of course.”

“Thank you,” she says softly.

Shit, is this another first for her? Has she really never had someone put her first? Have someone make her breakfast just because they wanted to?

Her taste in men before us really leaves something to be desired, but then again, that just works in our favor.

“You’re welcome.” I tell her gruffly.

Esme makes herself at home and pours herself a glass of orange juice.

“Where are Hudson and Walker?” she asks as she leans against the counter, watching me.

“They ran out to grab some supplies. They should be back soon.”

I could tell her that they ran out to get her tea, but I don’t.

“I can’t believe you are making bacon without a shirt on. Aren’t you afraid to be hit by the grease?”

“I never really thought about it. I do this all the time and haven’t had an issue yet.”

“Well then, I guess we better hope you don’t ruin those abs of yours then with a scar, huh?” she teases, making me laugh.

“I guess so.”

We fall silent. As we enjoy each other’s company, I try to figure out how to ask what I need to know. It’s why I sent them out for the tea together. I wanted a minute alone with her.

Fuck it.

“I have a question.”

“Shoot,” she says with no hesitation.

“How do you feel about what you saw last night?”

Esme reads between the lines and knows that I’m not talking about Troy and what happened at the bar. I’m talking about what she walked in on.

Instinctively, I tense as I wait for her answer.

She sets down her glass and walks to me. She removes the tongs from my hands and turns me to face her.

“If you’re asking if I’m disgusted, I’m pretty sure you know I wasn’t. If you’re asking if I was surprised, yes. I never would have seen that coming. You seem so dominant that I wouldn’t have imagined you bottoming for someone.”

“And…” I say, knowing there’s more.

“And I’m curious.”

“About?”

“How did it start? I mean, if I’m being honest, between the three of you, I would have pegged Hudson for being the bottom, not you.” She pauses. “Bad choice of words.”

Shaking my head, I laugh as I hug her.

“I don’t know if you would consider me a bottom. I am for Walker, but nowhere else in my life.”

She licks her bottom lip. “How did you two even start?”
