Chapter Twenty-Eight
CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT
LUKE
W hen Sebastian finally lets up on my mouth long enough for me to get some goddamn air, his lips moving down to my neck, I manage to look over. And what do I find? Colton and Leena sitting side by side, each with a glass of wine as they watch.
I fucking knew it. I knew Colton would be fine with this, with us. I didn’t think he’d be so turned on by it if the obvious strain of his jeans is any indication, but at least he’s taking it well.
I nudge Sebastian with my knee to get his attention, since he still has my hands pinned above my head.
Dominant bastard.
“What,” he moves back up to whisper against my lips, seemingly forgetting that we are in a room with other humans. I tip my head toward our onlookers, and feel his body go tense when he remembers.
I wonder for a moment if he really meant to out us tonight, or if the note caught him off guard and he’ll regret this in an hour.
He looks over, clearly afraid of what he’ll find. I watch Colton hold his glass up in salute before taking a long swig. Leena looks at Sebastian, her smile indicating how proud she is of him. And I’m proud of him too. Even though we’re not exactly in public, this is a huge step. And if I had to sit by him for one more second and not kiss him tonight, I was going to lose my fucking mind.
I watch as Colton gives us a “carry on” sort of gesture and chuckle.
“Fucking voyeuristic bastard,” Sebastian mumbles, but I feel him let out a breath, feel his body relax with relief. When he does, my attention is quickly drawn to where his rock hard dick presses against my own through our sweatpants. He smiles down at me, shifting a little, letting me know that he’s aware of that not so little fact as well.
I consider the way he’s looking at me right now. Does he love me too?
He leans down and kisses me again, slowly this time, before pulling away. “You don’t get to watch us fuck, Colton,” Sebastian calls over to our friend, but his attention is still on me.
“But what if I asked really, really nicely?” he snarks back.
“No,” Sebastian states and I shake my head.
“Alright. Then me, my dick and I, are going to bed,” Colton says.
We both look over, then chuckle as we watch our friend try to stand.
Sebastian eventually has to roll off of me so he can lie out on the floor and laugh harder.
Leena’s confusion is what has me dying, so does the pained look on Colton’s face, but the man finally gets to his feet.
“What’s the matter, Colt? Did you spend all your money on gas for your helicopter and forget to buy underwear again?” I tease him, because it’s fucking hilarious. Then I really start to lose it when Leena’s eyes go wide over her wine glass, how they dart toward Colton’s pants in sudden understanding.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah. Laugh it up. I wasn’t expecting a fucking show this evening. Even though I didn’t even get that. And I bet Luke takes it like a champ, too,” he says and I quirk an eyebrow, finding it amusing how he assumes I bottom.
“Colt, you tell anyone about this and I’ll kick your ass,” Sebastian yells toward him as he re-adjusts his jeans before heading down the hall.
“Stay away from my ass, Seb. It would just be awkward now that I know you’re into that,” he calls back.
“Colton” Sebastian growls out a warning.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got your back. I’ll even prove it by exacting some revenge right now if you like.” He turns his mischievous gaze to me, then sniffs at his shirt.
My shirt.
“Oh. Fuck no! Don’t you fucking dare come on my shirt, Fisher!” I say jumping to my feet and booking it down the hall after the asshole. I groan, because it’s not particularly fun to sprint with a boner.
He sees me coming, panics, and takes off toward the guest room.
God, who are we kidding?
That’s his room now.
Colton ducks into his room and tries to close the door, but I’m right there with him, jamming my shoulder against it and slamming it into him. We both grunt from the force of it, and I’m sure I’ll have a bruise from that later.
I finally manage my way into the room and get a hold of my shirt.
“Ah! My shirt!” he shouts.
“Hand it over, Fisher!” I shout back.
“What, no please? And did you forget my first name? Aw, Lu, I thought we were close,” he mocks, fighting off my attempts to remove the article.
“You’re Fisher at work, and when you’re in goddamn trouble, kid,” I grumble, finally getting a good grip on the man and shoving him further into the room.
Shoving him too hard, apparently.
Because he’s got a hold on me and before I know it, we’re both going over.
—
“And what have we learned?” Leena lectures from where she’s perched on the kitchen island.
Colton is shirtless and sitting on the barstool in front of her, while she works to clean the blood from a cut on his forehead. I’m sitting on the next barstool over, letting Sebastian wrap my wrist.
“That… I shouldn’t try to come on Lu’s shirt?” Colton smiles up at her. If he didn’t just sustain a head injury, she might have smacked him upside it. She does enjoy doing that.
“No,” she scolds him.
“That… Colton should learn to run faster?” I tease, looking over at them.
Leena actually looks a little pissed, it’s sort of adorable.
“No,” Sebastian scolds me.
I love it when he does that.
“Ow!” The bastard actually smacks me.
“No fighting in the house! There’s not enough room in here for all your biceps and testosterone. You’re going to break something, again, or yourselves!” Leena scolds and we’re all quiet for a moment.
“Well, it is a lot of biceps,” I say.
“So many,” Colton adds. We both chuckle.
Then we both get smacked for that one by our mean and horrible nurse staff. But I guess we’ll keep them.
I’ll keep them.
I crease my forehead, finding it strange how used to having Colton around we’ve all become after such a short time. But I’m glad he could stay tonight. We had a lot of fun, and Leena and I both needed the distraction.
And there’s nothing more distracting than watching your roommate find out his two best friends are fucking each other.
“There,” Leena says as she finishes securing the butterfly bandage on Colton’s forehead. I watch her smooth it out carefully, her fingers lingering on his skin.
I see the way he looks up at her.
“Thank you,” he whispers.
“You’re welcome,” she says, just as softly, before slowly pulling her hands away, their eyes still locked.
I stare between them, considering how I feel about this. I stare until they notice, quickly breaking their eye contact.
Huh, I wonder.
“Ow!” I say again, my focus shooting back to where Sebastian tightens my bandage. Too tight, then tears off a strip of medical tape with his teeth to secure it. Clearly having missed Leena and Colton’s entire interaction.
I’ll have to talk with him about that later.
“Don’t be a baby,” he mumbles, then gives me a smile that makes me immediately forget about anything else.
I look down, finding his hand holding mine.
Right in front of Colton.
I stare, because I didn’t realize until this moment that this is something I needed. That being able to touch him like this whenever I wanted was this important to me. I run a thumb over his hand, smiling at the subtle contact. I’m ecstatic that he needed to have that too, so much that he was willing to step out of where he felt comfortable to get it.
Somehow that means so much fucking more.
He watches my finger brush over his skin, then our eyes find each other for a long moment.
“Well, fuck,” Colton says. We look over, finding him staring between us. “You guys really are together, aren’t you,” he states. It isn’t a question.
“Was me pinning him to the floor earlier not convincing enough?” Sebastian quirks an eyebrow at him in question.
“Well that was just… hot. But this… seeing the two of you like this…” He thinks for a moment. “It’s really nice seeing you guys this happy. I’m happy for you. And I won’t say anything to the team. Whatever reasons you have for keeping this private is your own business,” he says. I smile at our friend. I knew he wouldn’t have an issue with this, but I didn’t expect his kind words. I think that’s exactly what Sebastian needed to hear right now. Because he’s been freaking the fuck out over this.
“Thank you,” Sebastian tells him and I smile as well. If he only knew how grateful I am for this.
Leena yawns, and I tap on my phone, seeing how late it’s getting. We have to be up in a few hours if we want to make it to my parents’ house on time for lunch tomorrow. Sebastian glances down at the phone, noticing too.
“Alright, time for bed, sugar,” he tells Leena as he makes his way toward her, then turns around so she can climb onto his back.
“Oh, wait! There’s another present!” she shouts, pointing to the top of the fridge before he makes it out of the kitchen. Sebastian carries her over so she can grab the envelope we stashed there this morning and hand it to Colton.
“It’s not a present,” Sebastian says as he takes it.
“If we give it to him today, then it is!” She smiles, and seeing our woman’s legs wrapped around him, her perfect ass sticking out like that does something to me. But I guess everything these two do does something to me.
“What’s this?” Colton asks, pulling the single key from the envelope and looking between us.
“It’s a key to the gate on the roof. We also added your biometrics to the elevator, your code is written on the back,” I explain, pointing to the envelope.
And he looks… well, shocked.
“We know you have your own place, but whenever you do want to come over, we want you to be able to.” Leena smiles at him again.
“Um, wow. Thank you,” he says quietly.
“Alright, enough of that. To bed, all of you. It’s going to be a long day tomorrow,” I say, standing and ushering Sebastian, carrying a very sleepy Leena, toward our bedroom.
Before we’re out of sight of the kitchen, Leena calls back to Colton, who is still sitting at the bar counter, staring at the little gold key he’s twirling between his fingers.
“Oh and Colton?” she says. He glances up at her, his expression nearly unreadable. “Merry Christmas.”
