Chapter 5 Partner Switch Confession
After lunch, the director called us to gather and head to the countryside.
The afternoon task was to harvest veggies for the farmer uncles.
Song Nanzhou and Jiang Yan had top reputations in the entertainment circle, no airs. Two big men naturally harvested the most.
After a tiring afternoon, when we returned to lodging, I had no mood to think about dinner.
Luckily the director had conscience and prepared set meals.
Priced at 50, 30, 20 respectively.
I couldn't help complaining. "Dare I say after slaving all afternoon, I can only eat the worst set?"
The director smiled awkwardly to cover. "No way, it's all fate."
But the set meals were for two, so the directors had some conscience.

By next morning, the director calculated each team's balance.

Song Nanzhou and Jiang Yan originally had 55 left, but I charged Song Nanzhou for mooching lunch, three bucks each. They had only 49 left.
Wen Li and Wen Rou had 30 left.
The director spoke. "Cheng Zhi, you're captain. You get priority to choose your partner."
Su Xiner interrupted then. "I just want to be with you~ Pick me."
Song Nanzhou walked up to me, eyes fixed on me, and said seriously. "You must pick me right now, immediately."
My mind was full of question marks. I asked unnaturally. "Why?"
Song Nanzhou cleared his throat lightly, then said solemnly.
"You must pick me for four reasons."
"First, I'm 189."
"Second, I'm very handsome."
"Third, I have good stamina, earn money, and all earnings are for you to spend."
"Fourth, please."
I was slightly stunned, ears gradually heating up. I looked into Song Nanzhou's eyes and said very seriously. "I don't want to."
Song Nanzhou didn't understand and asked. "Why?"

His voice was clear and cold with a touch of magnetism. Anyway, very nice.
The girls in the group voice asked who that male voice was and for his contact.
Group owner said. "It's the admin."
Then I got interested by the voice and added his QQ. To ensure he accepted, I made up a fun line: Man, give me a chance, I want to break into your life.

That meant he wanted me to choose him.
Every fun chat before, I screenshot and saved.
After I initiated breakup, I regretted a lot. Often when facing deadly math, boring history geo, I wanted to vent to Song Nanzhou.
But entering senior year, mom pushed me hard. Barely touched electronics.
I knew no-contact feelings were like scattered sand, so I let go initiatively. Who knew after letting go, I still didn't test well.
