Unspoken thoughts

Author's pov-

Divya walked out of her lecture hall with kaashi, her thoughts still stuck on yesterday. Meeting Aditya had been refreshing-he was easy to talk to, funny, and didn't make her overthink every little thing. Yet, despite that, another name lingered in her mind.

Purv.

She hated how easily he occupied her thoughts.

As they stopped into the hallway, kaashi nudged her. "You're zoning out."

Divya blinked. "Huh?"

Kaashi smirked. "You've been quiet since class ended. What's up?"

Before Divya could answer, a voice interrupted them.

"Divya."

She turned to find Aditya standing there, hands in his pockets.

"Wanna grab coffee?" He asked casually.

Divya opened her mouth to respond, but another voice cut in.

"She doesn't like coffee."

Her stomach flipped as she turned to see purv standing a few feet away, leaning against the wall, his gaze sharp and unreadable.

Aditya raised an eyebrow. "Oh? I don't remember asking you."

Purv smirked, pushing off the wall and stepping closer. "And I don't remember her agreeing."

Divya exhaled in frustration. "Both of you, stop."

They both turned to her.

"I can answer for myself," she said, looking at aditya. "And yes, I'd like to get a coffee."

Purv's smirk faded slightly, his jaw tightening.

Aditya grinned. "Great. Let's go."

Divya followed him down the hallway, forcing herself not to look back.

But she didn't need to.

She could feel purv's gaze burning into her back.

And for some reason, it made her heart race.
