Then suddenly..
The grip loosened slightly.Meera stumbled back against the wall immediately.
She looked up.And froze.Meera's fear instantly mixed with shock.
"Omkar?! What hell is this ..!!" she snapped angrily the moment his hand moved away.
Without thinking..She grabbed his hand and bit it hard.
"AHH!" Omkar hissed immediately.
He jerked his hand back dramatically and stared at the bite mark.
" What the hell, Meera?! Are you a crazy cat or something?"he complained, shaking his hand.
Meera crossed her arms tightly and glared at him.
"Yes! I am crazy!And maybe next time I'll bite you harder! So don't even think about doing it again." she snapped instantly.
Her eyes practically sparked with irritation.Omkar stared at her for a moment.
Then he laughed.Which only made Meera more annoyed.
"Don't laugh, Omkar . It's not funny. I was really scared.."she said.
"I'm sorry. Okay.But you really did bite me. It's hurts now." Omkar said between chuckles.
"You deserved it for your stupid work!"she said out of anger.
"I only wanted to talk with you. And you know iam not normal like other man."He said.
"Then use words like normal people! Not like a Kidnapper. " She said.
"I think it's bleeding. You bit it too harshly. "Omkar rubbed his hand dramatically.
"It's not, Omkar. You think too much .Now tell me why you dragged me here this time. I don't have time for your stupid games."she said.
"My friends are waiting for me there. So tell me fast what you want. I need to go there. "Meera pointed toward the crowd.
Omkar's playful expression softened slightly.For a moment he simply look MeeraThe way she always stood ready to fight the world.
Then suddenly he smiled softly.
"You get angry very fast, Meera. It's not good for your mental health." he murmured.
Meera rolled her eyes .
"Because unlike rich people like you, I actually have work to do.I don't have free time to flirt around all day." she shot back.
A grin spread across Omkar's face.
"But I like this version of you. And you should use this version infront of Aarav not only me." he said smoothly.
Meera looked absolutely horrified.
"Stop talking like that. It's irritating."
She immediately turned around to leave.
But before she could take two steps.
Omkar grabbed her from behind.
Meera gasped.Her back collided against his chest.His hands locked lightly over hers wrist.
Meera's breath caught.Her fingers stiffened.She didn't push immediately.
Omkar noticed.His heartbeat sped up.
Slowly he lowered his head slightly near her ear.
"Relax. I don't do anything wrong.I just wanted to put color on you." he whispered softly.
Meera blinked.Her mind struggled to process what was happening.
Then reality returned instantly.
She frowned.
"What ..Why me?There are hundreds of girls outside. Go put color on them. And iam not match your standards." she said quietly.
"I'm just a maid, remember?"Her voice turned bitter again.
The smile disappeared from Omkar's face.His expression changed immediately .
"So what? Even you are maid . You are beautiful enough ." he said softly.
Meera looked at him silently.
His gaze never left hers.Omkar leaned slightly closer.
"Or...Did Aarav tell you not to let me come close to you?" his tone turned teasing again.
Meera eyes widened instantly.
Shock flashed across her face.
She quickly turned around in his arms.
"How do you know that?" she asked in shock.
Omkar only smiled knowingly.
"I know more things than Aarav thinks.But tell me honestly... after everything he said to you today..." he replied calmly.
Then his eyes locked onto hers.
"Are you really going to start listening to him now? And prove him right ?"His voice lowered.
Something inside Meera snapped.
Everything came rushing back.
She moved away from him.
"Why should I listen to your brother?I never listened to anyone. Especially Aarav." she asked angrily.
Omkar smiled slowly.The answer clearly pleased him.
"You look cute when you're angry." He said.
"I AM NOT CUTE. You should put glasses now."Meera looked offended immediately.
"Oh Meera... don't say things like that or I'll actually lose my mind."Omkar laughed softly.
"You are impossible. I don't know how your family handle you."Meera groaned dramatically.
"And yet you're still standing here."he said to tease her.
"It's Unfortunately. Not fortunately. And i don't need to near you." Said.
"Ouch. It's hurt."Omkar pressed a hand against his heart.
"Good. It should be. Because iam not those girl who always desperate to follow you." She said.
His laughter echoed again.Then he stepped closer again.
"Then prove something to me, meera. Then i will believe you." He said.
"What now? You are being too much Omkar."Meera frowned suspiciously.
Omkar picked up yellow color from a nearby plate.
"If Aarav really means nothing...Then let me put color on you." his eyes stayed on hers.
Meera stared at the color.Then at him.Then at the crowd beyond.
Her mind flashed back to Aarav's warning.
Stay away from Omkar. Or you will regret.
Immediately..
Her anger returned.Why should Aarav decide anything for her?
Why should anyone decide anything for her?
She lifted her chin.
"Fine. Do you. But don't think too much." she replied stubbornly.
A victorious smile instantly appeared on Omkar's face.
Then gently..
He applied yellow color to her cheeks.
As if she might disappear if he moved too quickly.
Meera simply stood there.
Watching him.Trying to figure out what game he was playing.
But she couldn't.Then Omkar smiled again.
"Now your turn, Meera. "He said.
"What my turn? Don't you put colour one me? Now what do you want?"Meera blinked.
"You should put color on me too."he said.
She stared at him in confusion. Then she said herself..no she never do what Aarav said. She is not her doll
Then quietly asked...
"What's your favorite color? I will put it on you."she said.
The question caught Omkar off guard.
"Yellow, Meera . It's yellow."he answered.
Meera glanced at the color in his hand.
"You are smart Omkar.So that's why you used yellow on me?" she asked quietly.
"Yes."Omkar nodded slowly.
"But I want your favorite color on me."Then he added softly..
Something about the way he said it made Meera pause.
She picked up red color.And gently applied it to his cheek.Their eyes met.Neither looked away.
His hand wrapped around her waist lightly.
"You look beautiful in my favourite color, Meera." he whispered softly.
Meera froze instantly.Her eyes widened.Immediately she pushed him away.
"Stop saying things like that! It's just colour nothing else.. you also think too much." she snapped nervously.
Her cheeks were suddenly much redder than before.And before Omkar could stop her..
She turned and ran.Straight toward her friends.
Omkar stood there watching her disappear into the crowd.The smile on his face slowly returned.
Dangerously pleased smile.Because this was exactly what he wanted.
A few moments later...
Omkar finally stepped out from the quiet corner.His expression was calm.
But the moment he entered the main area.He stopped.
Because Aarav was standing there.
Waiting.And he was the one who called him there and see that.
His dark eyes immediately landed on the red color still visible on Omkar's cheek.And then on the faint traces of yellow on Meera's face as she stood talking to her friends nearby.
A dangerous silence settled between the brothers.
Omkar smiled first.
"Didn't I tell you?She's changing, Aarav. And soon...She'll completely forget you." he said casually.
His tone was light.But his eyes were challenging.
Aarav said nothing.His stare remained fixed on him.Omkar stepped closer.
Aarav's fists clenched instantly.
"Don't dream too much. Just because she let you put color on her doesn't mean anything." he replied coldly.
Omkar's smile widened.
"Oh really?Then why did she put color on me herself?Something she still hasn't done with you today."His voice was calm.
He tilted his head.Then deliberately glanced toward Meera.
" And i also win the bet . And The great Aarav Oberoi lose this time. And maybe in future he will lose meera."His voice dropped lower.Almost teasing.
Aarav's expression darkened immediately.
" Listen Omkar . I not into Meera. I just want to save her for you.. because i know what did you want from her."Aarav said calmly.
The words hit exactly where Omkar intended.
For a second..
His eyes shifted toward Meera.
She was laughing at something one of her friends had said.
"So what? I want that!! At last I don't broke her heart like you. And don't worry i will don't force her. I will do it with her if she agree." Omkar snapped.
Aarav laughed quietly.
A soft laugh.The kind that only made Omkar angrier.
"I am 100% sure you will get her in bed till iam here. So you better if you put out your stupid thoughts." Aarav said angrily.
"Do you know what I think?I think slowly...She's starting to trust me more than you."Omkar said .
Aarav glared at him silently.
Omkar leaned slightly closer.
His eyes gleamed.Aarav stepped forward immediately.
"Watch your mouth, Omkar . Before i make you regret."His voice came out sharper than before.
Omkar didn't move.He smiled more dangerously.
"And one day...She'll choose me willingly. And that day she me under without any clothes"His voice softened to make more angry.
Something inside Aarav snapped.
He grabbed Omkar's collar instantly.
Hard.
"ENOUGH , OMKAR. YOU'RE NOW CROSSING YOUR LIMITS!!!!"His voice was dangerous.
Nearby guests turned briefly toward them.But tension crackled between the brothers.Omkar looked down at Aarav's fist gripping his shirt.
Then back at his face.
And smiled.Provoking smile.
"You look scared . More then you want protected her . "Omkar said.
"You're disgusting. How can thought about that. "Aarav shoved him back roughly.
Omkar calmly adjusted his collar.
"No. I don't .I'm just smarter than you. And think with mind more then you "
He smiled.
Aarav laughed bitterly.
"You think this is a game, Omkar? Meera not the girl you will get till i let you."Aarav said while warming Omkar.
Omkar shrugged.
"I don't know if it is game or not but And you're losing it already. You just can't accept it , Aarav." Omkar said while providing him more.
"What exactly are you trying to prove?"Aarav's eyes flashed.
Omkar looked toward Meera again.
His expression softened slightly.
"Nothing, brother . Even if is it then you will understand it too late."Omkar said claimly.
"Stop lying. You think you think yourself you're smart then me.. but don't worry i find out soon what was in your dame mind." aarav said while changing him.
Omkar sighed.
"Aarav i think you need to understand that You're the one who keeps pushing her away. So iam just taking your place little by little."Omkar said.
"Stay out of things you don't understand."Aarav's face hardened.
"Oh, I understand perfectly, Aarav. You just don't understand what was your important most."Omkar's voice became firm.
"I saw her face today.I saw how hurt she was.And despite everything...The first thing she wanted was space from you."Omkar said.
Aarav went silent.Aarav hated that they were true.Because he had seen it too.
The way Meera refused to even look at him.The way she had ignored every warning.The way she had allowed Omkar near her without hesitation.
That was what bothered him.It was the fact that she hadn't listened.
That she didn't trust his judgment.
That she looked happier talking to Omkar than she ever did with him.
His fists tightened again.
Across the ground..
Meera suddenly looked in their direction.For a second their eyes met.
Aarav expected her to walk over.
She immediately looked away.
And continued talking with her friends.As if he wasn't even there.
The sight made something twist painfully inside his chest.
Omkar noticed it too.
And smiled.Aarav saw that smile.
His anger instantly returned.
"Stop smiling. It's irritating ."His voice was sharp.
"Why, brother?"Omkar raised an eyebrow.
"Because you're enjoying this too much."Aarav stepped closer.
"Maybe.And while you keep pushing her away...I'll keep becoming the person she feels comfortable around then you."Omkar's smirk deepened.
Then he leaned closer one final time.
His eyes remained locked on Aarav's.
Aarav's expression darkened further.
"You're wrong , brother."Aarav argueed with him
"Am I?"Omakar asked.
"Yes, man . " Aarav said.
"Then let's see."Omkar chuckled.Then glanced toward Meera one last time.
Neither brother looked away.But the uncomfortable realization that Omkar might actually be becoming important to Meera.
And that thought angered him more than anything else.

Meera finally reached Veer and Ruchika.The moment Veer saw her, he dramatically spread his arms wide.
"Finally! The missing person in our group has arrived!" he declared dramatically, placing a hand over his heart .
Meera rolled her eyes immediately.
"Oh please. Stop behaving like a victim. I should be victim here not you." she muttered dryly.
Veer gasped loudly.
"Did you hear that, Ruchika?I came all the way here and this is the respect I get." he said dramatically, pointing at Meera with fake outrage.
Ruchika nodded seriously.
"Very tragic, Veer . I think we should not be here. Someone must be not like us here." she agreed dramatically, trying hard not to laugh.
"Exactly! We should not be here." Veer complained loudly.
Meera laughed softly. Then she saw Omkar and Aarav together.. Aarav looked like angry..but she ignored him
Then suddenly..
Ruchika's eyes sparkled mischievously.The kind Meera knew very well.And whenever Ruchika had that look..
Someone suffered.
Ruchika moved behind Meera.
Veer also noticed.And immediately started grinning.Meera was still talking with Veer .
"So how was your mom doing..she called me some days ago " she said Veer curiously, completely unaware of the danger behind her.
Veer suddenly looked away.Trying not to laugh.
"Uh... pretty good. And you know why she always worried about me." he answered suspiciously.
Meera narrowed her eyes.
"Why are you smiling like that?" she asked suspiciously.
Before Veer could answer..
SPLASH!
A bucket full of green colored water landed directly on Meera's head.
For one second..
Meera froze.Water dripped from her hair.Her white dress was completely soaked.
Her eyes slowly closed.Veer immediately turned away.Trying not to die laughing.
Ruchika stood proudly holding the empty bucket.
"Happy Holi my dearest friend Meera!" she shouted triumphantly.
Meera opened her eyes.Ruchika took one look at her expression.And immediately screamed.
"I think i need to run ! Ahhh" Then Ruchika ran.
"RUCHIKAAA!You are DEAD! Just let me caught you!!" Meera shouted furiously, grabbing a plate full of colors.
And then she chased after her.
The entire garden erupted with laughter.
Guests moved aside quickly as the two girls ran through the crowd.Ruchika was laughing so hard she could barely breathe.
"You look beautiful! You should believe me Meera." she shouted over her shoulder.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU! You just wait!!" Meera yelled dramatically while running after her.
"No you won't!" Ruchika said.
"YES I WILL!"meera agrued back.
"No!"Ruchika shouted.
Veer doubled over laughing.
"This is better than television. I jsut need to put you together." he declared proudly.
Finally...
Meera caught up. And threw an entire handful of color directly at Ruchika's face.
POOF!
Ruchika gasped dramatically.
"BETRAYAL!" she screamed.
"You started it! Now you need suffer this my dear friend." Meera shouted back triumphantly.
Both girls burst into laughter.Soon both looked completely unrecognizable.
Then suddenly...
SPLASH!
Ice...cold colored water hit both girls.
Directly.
Both froze.And found Veer holding a water gun.Looking extremely proud of himself.
"I regret nothing, guys..." he announced confidently.
Meera and Ruchika blinked.
Then both girls looked at each other.
An unspoken agreement passed between them.
Veer's smile slowly disappeared.
"Oh no. I think i also need to run..!! " he whispered nervously.
"Oh yes. You are Veer. Because none us will let you go" Meera replied sweetly.
"Definitely yes." Ruchika agreed immediately.
Then both girls charged.Veer screamed dramatically.
And ran.
He was much faster than them. Because is boy and there are girls after all.
"COME BACK HERE!" Meera shouted while throwing colors.
"NO! I still love my life now! " Veer yelled while running away.
Ruchika threw color.
Missed.
Meera threw color.
Missed.
Veer laughed loudly.
"You'll never catch me, guys! You all girls are slow.." he shouted proudly.
"Don't challenge us, Veer ! Or you will regret!!" Ruchika yelled dramatically.
Then...
While Veer was busy laughing.Meera quietly moved around the crowd.
Circled behind him.
And suddenly...
POOF!!!!...
A whole plate of red color landed directly on his face.
Veer froze.Slowly turned around.
And found Meera standing there proudly.
Hands on her waist..Smiling victoriously.
"Got you, my dear friend. And no one can run you for me , Veer . Specially you..." she declared smugly.
"YES! Finally!!"Ruchika jumped excitedly.
Then she ran forward with another plate of color.
But..
Her foot slipped.
"AHHH!" she squealed.
She fell forward.Directly toward Veer.
Before she hit the groundVeer's hands automatically grabbed her waist.
Pulling her safely against him.
Both froze.
Ruchika's eyes widened.Veer's eyes widened.
The world seemed to pause for then
Then..
Meera slowly raised an eyebrow.
A very suspicious eyebrow.
"Ohhhhh..." she dragged dramatically.
Both immediately looked at her.
Meera crossed her arms.
"Looks like my friends are getting some romantic moments." she teased shamelessly, trying hard not to laugh.
Ruchika instantly jumped away.
"NOTHING HAPPENED!" she shouted, face completely red.
Veer stepped back too.
"Exactly! Nothing happened! Don't think too much Meera.." he agreed way too quickly.
"Sure. Sure.."Meera burst out laughing.
"Meera!Absolutely sure." Ruchika shouted on Meera.
Both glared at her.Which only made her laugh harder.
Finally..
To escape the embarrassment..
Veer cleared his throat loudly.
Both girls looked at him.
"I have an idea, girls.." he announced.
"What idea?" Meera asked curiously.
Veer smiled.
"Our final exams are only a few weeks away." he reminded them seriously.
Both girls immediately groaned.
"Don't remind me. When ever i remember that i feel like anxiety again!!" Ruchika complained dramatically.
Veer laughed.
"Let's go to Krishna Temple together.We should pray there for our good results." he suggested warmly.
Meera immediately nodded.
"Actually...It's Holi too.So going to Krishna Temple feels right." she smiled softly.
Then she looked at Ruchika.
"What do you think, Ruchi?" she asked gently.
Ruchika smiled.
"Yeah.Let's go." she agreed happily.
The three friends smiled.
Then together.They headed toward the temple.
The Krishna Temple: ??????

The atmosphere was peaceful.
All three removed their shoes.
Then quietly entered.The beautiful idol of Lord Krishna stood decorated with flowers.
All three folded their hands.
Closed their eyes.And prayed.
Meera prayed silently.
Please give happiness to the people I love.Please protect Veer and Ruchika.
They're my family that i let now..
A small tear almost escaped her eye.
But she smiled instead.
Veer prayed for his mother's health.
For a successful graduation.
For a good future.
Ruchika prayed for her family.
For peace.For happiness.
For everyone she loved.
After finishing...
All three opened their eyes.
And smiled.
They took prasad together.
Then sat on the temple steps for a while.
The evening breeze felt peaceful...
Veer looked at both girls.
"You know...After our final exams...College will be over." he said softly, staring ahead.
Silence followed.
Because suddenly...The reality hit all three of them.
No more classes.No more assignments.No more canteen fights.
No more daily meetings.
Ruchika smiled sadly.
"We're actually graduating, guys.. maybe after months we can't meet like this.." she whispered emotionally.
Meera looked at both of them.
Her heart suddenly felt full.
"No matter what happens after graduation...You two better not disappear. " she said softly, emotion shining in her eyes.
Veer immediately pointed at her.
"Same rule applies to you. And we will meet sometime..so don't need to worry.." he replied firmly.
Ruchika nodded.
"Forever friends." she declared dramatically, extending her hand.
"Forever friends." Veer placed his hand over hers.
Then placed her hand over theirs too.
"Forever friends." Meera smiled.
And beneath the blessings of Lord Krishna...
The three silently hoped that life would never take away the bond they had built together.
Even if college ended, their friendship wouldn't.Because some people become more than friends.
Then after sometimes..they went their home..
