Chapter 12 The Last Question
After asking, she watched me with great interest.
Beside her Ye Wangbai frowned unhappily. “That's not a good question. Change it.”
“Ye Wangbai, don't misunderstand. I'm just curious, that's all.”
I smiled. “I believe my husband would never betray me. Right, Ye Wangbai?”
Ye Wangbai nodded lightly.
In the darkness, half his face was hidden in the shadow of the trees.
He thought I couldn't see his expression.
So his face stayed blank, even carrying a trace of smugness.
I curved my lips. “I don't know the answer to that question, so I'll have to choose Dare.”
Song Mei looked a little disappointed.
She smiled. “Then just take a small sip of alcohol, Tang Xi. Don't worry, it's fruit wine—very low alcohol.”
She handed me the cup beside her.
“Nonsense! Tang Xi is pregnant. Pregnant women can't drink!”
I waved my hand and laughed. “Just one sip. It's fine.”
I wasn't an ordinary pregnant woman. This much alcohol meant nothing to me.
Next round, my turn to ask.
I looked at Ye Wangbai. “Ye Wangbai, if the child and I were in danger, would you sacrifice yourself to save us?”
“Of course!”
Under Song Mei's jealous stare, Ye Wangbai answered without hesitation.
“Tang Xi, in my heart nothing is more important than you and the children. You are my life.”
Hearing that, I hugged him, moved.
We played a few more rounds. It was getting late.
We agreed this would be the last round, then we would go rest.
It was my turn to ask Song Mei again.
I smiled and asked the question I had prepared long ago. “When was the last time you slept with someone?”
The moment the words left my mouth, both Ye Wangbai and Song Mei's faces changed.
Ye Wangbai shot Song Mei a sharp look.
So Song Mei reluctantly said, “I'll choose Dare.”
