Chapter 39 #5

There are stories that are easy to write because the ideas simply flow. And then there are stories like this one.

Stories that stay in your mind.

Stories that you carry with you even when you are not actively writing them.

This story is one of those.

First of all, thank you. Truly.

Thank you to everyone who patiently waited for an update even when there was nothing new to read. Thank you to those who continued checking on this story, leaving messages, sending encouragement, and reminding me that there are still people who want to see where Orm and Lingling's story will go.

I know waiting for an update can be frustrating, especially when a story suddenly goes quiet.

So, from the bottom of my heart...

Thank you for not giving up on this story.

And thank you to those who continue supporting not only this story, but also my other works. Every read, vote, comment, reaction, and message means more to me than you probably realize.

Sometimes, as a writer, you don't know whether the words you're putting on a page are still reaching anyone.

Then someone leaves a simple message saying, "I'm still waiting."

And somehow...

You find the strength to open the story again.

So yes.

I'm here again.

And I hope you'll continue this journey with me.

Because I want to remind everyone that this story was never meant to be a typical romance.

If you're looking for a simple love story where two people meet, fall in love, encounter a few problems, and eventually live happily ever after...

This may not be that story.

This story is deeper than that.

It is about the different sides of love.

The beautiful side.

The painful side.

The complicated side.

The kind of love that sometimes means holding on...

And sometimes means letting go.

The kind of love that can make you feel like the happiest person in the world and, at the same time, teach you the deepest kind of heartbreak.

It is about timing.

Sacrifice.

Forgiveness.

Healing.

Growing.

Choosing yourself.

Learning that loving someone doesn't always mean possessing them.

Sometimes, loving someone means allowing them to become the person they need to be-even if you aren't beside them while they do.

And sometimes...

Love finds its way back.

Not because the past suddenly disappeared, but because two people finally became strong enough to face it.

That's the kind of love I want to explore in this story.

Not perfect love.

Not easy love.

But real love.

Love that has scars.

Love that has consequences.

Love that changes people.

And perhaps, most importantly, love that teaches us that there can be more than one way to love someone.

So if this story feels different from what you're used to reading from me, I hope you'll give it a chance.

And if it's not your kind of story...

That's okay too.

We don't have to love every story we encounter.

We don't have to agree with every decision a character makes.

We don't even have to like the direction of the plot.

Behind every chapter is someone's time.

Someone's imagination.

Someone's emotions.

Someone sitting somewhere, trying to turn the voices in their head into words that other people can read.

Writers are human too.

We make mistakes.

We change our minds.

Sometimes we write something that doesn't connect with everyone.

And that's perfectly okay.

If this story isn't your cup of tea, if the plot isn't going in the direction you hoped for, or if you simply don't enjoy this kind of romance...

You are always free to walk away quietly.

You don't have to force yourself to continue reading.

And please, if you cannot leave a respectful comment, it is completely okay to leave silently.

You don't have to hurt someone just because you didn't like their work.

You don't have to tear down another person's effort simply because it wasn't meant for you.

There is already enough negativity in the world.

Let's not bring more of it into a place that was created for stories, imagination, and escape.

Instead, let's learn to appreciate one another's efforts.

A simple "thank you for the update" can mean so much.

A kind word can encourage a writer who is struggling.

And patience can give someone the courage to continue.

So, to everyone who stayed...

To everyone who waited...

To everyone who encouraged me to come back...

And to those who continue to support my stories despite my long pauses and unpredictable updates...

I appreciate you more than words can explain.

I hope that as we continue this story, you'll laugh with them, hurt with them, cry with them, and perhaps understand something about love along the way.

Because maybe that's what stories are supposed to do.

They don't always have to give us the love story we expect.

Sometimes...

They simply have to show us another side of love.

And maybe, somewhere between the heartbreak and the hope, we'll find a little piece of ourselves too.

So...

Welcome back to this story.

And welcome back to another journey with Orm and Lingling.

I don't know where this road will take us yet.

But I hope you'll continue walking beside me.
