Consider Me Impressed

I was all prepared, waiting for my Prince Charming. I kept glancing at the time; you can't imagine how much tidying up this girl did to her body just for tonight's date. I packaged myself like a Christmas present.

By 8 PM, I heard a knock on my door. I opened it since I was only a few feet away.

"Looks like you're Mister Punctuality," I said, taking in his attire. He wore a black suit, totally in black, making him tall and dark. He looked good in anything, and I still couldn't believe this Adonis wanted to go on a date with a simple bunny.

"Believe me, I've been standing on these doorsteps for over ten minutes, counting down until 8 PM. This is the first time I've been early in my life. I didn't want to be too early, so I had to appear right on time." He smiled, his eyes roaming over me.

"Aren't you such a gentleman?" I giggled.

"You look good, Bunny," he said, and I blushed.

"Still, can't be measured against you," I replied. I couldn't seem to be on his level. This was my most expensive gown, but I am sure it wouldn't even buy his cufflinks. He gently lifted my chin, and the moment his fingers touched my jaw, a spark ran through me.

"I've always imagined my ideal woman, but never in my wildest dreams could I create such a beautiful creature like you." My legs felt like jelly from the intensity of his gaze. "Everything about you draws me in. You eat? You're infinitely cute. You get annoyed? I can't get enough of it. Bunny, if cuteness had a face, I'm sure it would be yours."

I was speechless. What could I say to all these compliments? Honestly, I now believe I will look a lot finer if I looked in a mirror.

"Then again, you're not wrong. You can't be measured up to this being of perfection." He placed his hand on his chest.

"Egomaniac," I barked.

"Your one and only," he chuckled. "Let's get going, Bunny," he said, leading me downstairs.

"Rolls-Royce?" I said, eyes wide.

"I guess it's time you see how rich I really am," he said with a smile. Everyone in my neighborhood had their eyes on us like satellites. Well, I didn't blame them—this was my first time seeing a Rolls-Royce, and I'm sure it was theirs too.

"There are a lot more things to admire than the car," he said, watching me dumbfounded.

"I forgot you're one of the youngest billionaires," I said as he led me into the car. He opened the door like a gentleman before going to the other side to enter.

"Good evening, ma'am," the driver greeted, and I responded.

"Off you go, mister," Alfa said as the driver took off. I was amazed by how smoothly the car absorbed bumps. I had never been on a plane, but I imagined this was probably the closest thing. So I closed my eyes to imagine myself on a plane.

"I love the look on your face," he chuckled.

"Shush," I hissed, and I heard him gasp.

"Did you just shush me?" he asked. I nodded, still not opening my eyes.

"All I have to do is lay back, close my eyes, and I can perfectly imagine myself on a first-class flight," I said.

"Just like Jack made Rose believe she was flying while aboard a ship," he replied. "Does that make me your Jack?"

I glanced at him for a moment, then closed my eyes."No, you are not dying on this ship." I wasn't sure if this was a friendship or relationship, but he is so not dying.

"I guess I'll join in your imagination," he said.

I opened my eyes to see him doing exactly what I had been doing—eyes closed, head laid back. I saw the driver smiling at us in the rearview mirror, but I just shrugged and resumed my position.

I jerked when his hand enveloped mine. The warmth sent beautiful goosebumps all over me.

"During Naruto's mission with Hinata to rescue Hanabi, they both fell under a genjutsu (illusion). Naruto was able to connect to Hinata's memories because of the red scarf that intertwined the two." He gave my hand a slight squeeze as I remembered that moment. It was one of my favorite scenes.

"Now, I'm holding you as our eyes are closed, so we can connect to each other, just like Naruto and Hinata did," he said, and I felt more relaxed.

We fell into a comfortable silence, each lost in our imaginations. He just compared us to the greatest couple in the anime world. Did that make us a couple, or was he just living in the moment?

I wasn't sure how he saw me, but I was definitely connected to him in another plane of existence. God, please don't let this beautiful feeling be fleeting.

"Bunny, Bunny," I heard someone whisper in my ear. I was too comfortable to move, so I snuggled deeper into whatever I was resting on—it felt so cozy, and I loved the scent.

"Bunny, we've arrived."

How annoying, but I had to open my eyes. I gasped as I realized where I was and who I was with, and I jerked up.

I wiped my lips to check if I had been drooling. I must have fallen asleep while holding his hand. Oh Lord, I hoped I hadn't disgraced myself by snoring.

"Don't worry, you didn't drool. You can see my shoulders aren't wet," he said with a smirk.

I couldn't believe his shoulder was the comfortable thing I had been referring to. Damn, it felt so cozy.

"You didn't drool, but your mouth was a little open. Maybe that explains your two teeth, and you snored a little," he teased. I felt so embarrassed. How could he say that in front of the driver? I glanced his way to see that he was gone.

"Don't worry, we're all alone. He went to take care of some necessary arrangements," Alfa said, sounding content with the night.

"You've been quite happy, Mister," I pointed out.

"Well, when I think of the things I'm about to do to you, I can't help but grin from ear to ear," he said, laying back. I wasn't sure why, but his words made me excited too.

"So, where are we?" I asked, looking outside the window. Nothing seemed familiar. I saw some blinking lights, and it felt like we were in an open field.

"Somewhere," he said as a knock came on the window. He pressed the button to lower it.

"We're all set, sir," someone outside said, and it didn't sound like the driver.

"Am I safe?" I asked, and he narrowed his eyes at me with a smile.

"It depends. Now, wait. Let me open the door for you." He got out of the car and came around to open my door. "I've always wanted to do this," he said as he helped me out.

My eyes widened when I saw what was in front of me. Never in my imagination had I ever seen myself in this position.

"If this is your way of impressing me, consider me thoroughly impressed, Mister," I managed to say, still dumbfounded by what lay before me.
