Chapter Three
Feeling eyes on him, Justin glanced at a cabin nearby but saw nothing.
He turned back to the view and sipped his drink, then went over to the hot tub, seeing it bubbling away.
With a nod, he went back inside and stripped, then put his swimming shorts on, grabbed a glass, the bottle of champagne, and the chocolates, and went back outside.
The cold air hit his skin, and he shivered, but it wasn’t cold enough to stop him from enjoying the tub.
Placing his items on a small table next to the tub, Justin carefully stepped in and sank into the warm water.
With a soft sigh, he leaned back and reached over to pour himself a glass of champagne.
Taking his first sip, he closed his eyes and let his mind go quiet.
He wasn’t going to let the shadow of his relationship ruin his time here, but he did need to think about his future and where he wanted it to go.
A noise to his left had him opening his eyes and looking over.
He watched a tall man walk out onto his deck and sit in a chair.
Lowering his eyelids, Justin watched, unable to look away.
The man seemed taller, probably as tall if not taller than him, with a large hat on his head.
A thick sweater covered his body, and tight jeans made the man’s thighs appear huge.
“Hmm.” Justin sipped his champagne. “Nice, and absolutely not what I’m looking for.
Even for a night of fun.” After another sip, Justin sighed.
“Who am I kidding? I would love a night of being fucked by a man like him, and we all know he is not a bottom.” Another sip and another sigh.
“God, to be held down and pounded by a man like him.” Looking at his glass, he licked his lips.
“And I never realized I missed being fucked.”
Putting his glass down, he closed his eyes and let the warm water relax his muscles.
After the long drive, they were tight, so relaxing in the hot tub felt perfect.
And the champagne and chocolates helped.
He just had to forget why he had them, and looking at the hottie in the next cabin was a good distraction.
Sinking down in the water, Justin simply breathed and let the world disappear.
He ignored the sounds around him and let the warm water work its magic until he almost slipped under the surface because he’d been dozing.
Siting up, he had a piece of chocolate and sipped his drink and casually glanced over at the other cabin, seeing the man looking in his direction.
He lifted his hand and gave him a small wave, which was returned, and he had to smile at his own reaction.
The way his stomach clenched, and his dick perked up.
Maybe he should pop over at some point and introduce himself.
A vacation fling might just help him move on from Simon.
Not that he was sitting crying over the man.
Not now, but he definitely needed something to wipe the last traces of Simon and his cheating away.
Six months and Justin still felt his stomach roll when he thought about him.
“No more. It’s time to move on and let the gorgeous man over there give me the fucking I need. If he likes men, because I could be lusting after him and find out he’s straight.” The man glanced over at him and Justin ducked his head. “And now I’m hoping he has shit hearing.”
The man stood and walked back inside, and Justin couldn’t stop the sigh that slipped free as he watched the man’s long legs move.
When he was out of sight, Justin picked up his glass and took a long sip.
Putting the glass down, he closed his eyes and relaxed.
Then shot up when he felt the water ripple around him.
He stared, open-mouthed, as Simon smiled and slipped into the water. “Hey babe.”
“Hey babe?” Justin stood and got out, walking back inside and not giving a damn that he was wet or how cold he felt once he was out of the hot tub. “Get your shit and go.”
“Come on, Justin. Why don’t we talk and sort everything out? I’ve missed you and I know you’ve missed me. We’re good together.”
“How is Garry, or is there someone else now?” Justin held a hand up when Simon went to respond. “No, don’t. I don’t want to know. Get your things and leave, Simon. We’re done. We were done the second you decided you needed another man.”
Simon gave him a sad look and bit his bottom lip. “I made a mistake—”
“Which time?” Justin snapped. “And I know you cheated on the man you cheated on me with, so you can’t stay faithful at all. Why would I want to go back to that? Always wondering if you were being faithful to me or fucking around.”
“Justin,” Simon whined as he moved closer. “Don’t be like that. We all make mistakes. I made one but I’m here now and I want to try again. I miss you.”
“What? You make it sound like you picked the wrong laundry detergent. You slept around on me. We had unprotected sex, Simon. I had to get tested.”
“I always used condoms. I wouldn’t do that to you.”
“No, you just flashed your ass to any man who would have you.” Justin took a deep breath and then slowly released it. “I don’t want you here. We’re over. Get dressed, grab your bags, and go.”
Simon smiled and reached up to put his hands on Justin’s chest. “One night.”
“No.” He pushed Simon’s hands away, taking a step back, his jaw hardening. “Go, Simon. Now.”
“Look, babe. I know I fucked up, but we can start again. We can take things nice and slow. Learn to trust each other again.”
“What?” Justin spluttered. Did he hear Simon right?
“Learn to trust each other? You need to learn to trust me? I wasn’t the one sleeping with any man who so much as looked at me.
You cheated on me when I trusted you. I never cheated on you.
I never thought about it because I loved you and thought we had a future together.
There is no learning to trust each other. ”
“You weren’t always open with me, Justin. Some days, I had no idea what you were doing or who you were with.”
“That’s because I didn’t need to share every second of the day with you.
I never asked for details from you because I trusted you, and we might have been in a relationship together, but you were still your own person.
I didn’t need to know about everything in your life because we were in a relationship. ”
“You weren’t that interested in what I was doing.” Simon crossed his arms over his chest. “It made me feel like I didn’t matter.”
Justin’s eyes almost popped out of their sockets. “What the actual fuck! So, it’s my fault that you let any dick in your ass? Because I treated you like an actual fucking adult?”
“Don’t be like that. I didn’t mean it. You know you’re the one I want. We planned our future together. We can try again.”
“No.” Justin stepped back when Simon reached for him. “Get your things and go. We’re over.”
“I paid for this vacation—”
“And I gave you your half back,” Justin snapped. Taking a deep breath, Justin shook his head. “It’s over. It has been over for months. I don’t know what you thought you’d achieve by coming here. I could have been here with someone else, and you would have walked in on us together.”
“And joined in.” Simon smirked, then let it fall from his face when Justin glared at him. “It was only a thought.”
“Here’s a thought for you. Get the fuck out.” He couldn’t believe Simon had turned up after everything he’d done to Justin and their relationship and thought Justin would take him back. Delusional. “Get dressed and go.”
“Can’t I stay one night? It was a long drive here and I’m tired. I’ll go in the morning.”
“Oh, I get it. You’re hoping if you stay, then you can slip into bed with me later and I’ll be so hard up that I’ll fuck you because your ass is available. Not gonna happen.”
“You could never say no to me.” Simon smiled and sidled over to him, but Justin moved away. “Justin,” Simon whined. “Give me one last chance.”
“Just like you could never say no to any other man when you were with me. You can stay in a motel somewhere. I really don’t give a fuck what you do, but you’re not staying with me.”
Simon’s eyebrows drew low. “You don’t mean that. You love me. We had a great relationship, Justin, and we can get back to that if you just give us another chance.”
“No.” Justin didn’t add anything more. He didn’t think he needed to.
He’d made his position very clear. Their relationship was over, and Simon needed to leave now.
Justin walked over to the front door and stood watching Simon dress.
He picked his bag up and walked over to Justin, a scowl on his face.
Justin opened the door and held it for Simon to walk through, and when he had, Justin enjoyed slamming it shut behind him.
The sound held a note of finality to it, and Justin hoped Simon never appeared again. “Why did he come?”
Running a hand over his face, he went into his bedroom and stripped his shorts off, then lay on the bed.
Staring up at the ceiling, Justin heard an engine come to life, then the sounds of a car driving away.
Exhaling heavily, he sat up and placed his feet on the floor and let his head sag until he heard a knock on the door.
Frowning, he stood and picked up his discarded shorts and a T-shirt and pulled it on as he walked out of the bedroom and toward the front door.
“This had better not be Simon with some poor excuse as to why he’s come back.
” Opening it, he looked up and up then into gorgeous deep blue eyes.
“Hi,” he whispered in awe at the gorgeous man standing in front of him.
The man from the cabin next to him smiled, and Justin had to stop his knees from shaking. “Hi,” he said as he smiled. “I heard raised voices and wanted to make sure you were okay.”
“Do you want to come in?” He glanced down at his bare legs, then smiled at the tall, hot, and gorgeous man.
With a large hat on his head. Understandable given the weather, but it did look a little strange.
Maybe bulky? Justin stepped to one side and let the man in, his eyes dropping to his ass when he walked past. Licking his lips at what he thought was a spectacular ass, Justin closed the door and went to his bedroom to quickly pull on some jeans.
“Act cool, Justin. You can handle the hottie from next door.”
Walking out of the bedroom, he stopped when he saw the man bent over, poking at the fire. “Damn,” he murmured. The man’s ass looked fantastic, and Justin wanted to see him with no clothes on. “Can I get you a drink?” Say yes, then I can get to spend more time with you!
The man straightened and smiled, and Justin wanted to sigh, but managed to keep quiet. “Please. By the way, I’m Eteriion.”
“Justin, and that’s an interesting name.”
“I’m not from around here.” Eteriion walked over to him and Justin stared at him, unable to tear his eyes away. “Where are you from?”
“Not here,” Justin murmured, then blinked and smiled. “Coffee or some champagne? I have some outside.”
“Coffee would be nice, thanks. How long are you here for?”
Justin didn’t answer until Eteriion’s smile widened, then he turned away and ignored the heat in his cheeks. “Long enough, hopefully,” he whispered, because he really wanted to know what Eteriion hid beneath his jeans.
