Chapter Four

“Long enough, hopefully,” Justin whispered, but Eteriion heard. Eyes moving over Justin’s body, he had the exact same thought. Having seen the human in just his shorts, he wanted to strip them off—with his teeth—then lick him all over, tasting every inch of his delectable body.

“Are you okay?” He wanted to know who the other man was and if Justin was with him. “I heard raised voices…”

“The ex who wants to try again, but it’s not going to happen.”

“How come, if you don’t mind me asking?”

“He liked me, but he also liked other men.”

So, the other man couldn’t remain faithful, which would explain the raised voices that had led Eteriion out of his cabin and over to Justin’s.

He watched Justin make their drinks, his eyes roaming over the human’s body.

Tall and broad, with short blond hair swept to one side and intense hazel eyes that Eteriion wanted to stare into as they did other things together.

Things that required them to be naked, which wouldn’t happen because Eteriion wasn’t human, and he had tentacles.

Sighing softly, he smiled when Justin asked if he wanted milk and sugar. “Just milk, please.” He would have to settle for watching Justin in the hot tub. Not stalkerish at all, but he knew what would happen if Justin saw his tentacles.

“Here you are.” Justin handed him his coffee and walked over to the sofa in front of the fire. Eteriion followed and sat on the one opposite Justin and watched the human sip his coffee as he watched the fire. “Are you here on vacation?”

“No, I live in the cabin next door. I’ve been here about five years now. Nice place and great people.”

“I’ve been thinking about going to the town to see what they have there.”

“You should try Elise’s place. She cooks the best breakfasts.

I try to go a couple of times a week.” Or he had, before loneliness had set in.

He watched the fire and contemplated what he was going to do if he couldn’t find a way home.

The thought of living the rest of his life alone depressed him, but at least he wasn’t stuck in some lab having tests performed on him.

That would be infinitely worse, so he had to make the best of what he had and watch the man sitting opposite.

And find some form of contentment with that.

Justin glanced at him, then away, a faint blush on his cheeks, and Eteriion inhaled, taking in the sweet scent of the other man’s arousal. And wanted to do something about it but remained where he was. “How long are you here for?”

“Two weeks. I needed a break after a not-so-great few months.”

“Would that be with the man who left?” Eteriion saw the wince on Justin’s face. “You don’t have to say anything.”

“No, it’s not that. I never expected him to come here. We broke up months ago, and he’d moved on, or so I thought.” Justin glanced down. “He’d moved on before we even broke up.”

“I’m sorry to hear that. It can’t be easy to believe one thing, when the opposite is occurring. I take it you don’t want him back?” Eteriion watched Justin’s face harden. He shook his head once, then sipped his drink. “I see. Well, if you need a guide while you’re here, I can help.”

“I’m sure you have better things to do than show me around. I’m only here for two weeks.”

“You have a hot tub that works.”

Justin chuckled, a small smile on his face. “I see.”

“We both get something out of it.” Eteriion finished his drink, then glanced at his empty cup.

“Let me make your coffee, then we can talk more.”

Eteriion followed Justin into the kitchen and leaned on the counter, watching the human make his drink.

His eyes traveled over Justin’s body, watching the fluid way he moved.

Licking his lips, he imagined holding him down with his tentacles as he thrust deep inside, then pushed those thoughts away.

It wasn’t going to happen, so why torture himself with images of them being intimate?

Justin passed him his coffee, and they went back to where they had been sitting minutes earlier.

Sipping his coffee, Eteriion sighed and watched Justin sip his drink as he stared into the fire.

A quick glance his way and a soft smile, and Eteriion could sense the sadness coming from Justin. “Do you want him back?”

Justin’s eyes shot to his, and he gave a one shoulder shrug. “It doesn’t matter. Once the trust is gone, it’s very hard to build it again, and he hadn’t been faithful, so I would never be able to trust him to not sleep around.”

“Do you think he wanted one of those…what do you call it? Open relationship?”

“I wouldn’t have been with him if that was what he wanted. I’m a one man guy.” Justin watched him then gave a soft snort. “My sexuality doesn’t bother you?”

“I prefer men as well, but I can tell you’ve been hurt. Sometimes it’s easier to speak to a stranger.”

“Sometimes,” Justin murmured. Eteriion watched Justin stare at the cup he held in his hand and wondered if he should stay or go.

The incident with his ex had clearly had an effect on him and he may need time alone.

Eteriion moved to stand when Justin said, “I thought after six months he would have forgotten about this vacation. I was surprised to see him and it made me realize I was right to walk away. He’d cheated on me more than once and I never knew. ”

“I’m sorry you were hurt.”

“I was hurt, then angry over what he’d done. He’d put me at risk…” Justin trailed off, his eyes skating away. “I should stop now.”

“Only if you want to. I don’t mind listening. It can be a little lonely up here, so it’s nice to talk, and you look like you need to talk.”

Eteriion heard the sigh Justin made. “Some days I feel like I’ve talked through it all and moved on.”

“Then he showed up unannounced.”

“Yeah.” Justin shook his head. “What made him think I would take him back after what he’d done?

I lost my relationship, and my home, and friends too because of what he’d told them after I’d ended our relationship.

Why would I stay with him when he was having sex with other men behind my back?

” Justin stopped talking and took a sip of his drink.

“I thought I was over this and here I am regurgitating over it.”

“It is as you have said. You weren’t expecting him to arrive here unannounced.”

“I think I’ll take you up on your offer to show me the place. The views are spectacular.”

“If you have the right equipment, I can take you hiking along the base of the mountains, unless you can climb?”

“No,” Justin laughed softly. “I can walk though, and I have my hiking boots, so we’re good.”

“And a functioning hot tub.”

Justin laughed louder that time. “You miss yours?”

“I will have it fixed soon. It’s nice to relax in as darkness falls.

” Eteriion took a mouthful of coffee, his eyes glued on Justin.

Justin noticed his blush deepening. “I should get going so you can go back to enjoying your time in the tub.” Eteriion stood and walked into the kitchen area, placing his mug in the sink.

“Thank you for the drink.” He turned to face Justin, surprised by how close he was behind him.

“Please let me know when you want to go and see the mountains.”

Justin nodded as he licked his lips, then stepped to one side so Eteriion could walk past. “Thanks for coming over to check on me. Sorry I talked about… stuff.”

“I’m here whenever you want to talk.” Eteriion walked over to the door and opened it.

“Speak soon.” He walked out and made his way back to his own cabin, turning to look back at Justin's when he reached it. The door was shut and Eteriion felt strangely disappointed that Justin hadn’t stayed to watch, but they’d only just met, and Justin had had a shock with the cheating ex turning up unannounced.

But hopefully they would meet again and Eteriion could spend more time with the gorgeous human staying next door to him. He had two weeks to get to know him.

But for what?

It wasn’t like he was going to reveal his secret and tell Justin exactly what he was. Oh, and show off the tentacles. That would go over so well. He could see it now. Kissing Justin, feeling his breath against his lips, then the tentacles got involved and Justin ran away screaming. Wonderful.

Inside his own cabin, Eteriion strode to his bedroom and quickly stripped off his clothes and lay naked on his bed.

His erection lay hot and heavy against his abs, and he took it in his hands, slowly sliding his hand up and down, feeling his pre-come oozing free.

His pre-come helped relax the muscles and acted as lubrication so they had no need for any.

The thought of spreading out above Justin, feeling his naked body below his, his legs spread wide as Eteriion thrust repeatedly inside his tight hole.

Biting his lip, he stroked faster, his dick jerking in his hands, his tentacles sliding over his body to pluck his nipples, teasing them, causing the nubs to harden.

Eteriion hissed in pleasure, his dick leaking, and he stroked faster, his grip tightening around the shaft.

His mind went to Justin as he’d seen him in the hot tub.

Virtually naked, body wet and eager for Eteriion to fill it.

Tight ass clenching around his dick as he thrust in deep.

A low groan filled the air as Eteriion came, and he lay on the bed, panting softly as his dick softened.

“I need sex.” He hadn’t had sex in years, and no one had interested him until Justin.

A human who had been hurt and had come away to heal.

Opening his eyes, Eteriion let his dick slide from his hand and exhaled.

“I want to help him, but it will never happen.” His tentacles wrapped around his body, and he hugged himself as the depth of his loneliness sank deep inside.

He appreciated the humans around him, but he missed having that special someone.

He’d had a partner back on his home world, and when things had begun to go wrong, he’d taken the mission to observe life on Earth, so they could have a break from one another.

He’d never anticipated having to live on here though.

And not for five years. “Probably more.”

Sitting up, he ignored the drying come on his body and dropped his head into his hands, his tentacles wrapping around his arms, then his head snapped up when he heard a soft knock on his front door.

Jumping up, he ran into the bathroom and grabbed a towel to wipe his body, then rushed back into the bedroom and quickly dressed and shoved his tentacles in his hat.

By the time he ran to the door, he was hot and bothered.

Taking a deep breath, he opened it and smiled when he saw Justin stood there. “Hi.”

“I was wondering if you wanted to eat.” Justin shifted on his feet, his nerves evident. “You know. With me. Tonight. I have steak. Do you like steak?”

“Steak would be great. Do you want me to bring anything?”

“No, I have everything, but thanks for offering. Say fifteen minutes or do you need longer?”

“I’ll be there in fifteen and thank you for asking me.”

Justin smiled, then turned back to his cabin and Eteriion closed the door, then sagged back against it, a smile curving his lips.

“I have a date. I think.” Looking down at his rumpled clothes, he grinned.

“I have fifteen minutes to find something to wear that will impress the gorgeous human next door.”
