Chapter Seven
Neith
“Oh, and what would you like to do instead of sleep?” Reed asks, his voice a rumble in my ear, before his lips trail down my neck, and my ass pushes back firmly against him, making his hand tighten.
“You,” I manage to say.
So quickly, I barely have time to register what has fucking happened, Reed flips me, and I find myself staring up into his gorgeous eyes. My hand cups his face, and his eyes close briefly.
He leans down, his hips pressed against mine, and his arms keeping the rest of his weight off me as he kisses me. The kiss starts off gently but doesn’t stay that way for long.
He inhales sharply as my hand moves between us to take a hold of his dick, and as I start to move, he nips my lip, making my hips buck with the zing of pleasure it creates.
He breaks the kiss, his lips moving down my neck, and briefly pausing to give each of my boobs attention before he continues down and I’m forced to let go of his dick.
Tugging on his hair, he looks up at me with heated eyes. “Switch places with me?”
He doesn’t ask any questions, simply lies down on his back, watching me curiously. His eyes flare with heat when I smirk and then straddle him, my pussy over his face and his dick right where I want him.
Taking him in my mouth, his hips buck, and I moan as his hands grip my ass, his tongue finding my clit and sucking it into his mouth, making me almost see stars.
I continue to move, using my hand to help as I swirl my tongue around the tip of his dick and then take him in as far as I can.
Reed’s hips buck, and growls.
His tongue moves faster as he pumps his fingers into my soaked heat, making my walls clench around him.
He moves so his thumb, covered in my slick heat, pushes into my ass at the same time as his fingers move in my pussy.
He moves his thumb in a circling motion as his fingers continue to pump and his tongue swirls my clit.
I release his dick as wave after wave of pleasure crashes over me, and I cry out his name, my nails digging into his thighs.
When I finally come back down to earth, he moves me so that I’m straddling him the right way this time, and I sink down onto his dick. My head falls backward as he slowly stretches me in the most delicious way. He sits up, with me still on his dick as he leans back against the headboard.
My eyes meet his, and I grin as I place my hands on either side of him, holding onto the top of the headboard and slowly rocking my hips. His eyes drop to half-mast as he groans, his hands clenching on my hips.
Moving faster, I feel my orgasm start to build again, as he lifts his hips to meet mine. His hand wraps around my neck as he brings my lips to meet his in a fierce kiss. We move together, faster and faster, until we’re screaming each other's names and collapsing in a sweaty and exhausted heap.
My eyes slowly open, and then I curse, “Fuck.”
Reed looks at me, concerned, and then looks around at the room. “Oh, well, that’s interesting.”
The room is destroyed, everything that was once standing isn't anymore, and the bed is fucking floating. While balls of what I'm assuming is magic float around the room.
“At least nothing is on fire,” I mutter, just as the curtains go up in flames. “Shit.”
Reed chuckles.
I call the magic back to me, and half of the magic floating balls disappear too, as the bed hits the floor with a bang.
“I guess the rest of them are mine,” Reed says, sounding far too amused by the situation. I feel his magic flare and then the rest of the magic balls disappear and we’re just left with the mess.
“Whoops?” I mutter.
Reed laughs and kisses me on the forehead. “Let’s sort this out so we can get some sleep.”
“Good idea,” I reply, but I don’t move. He raises his eyebrow at me, and I add, “I don’t want to move.”
“Me neither,” he admits, as he pulls me down so that he can kiss me again.
We both grumble as we get up and clean up the mess we made, however, it’s far more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be because I get to watch Reed’s ass completely unrestricted by clothes.
Yum.
After cleaning up, we curl up together again, Reed wrapped around me, as he once again kisses my bare shoulder, making me smile.
I fall asleep feeling so incredibly safe.

“Alright, what’s the plan then?” Doc asks the next morning as we all sit around the table having breakfast.
Van clears his throat, “We need to find Pete and Murray. I would be inclined to find Pete first, especially since Navy said that it was important that we find him as quickly as possible and that he was in danger."
“Good point,” Reed replies. “I think that it’s possible that he’s in danger because of Murray, so we may get lucky, and it could be a case of two birds and one stone.”
“Which will be great so long as it doesn’t mean that we’re too late,” I reply with a frown.
“Has Kar managed to narrow down the location yet?” Van asks me as he takes another bite of toast.
I shake my head, “No, I haven’t heard anything yet. I’ll give him a text now and see if he’s got anything new to tell us.”
“He would have messaged already if he had, but you know, Kar, it can’t hurt to let him know that we need a rush on the info,” Coen reminds me.
I nod and pull out my phone, sending a quick message to Karhu.
“It will probably take him a while to respond, especially if he’s deep diving into the job.
If it’s a particularly interesting job, then he gets so absorbed in figuring it out that he tends to forget to do things like update the relevant people, or eat, ” I pause and grimace slightly, “or bathe. I love Kar like a brother, but dude gets funky when he gets obsessed with a case and forgets basic hygiene.”
“Fortunately, he is incredibly good at what he does, so it isn’t often that something challenges him and he ends up deep diving into a case,” Coen adds with a fond smile.
We’ve both been there at times to shove food in Karhu’s face or force him into the shower because neither of us can stand the stink anymore.
“Which means, if he has deep dived, then Pete is giving him more trouble than he anticipated,” River points out.
“It would make sense that he is difficult to find,” Reed agrees.
"I mean, he has managed to stay hidden in the Earth Realm for a really long time, and there’s a good chance that Casimir has been trying to find him.
So he has had to know how to stay hidden and stop himself from being located by magic or technology. ”
“He’s also a species of demon that we know nothing about, so for all we know it could be a part of his skillset,” Raiden speculates thoughtfully, and I know that he’s added it to the list of things that he wants to look into.
At this point, that list has to be taller than I am.
Easily.
“So, what are we going to do until Kar gets back to us?” Ransom asks.
“I guess we should go over the wolf file that Rana sent over. I want to make sure that the team that takes over the case has as much information as they possibly can. One, to ensure success, but also to ease the amount of interaction that Rana has with the agents so that she doesn’t have to have any more involvement than she actually wants to have.
It won't be easy for her to deal with them. Agents can be prickly and quite brusque, and Rana is most likely teetering on a knife-edge with her emotions, and is already overwhelmed because of how different everything is for her now. I don’t want to make it any harder for her,” I explain.
It's something that I’ve been concerned about with us no longer working on the case.
It really doesn’t sit right with me, but there’s not much else that we can do about it. We’re supposed to be here in Ireland, Navy was very clear about that, and she hasn’t steered us wrong yet.
“Let's do that then. You sent us all the file that Rana sent you, right?” River asks, easily understanding where I’m coming from.
I nod, “Yes, well, Griff did it for me because the mystical powers of most technology elude me.”
The guys smirk as Van says, “That’s a fancy way to say that you have absolutely no idea what you’re doing when it comes to almost anything technological.”
I shrug, trying to hide my smile, “Yeah, that’s what I said.”
“I’ll make some more coffee,” Reed suggests, still smiling as he pushes away from the table.
“If it’s okay with you guys, I’m going to read it in my room. I want to take notes, and everything I need is up there. Plus, I don’t know if you guys have noticed this about me or not,” I tease, “but I get distracted really easily, and some of you are still shirtless.”
Coen’s smile widens as he sees that my gaze is currently on him, and he holds my gaze as he stretches his arms above his head, pretending to stretch. I narrow my eyes slightly. I know what he’s doing, he’s trying to distract me, but I will not break eye contact.
I am firm in my resolve.
It won’t happen.
And I broke eye contact.
I’m not even a tiny bit sorry. The way that he’s stretching is making his muscles pop in the most delicious way, and quite frankly, I want to climb onto his lap and ride him.
Right now, I don’t give a fuck that the others are here. In fact, the idea of them watching turns me on in a way that I didn’t think it would.
Damn.
I force my gaze away from River when I hear a sharp inhale, and my eyes collide with Camden’s golden, heated gaze.
His incubus has come out to play, as my smile begins to widen, ready to poke the beast and throw all caution to the wind, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. When they open again, they’re still full of heat, but they’re no longer gold.
I tilt my head to the side ever so slightly.
Challenge accepted, Camden.
He must see something in my expression because his eyes flash gold again.
Oh, it will be so much fun to push him and play with him until he stops holding back.
I get it, incubus can be dangerous, deadly even. Especially ones as strong as Camden is, and we know I’m strong, but we don’t know if I can handle him.
Well, he doesn’t know whether I can handle him in full incubus mode. I know I can, he would never hurt me, and I would be willing to bet my life on that. I also know that I am more than strong enough to handle him in full incubus mode, and that’s an instinct, not a hope.
We’ll work on it.
“Neith?” Raiden asks, his eyebrows dipped slightly.
I shake my head slightly, as if to physically bring myself out of my thoughts, but keep my gaze locked on Camden, standing up, a wicked smile crosses my features, and Coen and Vans eyes narrow slightly with suspicion, they know me far too well.
“Sorry, my mind was elsewhere. I was just thinking over options for what to do to make Doc let go of that iron-clad control he has over his incubus,” I say slowly.
River leans back in his chair with a pleased smile on his face, as Ransom smirks, crossing his arms over his chest, his eyes darting between the two of us while everyone else just watches.
“What makes you think that I need to let go?” Doc asks, his eyes on mine.
A sane person would have walked around the table at this point, it would have had the same effect.
I don’t.
I’m not sane.
I never claimed to be, quite the opposite.
Using my magic to give me a little boost, I step up onto the table and then walk across it to where he’s watching me from, looking slightly shocked. Which makes someone chuckle quietly.
Sitting down on the table and pulling him close, my feet balanced on either side of his thighs on the edge of his chair, his hands grip my hips, I grin.
I take hold of his chin in my hands and lean forward, my lips meeting his, and his grip tightens as his tongue tangles with mine, and I feel his incubus start to edge forward.
We’re not close enough.
I slip off the table, landing in his lap, and rock my hips. My core moves against his dick, making us both groan slightly as he deepens the kiss, and my nails dig into his shoulders.
I suddenly find myself airborne, his lips never leaving mine, as he lays me down on the thankfully cleared table. I don’t give a shit right now if I have bacon in my hair, but I probably would later.
That’s a lie.
Bacon is the perfect after sex snack. I wouldn't care if I found some in my hair.
For fuck sake, even during a hot as fuck make out session, my brain rambles.
Cam nips my lip, and my brain shuts up like fucking magic.
His hand moves up my side, taking my shirt with it, and I immediately tug at his, he whips it off, and mine. Barely breaking the kiss as his hand wraps around my throat and my back arches, fucking hell, I love that.
He pulls back and moves away from me, his chest heaving, his golden gaze watching me like I’m prey. It takes me a moment for my brain to click back online and remember that I was trying to make a point.
I prop myself up on my elbows. I’m aware I’m shirtless, and I’m aware that the guys are all still in here watching me closely, their gazes filled with desire.
My attention is on Camden, though.
“That’s why,” I say as I sit up and scoot to the edge of the table.
He doesn’t move away, the tension in his body is rigid, and his gaze tracks my every movement.
It’s hot as fuck.
Putting my hand on his chest, I look up at him.
“You’re mine, right?” I ask.
He nods, his voice has a distinctive growl to it as he replies, “Yes.”
My smile turns sharp, “Then prove it.”
I move around him, and my fingertips trail over Ransom and Raiden’s shoulders as I pass them to get to the door. Looking over my shoulder, my gaze once again connects with his. “Your move, Camden.”
His gold eyes darken.
I turn around and shimmy out of the room.
“That was the hottest thing I have ever seen. How the fuck did we get so fucking lucky to call her ours?” Raiden asks the moment that I’m out of the door. “If you don’t go after her man, I swear to fucking everything that I fucking will.”
A fierce growl echoes throughout the house, rattling the picture on the walls. It should terrify me.
It does the opposite, my thighs clench, my clit pulses, and I let out a quiet moan as I pause in the hallway. That sound does something to me that I can’t quite explain, but that I fucking love.
I’m reminded of just how well the guys can hear when several groans sound from the kitchen, and I hear several chairs scrape back from the table before the growl of warning rumbles again.
I turn around just in time to see Camden stride through the door.
I don’t think, I just act as I race toward him and launch myself at him.
