Kai

‘Idiot! Why’d you wanna go no contact these last two weeks?

What a stupid thing to do,’ I think with a sigh.

‘But, it’s almost over. Just one more final and then I can see him Saturday.

Even if it’s just a quick hug and a sneaky kiss, it’ll be worth it,’ I reminded myself as I dove back into studying.

I took another drink of the long since watered down iced coffee as I went into the next quizlet for ‘Intro into Social Work’.

There was an annoying buzzing coming from somewhere that I kept tuning out.

I push forward with studying, my coffee cup now empty and my eyes heavy.

I turned the page of the book, laying my head down on the pages.

‘Just need to rest my eyes for five minutes,’ was the last thing I thought as my eyes slipped closed.

The sun coming in from the window was annoying.

Shaking my head, I felt the aches of sleeping in an awkward position.

Sitting up, I pulled the plastic wrapper off my face.

Taking in my surroundings with wide eyes, ‘FUCK, what time is it? I fell asleep in the middle of studying…fuck, fuck, fuck!’ I thought with a groan.

I looked at the clock, saw that it was 8:25 AM and started quickly collecting my things, throwing everything in my bag.

Calculating that it was at least a 20 min drive to the building for my exam, I jumped up, shoving my feet in my Chucks and breaking out into a run, thinking, ‘I can NOT miss this exam.’

Sliding into the classroom just as the door was closing, the professor looked me up and down. Taking in my disheveled look, he sneered as he said, “Nice of you to join us, Sullivan.”

Instead of snapping back a retort, I just rolled my eyes and headed to my seat. Professor Dickface doesn’t like me anyway, and the feeling is mutual. I’ll be glad to be done with him.

As I take my seat, I glance at the picture of Maddox on my lock screen. ‘I’m ready,’ I think as I notice I have a lot of notifications. ‘Is that really 14 missed calls and 45 texts from Melody? What the hell is happening?’

I was thinking of checking to make sure she doesn’t need me when I hear the professor clearing his throat. ‘Fuck! It’s gotta wait. I just hope it’s not anything important,’ I think as I slip my phone in my pocket.

The professor handed out the exam booklets and I shook the thoughts of missed notifications from my head. ‘Focus, you’ve got this,’ I thought as I started my exam. Two hours and a confidence dump later, I trudged out of the building, thinking ‘I totally failed that.’

It’s as I was walking to my car that I heard a voice that stopped me in my tracks, “Why so blue, Kitten?”

Whipping my head around my vision is filled with my cocky blue-eyed Khayos leaning against Ollie’s truck holding an iced coffee. ‘He could only know about that if he talked to Mel.’

I walk slowly over to him, still not sure that I’m not dreaming.

I take the offered cup and take a long drink before setting it on the top of the truck.

Looking down at Maddox, I stutter out, “H-how? What? How?” and then remember all the notifications.

Pulling my phone out of my pocket, I quickly scan over the missed texts.

“Melody tried to tell me. Is this real, you’re free?” I ask, giving in and pulling Maddox towards me.

Maddox wrapped his arms around me as he buried his head into my neck as he says, “Yeah, Kitten. I’m home. We’re free.”

I tilt his head up, staring into his eyes before pulling him into a kiss filled with promise. Maddox climbed me like a tree and I held him tighter, getting a handful of the ass I’ve missed for so long.

We had done it. I was free for the next few weeks and Maddox was free and back where he belongs.

Breaking apart, I let Maddox down, pressing my forehead to his as I take in my favorite scent.

Letting Maddox go, he opens the door for me to climb in before running around to the driver’s side.

Once settled, he started the truck as I slid over, pressing into Maddox’s side as he drove.

‘I’m gonna spend the rest of my life touching him as often as possible,’ I think, looking at Dax one more time before I lay my head on his shoulder and say the words I’ve been wanting to say for months, “Baby? Take me home.”

Maddox

The drive home was short, but the excitement in his voice when he got to say those words was infectious. Pulling up in front of the building, Kai looks at me like he’s expecting me to disappear. Smiling, I squeeze his hand as I say, “Not goin’ anywhere. Now, show me our new spot.”

Kissing the back of my hand, he opens the door and climbs out of the truck, immediately grabbing my hand as soon as I’ve closed my door.

We take the stairs hand in hand. ‘I don’t think he is ever gonna stop touchin’ me,’ I think as he unlocks the door.

In a sudden move, I surprise him, sweeping him up and carrying him over the threshold.

Squealing, he breaks into a fit of giggles, screeching out, “Dax, put me down!” I shake my head no as I walk over to the couch and drop him onto soft cushions.

‘His giggle is cute,’ I think, pausing to look around.

It’s simple and some would say it’s small.

I guess that the bathroom and bedroom are down the hallway since the kitchen, dining room, and living room are set up like one big room.

Taking a closer look I find myself staring at my drawings hanging everywhere.

The wildflower sketch is the first thing I see.

Turning my head I spot a desk in the corner, covered in coffee cups, books and papers.

Turning again towards the kitchen, I see more coffee cups and a few other dishes in the sink.

‘If I was a betting man, I’d bet that the bed is made, meaning he didn’t sleep in it,’ I think as I look back towards where Kai sits quietly as I take in our space.

Eyeing a lone pizza box on the coffee table, “Darlin’, I don’t see one food wrapper or one bottle of water, and how much sleep have you been gettin’?” I ask, watching as he shifts his gaze away from me.

Shaking my head, I sigh, “I figured as much. What was the deal with us goin’ no contact?”

Kai looks at the ground shamefully, “Eat, sleep, water,” he mumbles.

I move so that I am standing in front of him, sliding two fingers under his chin, I tip his head up slightly so he’s looking at me, “How much coffee, Kitten?”

He closes his eyes, slowly opens them again, as he answers, “Too much. I shoulda got a message to you. Two weeks was too long.”

Pushing him back gently, I climb into his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck.

Sucking my teeth, I hold eye contact, “Okay, here’s what we’re gonna do.

We’re gonna go lay down. I’m gonna hold you while you sleep.

Then we’re gonna shower, get dressed up and go on a real date.

You and me, sit down, eat dinner at a table.

Then we’ll come back here and I am gonna ride ya ‘til I can’t move. ”

Kai’s eyes light up as I finish telling him the plan, “A real date? Like out in public?” he asks, wonder filling his voice. “But, what about Mack?” he continues hesitantly.

I reach up, brushing a curl off his forehead. “He’s no longer a threat. We’re totally free, Milyy,” I say, grabbing his hand to pull him down the hallway to bed. I was right, bed made and not slept in.

Trailing my eyes over every inch of exposed skin as he strips down, I follow his lead.

Once naked, we crawl into bed and I lay on my back getting settled as he scrambles to put head on my chest and wrap his long arms around me.

Sighing in contentment, I card my fingers through his curls and he’s out in moments.

Without meaning to, I follow quickly behind him, needing this as much as he does.

Hours later, we wake to a darkening room and I feel my cock pressed up against Kai’s ass.

He shifts slightly, smooth skin rubbing against the head of my cock dragging a soft moan from me.

He presses back and wiggles, blood rushing to my hardening cock at the feeling.

‘Is he awake? Is he doing this on purpose? I mean, I’ve never topped before, but maybe I could? Would he want me to?’ I ask myself.

He shifts back again, and I have my answer, he’s awake. “Watchya doin’, Kitten?” I ask softly.

“Nothin’,” he answers sweetly. “Just tryin’ to get comfy again,” he continues, rolling onto his stomach and watching me as I prop myself up on my elbow, eyeing him.

Wiggling again, I hear him softly ask, “Khayos? Would you ever wanna fuck me?” as he looks up at me, puppy dog eyes in full effect. ‘I would never deny him anything, he knows that,’ I think with a smile.

“Maybe. Never really thought about it,” I say, stroking his back. I feel a slightly uneven spot and turn my head to look, finding my hand tracing over a tattoo. “Um, Kotenok, there seems to be somethin’ on your back.”

Burying his face in my chest, I feel the shy smile spread across his face, “Surprise?” he mumbles, the words muffled against my skin.

Shifting to look over the tattoo, I see the words ‘Revel in the Khayos’ and my mouth drops open in shock.

‘He put my name on him. Holy shit! My name is on him! Permanently!’ I think, tracing the letters of my name as I move to get a closer look.

The lines are clean and crisp. “Darlin’ it’s beautiful. Who did it?” I ask.

“Andrei. Maddy was busy and I didn’t trust anyone else,” he shrugs as he explains.

“I love it, Kitten. But from now on, I’m the only one to ink you. Ponyatno?” I demand.

“Da, Xaoc. Calm down. It’s not like I was naked,” he says and I growl, moving to straddle his hips from behind. I kiss and nip at his neck and down his back, tracing the words softly with my fingertips before kissing the spot that says ‘Khayos’.

Glancing over at the clock on the nightstand, reading that it’s almost 7:00 PM as my stomach rumbles. ‘If I’m hungry then I know he has to be hungry too,’ I think.
