Chapter Kégo

Kégo

That bitch couldn’t have been that clueless. There was no way she didn’t suspect anything fishy goin’ down right under her nose. First off, she was fuckin’ my sister, and I know bitches. They pillow talked like a muthafucka. Twin definitely mentioned Hades and prolly more than once.

Alexis thought we were goin’ to Nashville to get my brotha when all we did was go downtown to the casino. Me and the boys hadn’t had time to kick our feet up for real, so we used that time to do so.

Hades met us there once he got things squared away with Papa. They held a brief conversation about the layout of the warehouse. After that, we had a blast in that fuckin’ casino.

Tipsy wasn’t the word to describe the state I was in, and neither was drunk, but a nigga was unstable than a muthafucka. Words weren’t slurred, but they were shouted. Yeah, I was almost there.

I was about to observe my brotha in his element. The damage that nigga was fixing to inflict on Alexis had me enthused as hell.

“Aye, blow that for me,” I told some big booty bitch that had clung to me since I started hittin’ them numbers.

The craps table was fuckin’ with a nigga that night. I had drawn a crowd, so all eyes were on me. I was showin’ my ass in that damn casino. Them rich white men wanted to put me out so bad but couldn’t.

The Elixir was owned by none other than my family. As an Ortiz, our investments didn’t stop. We owned more businesses than one could count, especially along the eastern and central zones.

“It’s ’bout that time, Kégo,” one of my shootas pointed out.

I nodded and threw the dice on the table. I couldn’t turn around good before the bitch was in my face asking for a piece of my earnings. Bitches of her kind didn’t get shit out of me but dick.

“Bitch, you ain’t sucked no dick but fixin’ yo’ mouth to ask a nigga for his bread. If you don’t get the fuck on.” I wasn’t a rude nigga, but when bitches got on their bullshit, I got on mine.

“Nigga, fuck you. This was a come up for you anyway,” she threw back.

“Nah, but fuckin’ with a nigga like me, it would’ve been yours,” I said with a smirk on my face.

Females saw a nigga with money and got all outside their body. It was the boldness for me. I guess they didn’t give a fuck ’bout embarrassment nowadays.

Hades stood by the door with his hands occupying his pockets. That soft preacher boy I saw when we first arrived in the States had completely vanished. The man that was in front of me didn’t think twice on ending people’s shit.

In this state, people didn’t know what to expect. His tolerance for bullshit was null and void. I saw him kill one of my lieutenants off a hunch he had. Down the line, his hunch was spot on, but we didn’t know that beforehand.

I wouldn’t say my brotha was crazy, but he didn’t have all his marbles when he was in Hades mode. Asking him if he was ready wasn’t necessary.

We walked out the casino as a group and in silence. Everyone had flipped their switch, and the fun was pushed to the side. A body, or possible bodies, were droppin’ tonight. In order for that to happen, no mistake was to be made.

Alexis had men that chose the winning team. Whoever had the upper hand was who they stood for. As of my men, they knew what the fuck loyalty meant. Clear the room if a threat was opposed.

Two blacked-out Yukon trucks held the crew. I didn’t need a crowd of muthafuckas with me. Six men, plus me, and a nigga that didn’t miss, did the trick.

Pullin’ up to the warehouse, I ordered Sahoul to place a bag over Hades’ head and tie his hands up. Every hitta I had with me had orders to protect him at all costs. We got out and a huddle was created so I could speak.

“Y’all know the drill. Anything that moves… dead it! Every single one of y’all better make it out of there alive ’cause I ain’t payin’ for yo’ funeral. Check yo’ blicky and make sure it’s off safety. That statement was for you, Benji. Anything you want to say, bro?”

“Alexis is mine. Make sure the girls are prepared, and Benji, please take the fuckin’ safety off. I’m still confused on how yo’ targets don’t off yo’ slow ass,” he added.

“I got it, Hades, damn. That shit happens one time, and y’all won’t shut the fuck up about it,” Benji said.

“Lie again. It was three,” I said, smacking him in the back of the head.

“A’ight, a’ight. Let’s end this shit before her wife leave a nigga from neglection,” Hades jested.

Never had I ever heard that man joke before a killing. We were either about to have some fun, or Alexis was about to get the worst execution ever.
