Chapter 9 Marcus
MARCUS
By the time they got home, Marcus ordered some takeout, which they wolfed down in front of the TV, drinking sodas and beer.
Gavin sat on the floor with his back against the sofa, while Marcus lounged on the couch, shirtless, in just a pair of joggers.
“Pass the spring rolls,” Marcus ordered, balancing his plate on his stomach as Gavin passed him the box over his head without looking up from his phone.
Marcus grabbed a roll and then pushed the box back toward the boy.
“What’s got your attention all wrapped up?” Marcus asked, biting into the spring roll, then placing the other half down on his plate.
“Huh?” he asked, turning his head slightly in Marcus’s direction.
“The phone. What’s so interesting?”
“Oh. Nothing. Just checking how my posts are trending.”
“Trending?” Marcus asked, taking another bite of his spring roll.
It had been Gavin’s idea to order Chinese food. Marcus wasn’t a huge fan, but he was really liking these spring roll thingies.
Gavin turned so his elbow was propped up on the sofa, touching the side of Marcus’s ribs, while he held his phone so Marcus could see.
“See these numbers down here?” Gavin asked, pointing to the numbers listed on each photo.
“That is the number of people who viewed my posts. The more people who view, comment, and like my posts, the more engagement I get. The bigger my following, the more money I make from brand partnerships and sponsored content.”
“You make money by posting pictures online?” Marcus asked, his eyebrows scrunching together.
“Well, yes. Kind of. I’m what you would call a social media influencer.”
Marcus couldn’t help but chuckle.
“A social media what?”
“Influencer. Don’t laugh. It’s a real job. Right now, I have one point eight million followers on social media. I’m pulling in a good ten to fifteen thousand dollars a month by being an influencer. It all depends on which products and brands I’m posting about.”
Marcus began to choke on his food.
Sitting up, he placed his plate down on the coffee table and continued coughing until the killer pea cleared his throat.
“You make how much? For doing what exactly?”
“I post reviews of products, restaurants, stores, and tell people what they should or shouldn’t wear, and what they should or shouldn’t buy. I promote products and places, and I influence people online.”
Nodding, Marcus stood up and walked toward the hallway. “I guess that makes me an influencer as well.”
Gavin looked up at him. “How do you figure?”
“I tell people what to do, and then they do it.” He turned and walked toward the bathroom.
“That’s not how it works,” Gavin shouted after him, mockingly.
Stepping out of his underwear, Marcus adjusted the water once more before stepping into the shower.
The day had been way too fucking long. What he really needed now was a nice, long, hot shower and a good tug on his meat.
He couldn’t remember the last time he busted a nut. Was it three days? Five? Come to think of it, when was the last time he had his dick sucked?
It was the redhead who came into the bar with her friends about a month ago. She wouldn’t stop smiling at him until he stepped out back and unzipped his fly. Her mouth fell open, and Marcus showed her why he was the leader of the Shadow Vipers.
Fuck, that woman knew how to swallow a cock and play with a man’s balls.
Had it really been a whole fuckin’ month since he had his nuts played with? Damn, his life really sucked.
Building up a nice lather, he ran his hand along the length of his cock and began enjoying the feel of his calloused hands.
“Mmm, take that cock, babe,” Marcus growled under his breath thinking about his last experience. He closed his eyes and tilted his head back under the water.
“You know, just because you bark orders at people and scare them into doing what you want does not make you an influencer,” Gavin rambled as he walked into the bathroom without even knocking.
Marcus jerked forward, startled. He could see Gavin’s outline through the thin shower curtain. He was standing at the sink, putting toothpaste on his brush.
“Umm, what the fuck, dude? I’m in here!” Marcus growled.
“Yeah. So? I’ve got food stuck in my teeth, and I need to get it out before I lose it.”
Marcus placed his hands in front of his junk, hoping he could cover up his rather large predicament.
“So, what’s your deal anyway?” Gavin asked, toothbrush in mouth as he began to scrub away. “You got a girlfriend or something? You never really answered my question the other day.”
Using one hand to wipe water from his eyes, Marcus tried to will his cock to go down.
“No. No girlfriend.”
“Boyfriend?” Gavin asked, his voice rising an octave as he waited expectantly for an answer.
“No boyfriend.”
“So you just do random hookups whenever you get horny,” Gavin concluded.
“Umm… that’s none of your business,” Marcus barked back.
He wasn’t exactly sure how to answer that question. He didn’t like using apps for sex since most of the people never looked like their pictures. He just kind of fucked whenever someone hit on him.
Most were just drunken, last-call fucks, either in the bathroom or out behind the bar. A few had been spur-of-the-moment, outdoor romps when no other place was available.
He didn’t exactly do the dating, relationship thing, so bedroom sex wasn’t that frequent.
Marcus was the leader of the Shadow Vipers. He fucked wherever and whenever he wanted. He didn’t do romance or take people on dates. He had too many obligations and things to worry about to let something like his dick control his life.
No. It was easier to satisfy his urge by getting his dick wet, then move on with his life after his balls were empty.
The rest of the guys were free to run around like horndogs loose at a biker party, but he was their leader. He had to make sure that everyone was safe and taken care of.
“Oh, come on. Big, strong guy like you must get laid all the time,” Gavin murmured through a mouthful of dental floss.
Marcus could see his silhouette through the curtain and wondered just how much Gavin could see of him.
“I do fine,” Marcus answered, picking up the soap and deciding to continue with his shower. He began by soaping his underarms, then moving on to his chest and stomach. He had a nice lather going as he soaped up his body.
Next, he placed his foot on the edge of the tub and began washing his thigh.
Gavin gave a whistle.
“Judging by that hog dangling between your legs, I’m pretty sure it gets lots of attention.” Gavin chuckled as Marcus quickly moved to cover his junk.
“Will you get out, you little perve,” Marcus barked, feeling his cheeks flush at the comment.
“I’m just saying. If you ever need a mouth to service that hog or an ass to take out all that pent-up aggression on, I’d happily volunteer myself as tribute. No questions asked, no commitment needed.” Gavin chuckled as he exited the bathroom. “Night, Daddy!”
Marcus let out an exhausted breath. This kid was going to be the death of him.
It was just after four a.m. when Marcus woke. His mouth was dry, and he needed a glass of water.
Hopping out of bed, Marcus walked toward the hallway, then stopped once he reached his bedroom door.
Sitting up against the wall, with his head fallen forward in a position that could not have been comfortable, was Gavin.
The poor kid was sleeping just outside his bedroom door in the same position he’d found him the previous night. Clearly, he was still having trouble sleeping alone.
Exhaling, Marcus reached down and scooped up the sleeping fireball, gently bouncing him in his arms until he had a proper, firm grip.
Looking between his bedroom and Gavin’s at the other end of the hallway, Marcus decided to let Gavin stay in his bed for the night.
His feet padded along the floor quietly as he made his way into his bedroom.
Carefully, Marcus lowered Gavin onto his bed, his black satin sheet crumpling under the weight of the young man’s sleeping body.
Yes, Marcus liked the cool feel of smooth satin sheets pressed up against his normally naked body while he was trying to sleep in the warm summer heat. Nothing felt better.
Well… a few things felt better…
Once he had Gavin settled in his bed, he stood there for a moment, wondering what the boy was dreaming about. He looked peaceful… calm and at ease. Gently, he brushed a few stray strands of hair away from his forehead.
Gavin let out a soft moan before rolling over and snuggling into the pillow beneath him, completely unaware of his new location.
They were going to have to come up with some sort of arrangement. Marcus was not going to spend the next, god knows how many nights, sleeping with this little koala bear clinging to his side.
Nope. Sharing his bed was not something that Marcus ever did—except when Ace was younger. But Ace was different. He was his little bro.
This little snoring koala was not so innocent. Marcus was liable to roll over in the middle of the night, only to discover that the little black-haired, blue-eyed demon was busy sucking on his knob.
Marcus tried not to chuckle.
His eyes slid down Gavin’s slumbering body and settled on the two perfectly sculpted globes, hidden beneath a thin layer of red fabric. There was something about the way the material fell slightly between Gavin’s ass cheeks that made Marcus’s lips suddenly very dry.
He licked his lips, wondering what it would feel like to bury his face between the boy’s cheeks and devour that tight little hole, which was just begging to be destroyed.
Marcus felt his cock begin to swell.
Fuck. He needed to get laid.
And soon.
Turning, Marcus headed to the kitchen to grab a glass of water and quench the thirst he was suddenly dying from.
