Chapter 26
Ren
Myles weaved through the drills with such speed that I could only stare in astonishment.
I liked to think that my fighting and endurance skills had come a long way.
But if I had to do an obstacle course like this and go up against Myles, I’d be left in his dust. Or in this case, snow.
Why their coach thought practicing army drills outside in the snow was a good idea was beyond me.
All I knew was that I was officially freezing.
Ding.
Digging in my pocket, I pulled out my phone. The moment I tapped the screen, my heart jumped.
Liam.
And the photo…
I glanced around to make sure no one could see my screen before looking down at the image that made me forget all about the cold and the foot of snow around me.
A mostly naked, very hard, smirking Liam stared back at me with a caption in bold at the top.
IF YOU CAN FIND ME, YOU CAN HAVE SOME.
Heat curled through my stomach.
Game on.
I glanced up as the coach whistled for everyone to start at the beginning. Catching Myles’s eye, I pointed toward the building and indicated that I was cold. He nodded.
Destination…straight for Bowfield Hall and the art room. Liam hadn’t given me very much to go on in the background with the plain beige wall behind him, but the paintbrush gripped between his teeth like a rose was a dead giveaway.
Yanking open the door, I sighed at the welcome blast of warmth. The fluorescent lights left on hummed, joining the chorus of my wet boots squeaking on the tile floor. The classrooms were dark, and as I slowly opened the door to the art room, I began to second-guess myself.
The setting sun wouldn’t have provided much light in the first place, but it didn’t matter since the blinds had been pulled down, leaving the room in complete darkness.
“Liam?” My voice was barely a whisper. “You in here?”
I jumped as the old pipes creaked and the heat turned on.
“Why is it so dark,” I asked, reaching for the light switch.
“Don’t turn on the light,” Liam commanded from somewhere in the large room. My hand stilled. “Come in and close the door, Little Rabbit.”
My body couldn’t decide whether to tremble in fear or excitement. I stepped over the threshold and slowly closed the door.
“Lock it,” came Liam’s order.
My fingers brushed the door until I found the metal lock and turned it with a click. Keeping my hand on the wall, I stepped deeper into the void, body quivering.
“You’re adorable when you’re nervous, Little Rabbit,” he drawled.
My eyes darted toward the sound of his voice, and he chuckled. I couldn’t see or hear his feet, but could sense him getting closer. I jumped but managed not to scream as something soft touched my neck.
“So skittish.” The whisper brushed my ear, sending a tingling sensation down my spine. “Are you scared, Little Rabbit?”
“No.”
The heat radiating from his body gave away his position, and he moved in front of me. I sucked in a sharp breath when he captured my chin between his fingers.
“No, what?”
“No, sir.”
Liam traced a single line down my throat, across my shoulder, and to my hand.
“Why are we in here,” I dared to ask.
Liam was used to me bending his rules, and I knew when I could push the envelope.
“Because this is your happy place. Come.”
He led the way, and I blindly followed. The room felt so much larger without my vision. Liam was here, which meant that I was safe, but I couldn’t shake the instinct to search for danger.
“You’re nervous. I can feel your tension,” Liam said as we came to a stop.
“Yes, sir.”
Liam made a hmm noise that had me biting my lip.
“We are going to fix that. Get undressed.”
My brain was buzzing with questions, but I knew that he wouldn’t provide any answers. I would only secure myself a punishment, delaying the inevitable. So, I unzipped my jacket and jumped when he blew on the side of my neck as he took it from my hands.
“What are you thinking about,” Liam asked as I pulled the hoodie and T-shirt over my head. He took those from me, too.
“How am I going to explain this away when we get caught? I’ll end up another headline in the school’s gossip text pool. We’ll be lucky if we don’t get expelled.”
I finished untying my boots and kicked them off.
“Why are you so negative?”
Wiggling the jeans over my hips, I thought about the question.
“Because I spend every day wondering when the other shoe will drop.”
Liam didn’t say anything, but took the rest of my clothes, including my bra and underwear. I looked around, trying to pinpoint his location, but he was too far away to feel, and he was very adept at being perfectly silent.
My heart thumped in my chest, the sound louder with each passing second. It didn’t take long for my mind to run wild with anxiety as all my senses heightened. The cool air of the room flowed over my skin, raising goosebumps and hardening my nipples.
“Take my hand,” Liam whispered from right in front of me.
My body jerked and my pulse spiked, but I set my hand in his. He led me forward until my feet were on something soft, squishy, and warm. I wiggled my toes, loving the sensation.
Liam used the tips of his fingers to trace along my arms and up into my hair.
With a gentle tug, he set my hair free from the ponytail, and it fell around my shoulders.
My throat went dry as he kissed the corner of my mouth and then the side of my neck.
His lips were warm, and I closed my eyes as he stepped closer.
The heat from his body bathed me in a comforting warmth that helped me push away all the wildly negative thoughts.
“Tell me, Little Rabbit, what do you fear when the lights are off?”
I licked my lips as I thought, but with Liam kissing a line down my chest to my nipple, it was hard to think about anything rational other than him.
He sucked me into his mouth, and I gasped.
Every swirl of his tongue drew another sound from my throat as desire stirred in my gut and between my thighs.
“Speak up, Little Rabbit, or I stop,” Liam threatened.
He switched to my other breast and gave it the same treatment.
“I fear that the silence and darkness aren’t empty. That something is waiting in it for me. Waiting for me to be vulnerable and always watching for the moment to strike.”
“That is a very heavy weight to carry,” he said, and like everything with Liam, my emotions twisted in my gut.
He always managed to make me feel safe and yet forced me to be stronger on my own. He was a master at pulling the right string at the right time.
“Yes, sir,” I breathed out.
He stepped to the side, and my head followed his path.
There was nothing but darkness, and yet my mind still saw him.
His hand skimmed down my body and drew little designs the entire way before slipping between my legs.
Keeping my hands to myself was always such a struggle, especially when he was standing so close.
Liam’s hard chest brushed against my arm, while his cock bumped against my hip.
My heart hammered out of control with anticipation.
“You’re allowed to make noise tonight.”
His gravelly tone washed over me as he pressed closer. His hot skin against mine made me shiver. Liam continued to tease me as he rubbed my clit while growling into my ear. My legs shook.
“I want to hear every moan, whimper, and plea for more tonight. Say, yes, sir,” he growled.
“Yes, sir,” I managed to get out as he pushed his finger inside me.
“You’re such a good fucking girl, Little Rabbit.”
His groan set my blood completely on fire. It was the sound of someone coming undone, and yet with Liam, it was just another level of control he had on himself, but also on me.
My fists clenched, and my head fell back as he moved faster. With my senses heightened in the dark, there was nothing to distract me from what he was doing. It was hard to describe how it felt when Liam touched me and the freedom of letting go.
“I feel every breath you take. Every shiver. Every yes you won’t say out loud,” Liam whispered, and I shuddered, unsure how I stayed upright.
“You want to let go, don’t you? You want to come on my fingers and feel the pleasure coat your body.
For just a moment, you don’t want to worry about anything other than feeling weightless again… and again…and again.”
I moaned, sweat forming on the back of my neck as I forced myself to stand still.
“Say it. Surrender yourself to me, Little Rabbit.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Yes, sir, what? Tell me what you want?”
His finger slowed just as I was near the top of the cliff to my climax. He knew. He always knew. And there was no way that Liam was giving in unless I spoke.
“Take the weight for a little while. Please make me feel good. Please let me come,” I begged without a care.
It had become so clear that sometimes the strongest thing I could do was be vulnerable.
“Good girl,” he said, adding a second finger as his other hand pressed to the small of my back for support.
My legs shook, and I leaned into his touch.
I was so close. Just as I was cresting the final peak, Liam kissed me hard.
His lips were demanding, and I whimpered into his mouth as I came.
My body arched back, and I would’ve toppled over but for Liam’s hand.
It was as if I was floating in a sea of darkness, yet I saw an array of colors behind my eyes.
As the wave passed, I rested in his grip.
Liam nipped my bottom lip, sucking it into his mouth.
He removed his fingers, and even without being able to see him, I knew by the moan that he was sucking them clean.
I blushed, the heat not dying out, but burning like kindling in my gut just waiting to be ignited again.
“You taste so sinfully sweet. I can’t get enough of you, Little Rabbit.”
I smiled, loving how even with all his control, he still made me feel like I was the one giving the orders.
“I hope you don’t think we’re finished.”
I felt him smirk as he chuckled, and I swallowed hard.
