Chapter 27
Liam
The new night vision contacts that Nash was testing out for Mr. Genovese were incredible and Ren had never looked so beautiful as she handed herself over to me.
“I hope you don’t think we’re finished,” I said, loving the mixed flash of emotions that crossed Ren’s face.
Pulling the blindfold out of my pocket, I draped it over her shoulder and dragged it along her soft skin. Smoothing down her hair, I placed it over her eyes.
“Isn’t this overkill? I already can’t see,” she said.
“It will make sense soon enough. Patience, Little Rabbit,” I said, tightening the knot.
Taking her hand, I guided Ren into position and smiled as she took my subtle cues. She lowered herself to her knees with her hands behind her back.
Leaving her there, I walked over to the stereo and turned on the sounds machine that was set to a thunder storm. The rumble and falling rain started and was as rhythmical and calming as a heartbeat. Ren looked around as the small speakers placed beside the makeshift bed area came to life.
Picking up the paint brush, with the orange UV body paint, and a torn piece of material from one of my t-shirts.
I walked over to Ren and took a moment to gaze at her.
Theo had forced me into her orbit, and I’d been so focused on the negative of having her in our lives that I’d been blind to the possibilities.
One of these days, I would have to thank him properly.
Ren licked her lips, and I could tell that she was getting nervous, kneeling here in the dark, unable to see. I draped the material over her shoulder, and her body jerked slightly with the contact.
I loved how the crisp, white shirt allowed for so much symbolism to be emphasized in her life. Taking the orange paint, I swirled it in circles on her neck like a point of origin.
“Tell me, Little Rabbit, what follows you when you close your eyes,” I asked, stepping out of the camera’s view.
Ren’s head tilted slightly to the left as she thought. I pulled the remote off the tall stand and pressed the button that activated both the UV light and the camera. Ren startled, looking up and around.
“Ignore that and answer the question.”
“My mother’s last look. She stared at me with such love, and what I think she knew was goodbye.
I didn’t recognize it for what it was. I’ve spent every night analyzing that moment when she ordered me into the safe room.
She stared directly at the camera before the men burst through the bedroom door.
That’s what I see when I close my eyes. Like a horror movie playing on repeat with no end. ”
Laying the orange brush down, I picked up the pink one and made my way back.
“Take my hand.”
As soon as she reached for me, I helped her stand.
“I want you to stand relaxed and comfortable.”
I shifted the torn shirt so it draped over her other shoulder, falling like a waterfall between her breasts, covering just one. With a steady stroke, I dragged the paint from her collarbone across her heart. The wide bristles fanned out, creating broken lines and gaps in the application.
“Good girl. Now tell me, what part of yourself do you hide from, including when you look at your reflection?”
She lifted her head, looking up as if she could see the sky, and I hit the camera again. Ren didn’t jump this time, making me smile. I turned to my workstation and prepared the aqua paint as I waited for her to answer.
“The part of me that doubts I deserve peace or really any of this. The school, all of you, my father. It feels…it feels like a glimmer of something special that will never truly be mine. Despite how we feel or what we want, the perfect words, an infinite amount of money, or the contracts that are signed…it can all come crumbling down with one wrong move. It’s like I’m living inside a deadly game of Jenga that could not only take my life, but all that I love. ”
It hurt to hear how much she took on, but I knew that there was no point trying to tell her to stop because she wouldn’t listen. Ren was programmed to look out for others.
Putting the paintbrush between my teeth, I took the material off her shoulder and tied it on her arm before painting four lines across her side like ribs.
She shivered as the brush tickled her skin, and I turned her so that she was facing away from the camera. Grabbing the yellow paint, I traced her spine and then touched her chin so that she glanced back before I snapped another photo.
She was a living work of art as she exposed the darkest parts of her soul to me.
“When you think of the future, what terrifies you the most,” I asked as I moved the cloth to her waist.
“Failing. Letting everyone down. I know that the expectations of who I am and what I need to become are high, and I fear that I’ll never be good enough.”
I snapped another photo and then brushed my lips against hers.
“You’ve always been enough.”
Removing the ripped material, I dropped it on the table and grabbed two paintbrushes, one purple and the other green. Taking her hands, I painted one in each color.
“Run your hands all over your body, and I want you to move.”
“Move?”
“Yes, stay where you are, but allow yourself to fall, stand, sway. Show me how you feel inside. Let your body speak.”
Stepping back, I dipped my brushes in their colors and held them in one hand.
Ren was tentative at first, but once she got into it, it was like watching a butterfly transform before my eyes.
As she kicked and turned, I tossed more paint at her, the colors landing in random patterns as the camera flashed.
“Tell me who you want to become when the darkness lifts?”
“Someone my mother would still recognize.”
“Who are you now?”
“A girl trying to rebuild herself.”
“What are you destined to become?” I growled.
Ren stopped, her fists at her side, chin up, her chest heaving.
“A queen.”
Laying the paintbrushes aside, I peeled off the night-vision goggles and set them down. I was plunged into the same darkness, but the image of her like this would burn forever in my memory.
Keeping only the remote, I walked over to Ren and stopped in front of her. Tilting her head up, I kissed her slowly as her bottom lip trembled against mine. Warm, salty tears mingled on our tongues, and I lapped them up, drinking her sorrow down.
The camera flashed, and I kissed her deeply. Ren moved with my body in a show of submission and trust at the same time.
Flash.
Ren wrapped her legs around my waist when I lifted her.
Flash.
Our lips never parted as I turned her in a circle fast enough that her hair flew out behind her.
I dropped to my knees with Ren positioned so that she would be looking down at me in my arms, and then another flash.
“Give yourself to me,” I whispered.
“I’m yours, now and forever,” she said, and I slowly lowered her down onto my cock.
She moaned and clung to my neck when I sank deeper.
“That’s very good, Little Rabbit, take what you want,” I growled, and sucked in a deep breath as Ren started to move.
She was incredibly hot and wet, her muscles squeezing me tight. I savored the urge to come and relished in the sweet agony as she writhed. My Little Rabbit bounced on my lap, soft whimpers tumbling from her lips as she used me to reach her orgasm.
I loved it as much as I loved her.
“You’re not afraid anymore,” I said. “The darkness doesn’t control you.”
Gripping my shoulders, she arched back, moaning and bouncing faster.
“No one owns you. No one can scare you unless you let them.”
I clenched my teeth as she tested my self-control.
“I can feel your strength in every move you make. Keep going…show me who you’re becoming?”
The camera flashed over and over as my Little Rabbit took control and fucked me how she wanted.
“Oh god, Liam…”
“Yes, that’s it. Be my good girl and come for me.”
“Right there, oh god…I’m going to come.”
Ren lost her rhythm, and I helped her, pushing up into her as she came. Her body bowed back, frozen like she was in pain, but the moan on her lips and the wetness that coated my cock told the real story.
Before the climax subsided, I shifted Ren to her back and slowly fucked her. Her breathing evened out in between the orgasms ripping through her body. Once she met my pace, silently begging for more, I sped up. Rearing back, I grabbed her hips and fucked her hard, our bodies slapping together.
The remote clutched in my hand set the camera off nonstop like a strobe light. The flashes gave me the perfect view of Ren sprawled on her back, hair wild, face the picture of pleasure, paint smeared in a rainbow as her breasts bounced in time to my thrusts.
“Look at you, Little Rabbit, taking all of me so perfectly. You were made for this. Made for me.”
“Yes, sir,” she whimpered, one hand running over her stomach and the other tweaking her nipple. I smirked.
“Spread your legs wider,” I ordered, and she held them out in a vee. I growled, my body tensing as the control slipped. I wanted her now.
My ass flexed as I disappeared inside of her and picked up the pace. My fingers dug into her hips, driving my cock deeper.
“Come for me again. Do it. Rub that sweet pussy and come for me,” I said, and Ren’s fingers went to work, rubbing her clit in a circle. The whimpers and spasms started again.
“You’re so close,” I said, and she nodded.
“I’m…I’m…Liam, please…don’t stop…so close. Oh, oh, oh. Ahhhh,” Ren yelled, her body tensing, nails digging into the soft blankets as she made fists.
“Fuck,” I growled and slammed home for the last time as I came. The release tore through me, the flash of the light above blinding me as the camera caught this incredible moment between us. My cock released a dozen times, the pent-up need was painful in the most delicious way.
Fully spent, I stayed inside of her and collapsed, blanketing her body with mine. We were both sweaty and breathing hard as we held on to one another.
I took one final photo of us like this.
A reminder of who she really was when she doubted herself in any way.
Ren was a work of art that could never be appraised, because she was priceless.
It was nearing eight when we got everything cleaned up, other than needing a shower, and getting her naked again was my top priority.
Ren pulled on her hoodie, and I grinned.
The smeared paint on her face looked sexy, and it was going to be entertaining watching her try to ignore the questioning stares.
Packing up the camera, I zipped the case closed and put the strap over my head.
“I’m never going to see this room the same way again,” Ren said.
“Is that a good or bad thing?”
She smiled wide, her face glowing.
“Do you even have to ask?”
I walked over to Ren and cupped her face, running my thumbs over the streaks of pink, orange, and purple, loving how her eyes sparkled.
“No, I don’t, but I like to hear you say it,” I said, kissing the tip of her nose.
“Yes, it’s a very good thing,” she whispered. “Thank you for all of this. You put so much thought and effort into every moment we spend together. It astounds me how you even came up with something like this.”
I brushed her lips with mine.
“It’s easy with a great muse.”
She laughed, her cheeks turning red.
“I love you, Liam.”
“I love you, too.”
My phone vibrated again, and I rolled my eyes.
“We’d better go before they send out a search party.”
Linking our fingers, we walked to the door and turned off the lights, plunging us into the dark abyss.
Opening the door, I stopped when I noticed a light shining near the back exit. The classroom at the end of the hall was occupied.
“What’s wrong?” Ren whispered.
“It’s probably just a teacher working late,” I answered and nodded toward the room.
Ren looked up at me with those inquisitive eyes, and I knew she wanted to check. I pulled out my phone and opened the camera app as we silently moved closer.
We were a classroom away when I heard two voices. One male and one female, but it didn’t sound like anything sexual. Instead of speaking, I signed to Ren.
I’m going to take a look. Check if that room is unlocked.
She nodded and backpedaled to the closed door behind us, giving me a thumbs up as she tried the handle.
Not wanting to have my shadow accidentally seen by whoever was in the classroom, I stood off to the side and hit record on the phone. The small window in the door provided a clear shot, while I remained hidden.
What the hell?
Why was Mr. Sharpe meeting with Patricia Genovese at this time of night? They spoke too low to hear what was being said, and it appeared casual.
My gut wasn’t sure what to make of this.
They weren’t hugging or kissing or even laughing.
They weren’t exchanging money or bags, at least from what I could see.
Their body language was neutral, but the vibe was serious.
It might have been a parent-teacher conference, but it was still strange. Was this truly about Vicky?
I leaned closer, trying to pick up on what was being said, but it was no use.
They shook hands, and I twisted, waving for Ren to get into the classroom. She jumped inside with me right behind her. I barely got the door closed before they passed our hiding spot on their way to the main entrance.
I watched them through the glass until I couldn’t see them anymore, then turned to Ren.
She signed. Who was it?
“Mr. Sharpe and Patricia,” I whispered.
“What the hell were they doing together,” Ren asked, softly.
“No clue, but I don’t like it.”
Once I was sure the coast was clear, I opened the door.
“Come on, let’s go, we should tell the guys.”
Grabbing her hand, we darted out into the hallway and jogged for the back exit.
My mind spun, going through all the possibilities of what I’d seen. As we stepped out into the night and the cold wind hit me in the face, I realized that regardless of the reason for the meeting, we needed to stay vigilant.
