Chapter 1
From the moment our eyes met, I'd never been more hypnotized by a girl. However, she wasn't my type. Scarlett doesn't have a flat stomach or even a thigh gap, but that didn't stop the attraction or my dick from twitching.
-Axel Creed (Freshman)

Football was my ticket to freedom. My key to getting away from the watchful eyes of the patriarchs in my family. They didn't understand my love for the game, but they accepted my college choice.
I almost opted out of attending freshman orientation, but my roommate, Jaxon Williams was going, and he asked me to do him a solid and walk over with him.
He seems like a cool guy, and he's on the team, too.
Jaxon is an undercover nerd, just like me.
While his expertise dwells more in everything Science, mine is of the technological sort.
You need a fake ID or to hack into someone's online banking app.
I got you. Part criminal, part saint, there's no in-between with me.
Orientation is boring the hell out of me.
The Dean of the school is a douche canoe.
The only thing that is keeping my attention is the curvaceous blonde bombshell in front of me.
Her pants are red, and she smells like vanilla and honey.
My dick twitches every time she chews on the edge of her pen.
I've never been inside of a plus-size girl before. Fuck me.
My fantasy is getting the best of me. I wonder if she’d let me tie her up while I fuck her from behind.
One thing is for certain, a little bit of pain can bring a hell of a lot of pleasure.
I shake my head to snap myself out of this, noticing we are being dismissed.
I bid my roomie goodbye. And almost as if she's a Siren and I'm heeding the call, my feet involuntarily move to follow behind the beautiful girl. She's tallish, with thick thighs.
When you've been with as many girls as I have, you know the ones to steer clear from. This girl comes with a warning label. She has relationship material written all over her, and that is never going to happen with me. So, why am I still following her then?
A blonde mini version of the siren walks up to her, making tension radiate through my body.
A fierce need to protect her pierces through me, but that shit gets calmed down real quick, because no, I'm here to observe, not to interact.
From the tidbits of conversation that trickles through the air, I've pieced together that they are cousins, and the tiny one, named Janet, seems like a bitch. Very condescending to Scarlett.
They walk into the library, and as Scarlett holds the door open for me, our eyes lock.
Breathing becomes next to impossible. My throat seals shut, and I'm basically fucked, hypnotized by this brown-eyed beauty.
There is a calmness to her that settles my errant soul.
What is wrong with me? Flowery words make me want to puke, but here I am, thinking them without forming any nausea.
Without thought, I take my index finger and rub the light dusting of freckles on her right cheek.
She shivers under my touch, then looks down in submission.
I'm unsure if she's even conscious of what she's done.
The dominant alpha inside me roars and beats on his chest. The need to claim her scares the hell out of me, and I turn around and walk away from her without as much as another glance.
Creeds don't get attached to anyone. We fuck, we fight, and then we leave before they can leave us. At least, that has been my motto my whole life. It's worked well so far, and I've never gotten hurt. For the rest of the semester, I focus on football, my new brothers, beer, and all the tits that come my way. The debauchery does nothing to soothe my soul the way Scarlett did with just a look. It only makes me hungrier for my brown-eyed girl. There are several reasons I have to stay away from her though. My father wouldn’t approve for one. For two, she’s too pure. I just know it and my dark ass heart would hurt her. For the first time in my life, I’m putting someone else’s needs before my own.
I don’t do relationships. I do situations, and any type of situation-ship would only break her in the end.
And fuck all, it would probably hurt me, too.
Even though I vow to keep my distance, my eyes are never far from Scarlett. I want to protect her, even if she never knows it. She's mine in dream only, and that is enough for now. It'll have to be. I wouldn't survive if I hurt her.
