13. Epilogue 2-Amber

Five years later…

“Mom!” Lydia yells, racing into the kitchen. “Roscoe stole my hamburger!” I sigh, and go in search of our rescue dog. Sure enough, the little Terrier is destroying a McDonald’s wrapper that once held her hamburger.

“I need my hamburger back,” my four-year-old says firmly to him. Lord help me. I can’t believe this craziness is my life, but I love every minute of it.

I turn to her, hoping to make her understand. It’s not the first time this has happened. “Sweetheart, your hamburger is in Roscoe’s stomach. You don’t want it back. Did you set it down on the floor again?” She nods her head.

“I did, but told him to leave it alone.”

I sigh. “Well, that didn’t work out so well.”

“But I’m still hungry, Mommy!”

“Let’s go see if Daddy got anything extra.” Thankfully, he did.

“Thank you,” I mouth as he produces another bag of food. It’s not our first rodeo. Lydia always manages to give part of her food to Roscoe.

“Little princess, I just happen to have another plain burger. Now, sit at the table and eat it, please. And don’t feed it to Roscoe.”

“Okay, Daddy!” she races to the kitchen table and happily munches away.

“Hi, baby,” Kane says, kissing me hungrily.

“Mmm. Hi, yourself. Did you miss me today?”

“I always miss you. I spent most of my time at the shop today, but I did manage to get in a little bit of stalking time.”

“Oh, really? How was that?”

“Really hot. I saw my wife doing my books, then taking care of our two kids.”

I laugh. “That doesn’t exactly sound sexy.”

“Believe me, it’s the sexiest thing ever. I love that you work for me, and I love that you are the best mom in the world. In fact, I’d love to knock you up again.”

“Really?” I say as he kisses my neck.

“Yes. Nothing sexier than you carrying my baby. I love to see your belly round and your big tits dripping cream.” He squeezes my breasts as he speaks, making my body heat up. He pushes one breast out of my bra and sucks, drinking down my milk.

“That feels so good, but Lydia will be up for awhile.”

He smiles. “It’s not a problem. The sitter should be here any minute. I asked her to come watch the kids for awhile so we could have some alone time.”

“Ooh. That sounds good. Jeremy just fell asleep.”

“That’s fine. You know he sleeps like the dead.”

“True.” Since he turned one, that is. Before that, it seemed like he never slept. “Where are we going?”

“That’s up to you, baby girl. Sarah can keep the kids busy downstairs for the evening. We can go out, or we can order in, whichever you prefer. All I care about is having you for dessert.”

I lick my lips. “How about we do dinner here? That way we’ll have plenty of time for dessert .”

“Perfect. I love you, baby girl.”

“Love you, too.”

A few weeks later, I was knocked up with our third and final child.
