Chapter 11 #7
Fumbling for lube and a condom, he settled between Joshua’s legs to work him open with his fingers.
With sunlight streaming all around them, tangling in Joshua’s hair, everything felt slow and warm and golden, far removed from the distant noise of traffic.
Leo shaped soundless words against Joshua’s skin, combined it with sharp nips at the sensitive skin between Joshua’s thighs, and Joshua responded with gasps and sighs, twitching against the sheets.
By the time Leo coaxed Joshua up on his hands and knees, he seemed barely able to support his own weight.
“You ready, love?” Leo asked softly, a palm between Joshua’s shoulder blades, steadying him with the other hand gripping his hip.
Joshua gave a choked laugh. His voice sounded wrecked. “Been ready for hours.”
“Should have said so.”
“I did.”
“Truly sorry.” Dipping down to kiss Joshua’s back, Leo rolled on the condom, then shuffled closer and reached for the lube. “Must have missed it over the racket you made.”
“God, you’re a bloody tease,” Joshua muttered. When Leo leaned slightly to the side to glance at Joshua’s face, he was biting down on a grin, eyes closed, his lashes feathery against his cheek. Leo felt warm all over.
Coating himself up he moved in close, his front to Joshua’s back. With a little bite to Joshua’s shoulder, he ordered, “Be a good boy and grip the headboard.”
Joshua exhaled and complied.
Sliding in slowly, Leo stilled once he was all the way inside.
Jesus, this was—tight pressure around his cock, Joshua shifting in tiny increments, and Leo squeezed his eyes shut against the overwhelming need to make this quick and dirty, finish in just a few sloppy strokes.
No, no, he wanted to savour this. He wanted to cherish every second, wanted to make this every bit as good for Joshua as it already was for him.
He pulled back by a mere inch, hissing at the slow drag. When he twisted back into the dark heat of Joshua’s body, Joshua hitched in a shaky breath. Joshua’s hands were white-knuckled around the headboard, and Leo loved him so much, so much.
Repeating the motion, he listened for the telltale catch of Joshua’s breath. Yes, there. Another torturously slow thrust, exhaustion clouding Leo’s vision. He bit his lip against it.
“Leo,” Joshua got out, nearly inarticulate.
It made Leo snap his hips, eyes drifting shut and sparks flitting behind his lids.
He forced them back open to watch Joshua stutter out a groan at another thrust, Joshua’s forehead pressed against a raised arm.
His back was arched, a lovely dip at the waist. Leo fitted his fingers around the curve of one hip and pulled Joshua into him at the same time as he nudged forward again.
Repeat. Fuck, Joshua was beautiful like this—helplessly moving into each roll of Leo’s hips, instinctual as they found a rhythm, and Leo thought of the ocean, of waves washing up on the shore. Never like this. Never, never.
He dipped his head to kiss Joshua’s shoulder blade, give it a little nip with his teeth, a distant memory tugging on his conscience. “Want to stay inside you forever,” he uttered, almost too low to carry, but Joshua’s shaky sigh proved he’d heard it.
“Want you to,” was his blurred response, and Leo kept his mouth open against Joshua’s skin, twisted deep, deep, before he pulled back.
Lifting his head, he watched himself slide in and out of Joshua’s body as he ran his palm down Joshua’s back, kneaded his arse and fought against the pull of gravity.
No, not quite yet. Not until Joshua had come.
Leo tightened his grip on Joshua’s waist, fingers digging into the soft skin, and brought the other hand around to circle Joshua’s cock. “Let go,” he told him.
“Let go?” Joshua sounded utterly lost, panting with each thrust.
“Of the headboard.”
The moment Joshua did, Leo draped himself over his back and tumbled both of them down.
He didn’t know what it was that did it—the shift in gravity, the loss of control or Leo’s fingers on Joshua’s cock—but Joshua came in that instant, body clenching around Leo, and oh Jesus holy fucking Christ, okay, okay.
Almost there, yes, God, and Leo needed just a little more, just one more thrust, another one, and then everything whited out.
He came with his mouth pressed against Joshua’s shoulder.
By the time he worked up the will to move, Joshua had melted into the sheets, still gasping a little.
Leo pulled out slowly, the friction on his softening cock just this side of too much.
Quickly, he rid himself of the condom and knotted it before dropping it over the side of the bed.
They’d need to dispose of it later so the hotel employees wouldn’t trip over it.
“Hey,” Leo whispered, sinking back down.
The word hardly translated over the sound of a car alarm, and, ah. So there was a world outside.
“Hey,” Joshua whispered back. With a small groan he rolled onto his back and pulled Leo to lie halfway across his chest, their legs slotting together. Joshua’s cheeks were heavily flushed, eyes bright.
Leo grinned down at him, then sneaked a hand between Joshua’s thighs to nudge a finger into his body, everything slick with lube.
While Joshua sucked in a sharp breath, he didn’t move away.
A beat later, Leo realised just how possessive of a move that was, and he froze, lungs tight, until Joshua puffed out a quiet laugh.
“You look quite pleased with yourself,” he said.
“I did just fuck you through the mattress, Princeling.” After a deep breath, Leo slid his sticky hand up Joshua’s torso and let it rest over his heart. His grin widened without thought. “That was the royal treatment, you see? Exclusive service, that.”
It was barely out when Leo wanted to swallow it back down. He didn’t think they were at the point where they could joke about this kind of thing. Or were they?
Then Joshua giggled. He giggled, and Leo was probably, most definitely, staring like a lovesick fool. That was all right, though. It was true, after all.
“Too bad that exclusivity always comes at a price,” Joshua said. “Whatever shall it be? Breakfast in bed? A walk on the beach? A title to your name?”
“Got that last one covered. At least in theory.” Leo inhaled, and now it wasn’t just his head that felt as though it had been filled with helium; it was his entire body. He tangled his dirty fingers in Joshua’s hair so he wouldn’t float away. “No, really, I’m a bargain. Your heart will do.”
“Done,” Joshua told him.
There were so many things they still needed to talk about. So many, many things they needed to discuss, plans they’d have to make, and Leo needed to call James and catch up on sleep. But when Joshua drew him in for a kiss, Leo shoved every single one of his worries away.
Right now, he had Joshua in his arms, warm and pliant and all his. The world outside could wait a little longer.
